I loved it. Classes are small and teacher is excellent.

I was very fortunate to find this place. The school offers variety of classes, workshops and lectures. From beginner level to advanced. Its been a blessing during the pandemic. Highly recommend.

Bellyqueens Zoom classes and fantastic instructors have been THE silver lining for me during the pandemic! I was roughly intermediate level ~ 15 years ago before taking a break, and Bellyqueen has helped me rediscover my love of bellydancing. Each instructor has their own style and all have a deep understanding of dance, and I feel fortunate that they have so many classes while Im stuck at home!Bellyqueen has done a superb job of figuring out ways to keep everyone dancing together in this new environment, and I am really impressed. The instructors effectively communicate how moves should feel (which is how I learn best), and their positivity has been very uplifting! The feedback I have received during their classes has been so valuable, and they have really helped me improve. Their focus on their students in the winter showcase was amazing to watch with each student getting highlighted in the compilations.I highly recommend Bellyqueen for anyone that wants to improve their technique, musicality and understanding of bellydance!

I have studying with bellyqueen since feb. 27, 2012. The teachers are excellent. They have a wide selection of classes in dance but also in Arabic, drumming and zills. There is also Pure which helps you grow using communication, dance, and books. There are performances as a group, soloist and students show cases. The price is reasonable.

I love their classes...the instructors are all patient and wonderful. The virtual classes kept me sane during quarantine!

I love the classes and teachers at Belly Queen. I especially like how different teachers add their own style to the techniques and movements. This is a great place to learn and have fun.

Taking dance classes at Bellyqueen has been an experience so much greater than simply taking a class. I have become part of a community, had performance opportunities, expanded my own performance skills, discipline, as well as a holistic approach to dance and performance that goes beyond the studio and into every day life.

For now i like their classes!

My experience at belly Queen was not as I had hoped it would be perhaps there were too many expectations as I was signing up for the beginners class. This is a review after 3 sessions with 3 different instructors. Although the instructors are all beautiful charismatic dancers whom clearly know belly dance techic, it is the inability to do just that instruct on a beginners level that put me off about the place. Perhaps because have taken belly dance before on a beginners level that I have made this comparison but personally I feel that due to the fact that the majority of beginner classes are usually filled with learners that have been taking their classes for a while , instructors tend to disregard those whom have just entered. This makes it very difficult and ultimately discouraging to learn, a beginners class should be a place that nurtures and challenges just that the beginners not a practice session for an experienced dancer. Also they do not take the time to ask if anyone may need further clarification on a move, and furthermore it can be difficult to find a place with in the studio that you feel comfortable in because instructors rotate the class constantly which may work for some but not for me. Overall I believe it is a great place for experienced belly dancers to bulit a connections and further their craft but it is in no way a place to start.

BellyQueen is an exceptional school of bellydance offering many different styles on the highest level of instruction. Technique, variety, professionalism, community, this is a very special place for ALL of it!
