I loved this school I had lovely memories as a student here lovely teachers at the time it was The Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities H.S..... class of 02 I had fun out through my freshman & senior year! Im glad that I went here if I didnt I wouldnt meet my boyfriend here.... those was great memories of my high school years!

Went here in the 80s. The school then taught classes in typewriting as they didnt have many computers yet. Had my bike stolen here. A collage I made for for a us history class, and which I hoped to get back, was stolen off a wall (I guess somebody really liked it); most teachers cared, but the students didnt really care. I remember there was a substitute chem teacher, ex pastor, whom the entire class decided to simply walk out on. Lots of cheating among the higher graded classes as those kids wanted to get into the good colleges. Student body was highly stratified among social, academic, and racial lines.

I went to school there when it was Charles Evans Hughes HS back in late 1960 and early 1970s. It wasreally bad, gangs, drugs and it was very hard to learn.Only a handful of teachers were ok, like Mrs. H., she was my mentor, I have never forgotten her and never will. I wish her well and much happiness, God Bless.
