I’ve worked with 3 instructors so far, all of whom have been brilliant teachers as well as just great people & i’ve learned way more than I ever could have on my own.I also appreciate the community vibe from all the extras (open houses, discord, 343 TV, etc) and have made some good friends & collaboration buddies. I took the Ableton Immersive course in person with Justin. He was GREAT. Justin is very passionate about music and very knowledgeable and articulate in the way he teaches. I am a complete beginner with Ableton, and I feel like I finished the class with a good base in understanding the program and how to navigate it. I recommend this course.

I took the summer intensive, had a fantastic time and learned lots. I had allot of trouble starting with ableton just because of the programs massive size. After the month long course, I was able to understand the program and how to use it. Very much worth it for me! The instructor was great and the class was taught in a structured but also open ended manner.

I started taking classes at 343 with very little background in music production and found their programs incredibly helpful. Great courses, wonderful instructors who clearly have tremendous experience in the field, and very focused curricula. Strongly recommend it!

I started taking attending 343 Labs April 2020 around the time that quarantine started and I can honestly say that it’s been absolutely pivotal in my growth as an independent musician. The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful with several years of experience to back it up. I know that for some people that cost can be deterrent but in comparison to traditional college tuition, it is unbelievably much more affordable and accessible; and payment plans are available. This has been worth every penny and the best decision I could make in improving my skillset.

I love taking classes with 343 Labs. I started in 2019, completely fresh. I knew nothing about production or music! If youre serious about pursuing music production and want to make an investment in yourself, 343 labs was a great place for me to start my journey and figure out what I want to do.It really feels like a community here. The teachers know thier stuff; John Selway and Abe Duque teach here.I took the 2 Ableton Live classes along with Synthesizers for producers. These classes gave me a pretty good grounding in these tools. Its also helped me navigate the technical depth in this industry.Solid investment for me!

I cannot say enough good things about our experiences with 343 Labs!My teenage son has spent two summers in the 343 Labs summer program (in person last year and online this year) and absolutely loved it.The instructors are all experienced professionals who are equally gifted teachers.My son loves music production (hes a very advanced student and practitioner for his age) and hes learned so much in the program. Weve found 343 Labs to be a nurturing, educational and fun environment that has had extremely positive influence on his development and joy of making music. Everyone at 343 Labs has been incredibly supportive of my son and gone out of their way to stay connected, continually encouraging his development in the most generous and sincere fashion.I should also mention that the facilities are fantastic if you plan to attend in person, but they also do a magnificent job teaching their courses online. Music production is well suited to teaching remotely and with so many activities cancelled now due to COVID its wonderful to have an activity that my son can participate in remotely.We are so happy to be part of the 343 community and I wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering taking classes at 343 Labs to do so.They are the real deal.

343 Labs is a generous community of educators and learners. I joined the sample and beat challenges at the recently concluded 343 events, and learned a whole lot from the process and the events were organized masterfully. Esteemed musicians judged the challenges and it was lovely to listen to the submissions of other wonderful artists. They also host a lot of activities like feedback sessions, performance nights, and interviews with great artists. They are really trying to build a supportive community.Also the Live 11 handbook and their Youtube channel provide a wide array of resources to learn music production FOR FREE! But of course, nothing beats taking actual classes. Im currently based in the Philippines but when this pandemic finally settles, I will definitely consider flying to experience their classes face-to-face. Will check out their awesome onlline classes for now :)

343 Labs is not only a great school with amazing instructors, but also a great community on both YouTube and Discord. They live stream on their channel daily on various topics regarding music production. Its unbelievable the amount of stuff I learned from these FREE lessons! Not to mention the extremely fun contests and events they host on the regular, as well as their amazing giveaways (I won an Arturia plugin worth 200€). Highly recommend these guys!

