I was a nanny for 2 kids who went here. The school was so wonderful and caring and they started kindergarten ahead of the game. I only wish they had elementary school!

Our daughter had a wonderful three years at the Childrens International Workshop. The teachers were outstanding. The space is full of light and the atmosphere is warm, inquisitive and creative. We also greatly appreciated the international aspect of the school and its families. If you are looking for a low-key, yet fun and inspiring place for your young child, the Workshop could be an excellent choice.

Amazing teachers. Great and thorough curriculum. Best space in NYC! My kids are now in private school and still want to visit there all the time.

We sent all our three kids to this wonderful place (the oldest just started highschool and wants to do her community service at the childrens workshop)Starting with their daily painting activity, yoga ,daily outings to one of the coolest playgrounds in nyc, free play ,to learning how to read and write in the most encouraging creative environment ,this preschool was the best choice we made for our kids.They all still ask to visit when we are in the neighborhood because of the bonds they formed with all the great teachers.The space alone is a luxury for a new york city child!Whenever asked about nyc preschools ,I always recommend this one and for those who have followed i have only heard positive experiences.
