I was getting a service done last week when I overheard some of the nail technicians talking to one another, and one was being very rude and mean to one of the other girls! Talking badly about the other girls, the staff, and having an attitude with one girl specifically! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This is a good school but... when you walk in all you see is a bunch of girls up at the booking area and you just set there waiting on them to move the book around because they will complain when they don’t want to do something, it made me feel like I was not wanted there. There was a girl named Elizabeth that was suppose to do me and she was setting up on the desk and blew really hard which made me think wow she really does not want to do my hair! Not professional at all! Especially with everyone setting up in the front you don’t know if your coming or going when you walk in because there is to many people at the book and they set up there and eat as well.

Very pleased with color and cut. They took extra time to make sure I was satisfied. They wore masks and all were very pleasant. They sure make you feel very comfortable and answer every question. If they dont no they will ask someone who does no. I will for sure go back.

Currently not accepting walk-ins, just appointments only. Masks required due to COVID-19. Had a perm and acrylic nails with gel polish. Done an amazing job on both! Super friendly atmosphere. Paula, the owner, and other instructors keep a close eye on the students to make sure everything is going well. Cant beat the prices anywhere. I paid less for both services than I couldve gotten a perm done in a salon. I will continue to go back as I have done for years.

Had a wonderful experience today. I had a facial, manicure and ear candling. Tami was wonderful with facial and Lucy did a great job with the manicure. The facial was on so relaxing. Going back on my next day off!

Got eyelash extensions done here with my friend the girl that done her told us they would last a week Well that didn’t even last 24 hours...

I got a tour of this school and am so impressed!The other beauty school in Morristown, Hamblen school of Beauty, had no disinfection priorities at all. The owner even said, and I quote, this is a school and there is a learning curve. Not when it comes to public safety there isnt!Tennessee institute of cosmotology is nothing like that. It has a special room where implements are disinfected. The school is so clean and well oranized I hope I can go here in the future as the other school would not give me a refund so I could attend here.If you are a person that looks at stars to choose your school please note the owner, Kayla Sloan, has given herself 5 stars. Also, note the times of the other 5 star comment, she got her friends to give the school 5 stars as well.

I went to get my hair cut here today and everything was going ok till the hair dresser told me that she was going to go get someone to check the length of my hair to make sure the top was ok and then i spent like 10 minutes waiting and finally someone came who didnt look like a student, she was just wearing regular street clothes, and she did a little snipping on my hair and then she left and i had to wait again for 10 or so minutes till i finally had to get the owner and she told me my hair dresser left to go be sick in the bathroom and nobody came to tell me, or finish my hair! A girl finally came to finish my hair and she was very unenthusiastic about it, she had no idea what she was doing. I wanted to ask her if it was her first day but I didnt want to come across as being too rude
