We had such a wonderful experience with Andrey preparing for the first dance at our wedding. He is a very talented dancer and choreographer, but also an amazing teacher. We were complete newbies and he guided us all the way up to having an amazing performance that we received many genuine compliments on. Our lessons actually turned into very fun date nights where we would go out after and discuss what we learned and what to practice! Overall, I would recommend Andrey for any dance needs - NYC Is lucky to have him!

My fiancé and I signed up for dance lessons with Andrey to help us prepare our first dance. Before our lesson, we were not optimistic about our dancing skills: I had minor ballet experience from when I was young, and I play music (so I can keep a beat), but that’s about it; my husband had absolutely no rhythm. We wanted to do a Viennese waltz.Some may have thought it impossible: Not Andrey. I am amazed by how much we’ve improved. With his encouraging and professional teaching style, Andrey makes us both feel less awkward while dancing. He’s also great at choreography, considerate of what “moves” we feel comfortable doing. I definitely recommend Andrey to couples who want to do a lot more than “sway” for their first dance, but have a long way to go!

Andrey is a wonderful teacher, kind, thoughtful, prepared and just all around excellent. He taught us various dances and knew exactly how to make things challenging yet doable and fun. He has great music. He has a wonderful kind demeanor and is so fun to work with. We loved every second! High recommend for an event or just for fun or to learn how to dance. I cannot say enough positive things about Andrey. We found him with a simple google search and after a quick phone call I knew he would be the right fit for us. I explained how my (now) husband and I were not experienced dancers and are very out of touch when it comes to having any type of rhythm and coordination. Before we event met, he said no problem. He was so incredibly flexible with his schedule and extremely quick to respond. Once we met him his cool personality and suave dance moves kept us coming back. He helped us pick a song and alter it to our needs. He never once made us feel uncomfortable with our dance abilities nor penalized us when we told him we didnt have time to practice. He was understanding and cooperative throughout our 8 lessons and when we said a dance move seemed too difficult, he had a back up already lined up for us. Andrey helped us achieve exactly what we wanted... a beautiful, simple, choreographed tango that surprised all our family guests. We looked like flawless professionals on the dance floor (compared to our previous dancing abilities) and the feeling of excitement and happiness upon completing our first dance is a memory I will always cherish. My now husband and I wanted a first dance that was more than just swaying back and forth to a slow song. We had about 5 lessons with Andrey, and he choreographed a spectacular first dance that blew our guests away! He has a gift of being extremely patient and accommodating. We chose a new song about half way into our lessons, and he immediately adjusted the tempo/choreography to better match our new song. We loved the lessons so much that we plan on continuing lessons just for fun.

Had a great lesson with Andrey! My wife has been wanting to learn to waltz, so we took a 2 hour lesson and had a blast. Andrey was a great teacher! He was patient with us but pushed us to learn what we could, and even though the dance was tough, he made it fun! I had SO MUCH FUN taking lessons from Andrey. My fiancé and I took 4 lessons in anticipation of our wedding. Andrey helped us create a beautiful, refined dance for our first dance. Strongly recommended ! I started taking private lessons with Andrey about a year ago. I was initially focused on ballroom dancing, however with time, I expanded my lessons to Latin - with rumba and salsa in particular. Later, my boyfriend joined me for the lessons. Andrey was very accommodating and came to our place for the couples lessons due to time constrain. We cannot be happier with our decision to hire Andrey! We were not sure what to expect when we first showed up for our first wedding lesson, but I must say our dance instructor Andrey made us feel very comfortable. We really enjoyed practicing for our first dance with andrei. he was funny but we still learned a lot. we had about 11 classes with him and that was more than enough to choreograph an acceptable first dance. he gives good critique and takes his job seriously but knows how to have fun.

As i was trying different studios around manhattan i realize that they are not the same ! I found mine ;-) This studio is pleasant and very private no other couples on the dance floor and you can use music anytime ! My instructor was all any student can ask for . Totally worth checking it .
