This school discriminates kids with an IEP!First they said he was accepted then they I called and they said to email them his IEP and that she thinks all the IEP slots were taken that first they had to see it. The way I took that was that according to what she reading his IEP he was going to get accepted.Ten minutes later she called me that there were not accepting more students with an IEP. My son felt really bad.

Since the schools opening in 2006, I have seen significant changes made. The staff members have a genuine interest in the education of their students. All students are able to express their creativity through various programs involving art, cooking, and pop culture. With large classrooms, sports teams, and teachers who are enthusiastic about their work, ALL students will feel like theyre part of the family.

Terrible. The majority of the staff in here are racist. They only choose faviorates and ignore the ones that truly need help. They punish you for ridiculous reasons. They never let the student stand up for themselves because if you do, the teachers take it as talking back. If your ever thinking about coming here, forget about it. This school will just waste your time and life. And also there has been an incident where somebody brang a machete and no one noticed.

NEW HEIGHTS ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL has a great and free education. If you mind your own business all is well. The school is way too strict. If you sag in school you get detention. They also have a count system. One count is a warning. Two counts is a reflection. Three counts is restitution which is staying after school with a teacher. Four counts is a Detention. Sometimes you serve detention during recess. For recess everyone goes to the park. On Thursday during gym you go to the park. The food is disgusting. If you curse you get detention. Im a 5th grader and this school isnt the best but has way better acedimic education
