I went to Arrojo today as a model client assigned to Nicole Berger. I have fine curly hair that can be hard to cut/style if you don’t know what you’re doing. Nicole gave me the most wonderful haircut I’ve had in my 28 years of life. She was talented, kind and took expert care of each one of my curls. I left feeling so happy, pampered, and grateful. So I came as a model to tone my hair. We did discuss the details and I was said tone will wash out and I’m gonna stay blond as I was before. 2 months after I’m like a parrot have 2 colors on my head and it’s not even close to wash out. Do I regret? Oh yeah! Both, teacher and student assured me it’ll wash out. So “professional”. Now I have to bleach my hair again to get my color back. “Thank you”, never again.

Love my hair again!I also got to listen to a class going on while my hair was being cut, and the instructors are SO SUPPORTIVE!! I loved hearing the positive reinforcement and guidance for students.I absolutely will come here again and again.

First off, let me just say that I felt so spoiled to have 2 students working with me for my appointment today. The experience with both Castor & Danny was amazing. They were super gentle and slayed the natural look that I was going for. Also, the environment is very clean which I really appreciated. The products used on my hair all smelled amazing, no complaints here.

I’ve just finished the first stage of my cosmetology program and I couldn’t be happier with how things are going! Got a beyond great haircut and shaping by student the wonderful Conseulo being guided superbly by the stellar Arrojo teacher and hair guru Sarahbel. I was treated like royalty by the effortlessly efficient staff. They took such time and care on my basic typical “guy w receding hairline guy who needs a haircut”. Pampered and primped like a celebrity. Plus who knew getting a simple haircut could be so much fun?! Usually have to have pay a ton $ for this kind of care. What a find!!! Leave a good tip -not required.... you’ll just want to.

This is my second week, in the Barber program, and I am shock on how inform, I have been on hair. Who knew there more to it, then just styling and clipper work.. I can not wait for each day to go to school, that says alot. And to finally have a barber school that can show us a real instruction on doing scissor over comb, then how other schools that think clipper work is all it take to be a barber..I feel like it a British form of teaching which is to be well rounded.. Im happy with my decision for this program.

The best part is that the administration is the most helpful and accommodating staff I have experienced in any education environment. Amazing staff and passionate faculty! Great studen salon space and spacious classrooms. Poorly designed student area. Not enough tables and chairs for all the students, nothing to even make hot water! It would be great to make a proper cafe with a microwave and hot water dispenser so we dont have to go out for every meal!

This is the best kept secret in New York City and I am about to tell you the even better secret: There are two schools!! One in SoHo and one in TriBeCa! Bring something to read but I loved beings surrounded by fashionistas in the know.! I prefer the one in SoHo, which seems smaller but has a way better location for me and way better lighting!! Yvonne gave me a fabulous deep conditioner, sectioning my hair and letting it sit for thirty minutes. When I walked out my hair felt like silk and the blow dry will easily last five days. Plus I felt so cosseted in the atmosphere. Definitely will be going back again and again!! Thank you for actually making beauty affordable. Also noticed a lot of long haired women so they know what they are doing!!!

After touring other schools, Arrojo without a doubt, was the best choice for me and my future career.

I’m currently near the end of stage one at the TriBeCa location, and I’ve already learned so much. The staff is incredibly supportive and encouraging. The students are also super supportive. It’s a great school and the education is worth every dollar compared to other schools. I am very happy to be apart of the Arrojo team.

The atmosphere is very outgoing, cheerful and high end. It inspires me to reach higher standards that I could not achieve without the proper guidance of the friendly instructors. The faculty treat students as part of the family which allows me to realize I am not alone, we are in this together to the finish line. Im so proud to be a student at Arrojo Cosmetology school.

I just recently graduated from arrojo cosmetology school and I can honestly say it has been the best 7 months. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. This school is feels like home!

Im already studying at Arrojo for about 2 mouths and I love it ! The teachers are amazing and the facilities is beautiful!! I had no problem to understand program ( English my second language) .
