MO KHAN IS EVERYTHINGMy son worked with Mo Khan to get into Stuyvesant HS, where he is graduating from this year. Mo has forever been encouraging, supportive, calm, but with seemingly endless energy to lavish on his kids.Mo not only helped my son get into Stuy, he has now helped him gain acceptance into Stanford University, as well.I knew my son needed Mo to help him with his college apps, not because my son isnt capable, but because he needed some coaxing to write something so personal as that college essay.Mo never told my son what to write. He gave him assignments, he worked with my son diligently. He pushed my son to dig deeper and find his story. Kweller is hands down 5 stars. Nothing but positive experiences! They helped me get into Hunter College High School. Useful materials and tips for the test taking process. Great staff who give incredibly helpful feedback. I was motivated to learn and do better. On a vocab contest I won $200 for memorizing 500 words when I was in the sixth grade. When I took the Hunter test, I was extremely prepared and felt that Kweller materials were spot-on. I think its a great test prep and overall learning center. Ill be back for SAT prep!

My daughter learned a lot from the Kweller Hunter Tutoring Course and it was very helpful for her while she was taking the exam and she eventually got an offer! Michael was a great teacher for her all of courses and Nina helped her reach a better understanding of essay writing. Kweller Prep is a godsend to all parents who are considering prep for their children. Before Kweller, my son was struggling with the writing assignment of the Hunter examination as well as the critical reading section. Often times, he couldnt finish the test and needed a lot more time than allowed. He now attends the Kweller manhattan location and not only did the tutors there help him with time management, theyve also improved his writing and grammar skills considerably. Hes even applied the same skills to his regular schoolwork and is getting much higher grades! I have full confidence in him for the upcoming Hunter exam in January-- this prep place is nothing short of a miracle.Not to mention, his tutors are super communicative with my husband and I about my sons progress. When we pick him up, they always update us about his recent tests, essay scores, or participation in class. Ive been to other prep places before and theyve never been this welcoming!

I attended Kweller Prep as a middle schooler and landed a seat at Townsend Harris. In reflection, I think Kweller played a large role in my acceptance but what I did outside of prep school played am even larger one. I made time to study Kweller materials for hours after school, daily and despite any extra curricular or family events I had going on. The textbooks from Kweller were great, but there was so much material that i had to study for hours outside of class too- it isn’t possible to be half-way dedicated to test prep. I’m thankful that I joined this program for support but want to add that I studied from their material like 100 or more hours at home too. Later on, I applied to work here and remind my students of the same. The effort behind-the-scenes is really important to their success. What you put in is what you get out.

I will start by saying that Kweller Prep helped me increase my SAT score by well over 200 points. I took prep classes 4 times per week and they were roughly 1.5- 2 hour sessions. I did this for about four months and took the SAT two times. Frances offered great advice along the way and her workshops were very helpful. The tutors were patient and knowledgeable. Through numerous practice exams, we were able to determine and focus on the skills that most needed improvement so no time was wasted. Though Kweller worked for me, I will say that no prep center is a miracle worker. Students really need to show commitment and dedication in order to show significant improvement. Kweller tutors place greater emphasis on this than other tutoring centers that I tried. They work very hard to motivate their students and keep them focused.At Kweller, I was able to learn strategies that helped me be more efficient while taking the SAT. I also mastered my overall test taking skills, which was essential for success in my college career. I am now entering my fourth year at Northeastern University, one of the top universities in Boston, MA.

I cant speak highly enough about the insights and resources that Francis Kweller and her staff at both the Manhattan and Queens campus provided my kids in their testing! My 14 year aced the SHSAT and got into Stuyvesant and my 12 year old got into Hunter! The teachers are energetic, engaging and bright. They really take their time and know how to motivate their students. The results with my kids speak for themselves!

Kweller Manhattan prepared my son extremely well for the SHSAT exam. Frances, the Founder, was always available via phone or email to answer any questions. Kweller Manhattan had great tutors (we really liked Dasha and Farib , both wonderful tutors who were responsive and communicative), lots of bonus test prep, emails filled with information and free workshops for parents and students. We have been thrilled with the program and highly recommend it to any child preparing for this exam. Really fantastic experience from beginning to end!

I highly recommend Kweller for Hunter High School Prep. Kweller successfully balances having a serious and challenging program (with homework!) and a loving and encouraging environment. We have never done any sort of tutoring for my son before, so this was a big (and expensive!) decision. My son decided that he wanted to take the one 4 hour class/week for 3 months and never once complained, even though it made for a very long day. He had so much fun learning new math concepts that it made up for the difficulties he had with the essays. All of the children were very bright, most are extremely hard working and serious, and the tutors are exceptional. The tutors worked with and patiently gave updates to nervous children and parents, encouraging the kids to continue improving the reading, writing, and math skills. Even if my son had not been accepted to Hunter, I dont feel like this time would have been a waste. He learned how to make his writing more interesting and deep, he learned how to tell a story, and he learned how to break down complicated math problems, annotate reading passages, invaluable test taking skills ... I could go on. Most importantly, he walked into the test confidently, knowing he was prepared. When he left the test, he knew he had done the best he could, and told me I would not have been prepared without the Kweller classes.

My daughter has benefited tremendously from Kwellor, Frances and her tutors are amazing, and as a result my daughter scored a 34 on the A.C.T, and has access to the school of her choice! Thanks again Kwellor!!! Tk