Since I discovered them 7 months ago, I’ve been going to their monthly events around Ableton user group meetups, electronic open mics, techno production, track feedback sessions, and more. The founder, Max Wild, is supportive, knowledgeable, and really cares about creating an immersive and connected community. 343 Labs’ instructors and team are friendly, helpful, and are genuine. I started learning with 343 Labs in 2020 as an online student. I was initially attracted to 343 from the large volume of high quality content they publish on their YouTube channel and quickly learned that I could adapt that content around my class. I also learned about their live streams and became more active in them because of their Discord server. With being stuck inside a lot, the time I used to spend at my local bicycle co-op working on bikes and helping people was diminishing and I realized I wasnt socializing much. The 343 community is highly inclusive and a friendly place for everyone.I really think they hit the ground running with online classes and they put a lot of value to the classes they offer. While Im taking a 12 week class, they offer pro sessions (which I have since attended one) and other classes of varying costs and time commitments in between. I believe there is something here for any aspiring music producer or curious person in general.The 343 community has already become a virtual third place for me, something to escape work and home/rest. Ive been a daily part of the 343 Discord server as well as weekly livestreams and Ive been relishing in the positivity and warmth that this community offers to newcomers. If you have a question about music, no matter your skill level, there are plenty of people here that are downright excited to help. And there are brilliant people part of this community! Some Ive followed on YouTube for a while before realizing they were part of 343. 343Labs is just what NYC needed. Great community of artists and music makers run by an all-star team of teachers and staff. Their classes are small and personal, and can really help any student, no matter their experience, level up in their craft. Theyre super inclusive and also partner with big companies like Arturia, Ableton, Splice, etc. With COVID limitations, theyve moved online, and have somehow managed to continue to offer an engaging learning experience.

343 Labs has immensely helped me make progress in my music since I started attending events there about a year ago. The variety and quality of events they have is excellent. Aside from classes, there are lectures, Ableton User Groups, open mic showcases and track feedback sessions where producers can get notes on tracks theyre working on. 343 has also gone above and beyond by fostering a musician community. Having a nurturing group of others also developing their craft is incredibly important for anyone who is a bedroom producer. Highly recommended for anyone producing electronic music, but there is a lot to gain if youre working in other genres as well!

Great teachers at 343! They really know the in-depth knowledge to help take your music production to the next level. Ive taken in person classes and online classes and benefited from both greatly. 343 also has feedback sessions which are awesome. Both online and in person classes are fun and a perk that comes along with online classes is the recording of each session so you can rewatch any class you take!

I moved from France just to take the classes and dont regret my decision. The teachers are high level, we were only 3/4 students on each class, and it really pushed me to learn hards things that i would never have bothered self teaching. I really saw the value of going to a physical location for discipline purpose. Also Berlin is the place to be for networking. And networking is 50% of the job!Thanks Max, keep it up!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience at 343 labs. Instructors are incredibly talented and knowledgeable. Class sizes are small enough that you get a ton of personalized attention and you can learn from the other students work as well. No matter what kind of music you want to make, instructors and classmates offer super valuable feedback.If youve ever thought about learning how to make electronic music or getting a more intimate understanding of Ableton, Logic, mixing/mastering, etc (they have tons of different courses) I cant think of a better place.

I have taken 2 courses at 343 Labs and I am definitely happy I did. Ive been wanting to make a career as a producer/dj for the past two years now, and 343 has helped me bring my production skills to the next level. The teachers are not only qualified to teach each of their subjects, but they are also out there doing it on their own independently, which has been super helpful to me. The classes are small and intimate so you can get all of your questions answered and work closely with the teacher. If you want to step up your music producing skills or just take a class for fun I strongly recommend 343 Labs.

The courses are excellent. Instructors are expert, personable, inspiring. I signed up for the Master Program and took 4. Its great to meet other musicians and learn together for our different styles. This continues in the community events like feedback sessions and performances. The team works so hard to create this and its great to be a part of!

I took a both a 2-day and 5-day intensive online course in Logic Pro X with Brent Arnold. I really appreciated the comprehensive overview of Logic’s deep feature set. I entered the course with no knowledge of Logic, and after both courses I feel empowered to create and take a track through completion using these tools. I appreciated Brent’s easygoing teaching style and depth of knowledge, as well.

They have been monumental in my development when it comes to music composition and production.Their staff are Ableton-Certified professionals and their knowledge is second to none.During COVID, they have been doing FREE workshops on their YouTube channel - 343 Labs TV - essentially to give you a taste of what you can learn through being part of the 343 community.I cannot recommend these guys enough.

I took an Intro to Ableton Live course to learn production. As a very fresh producer and DJ I was able to accelerate my learning of the tool and make progress in finding my sound. The instruction was particularly notable – the community format is great for getting feedback on material, and works well especially for those who learn best in an interactive environment.
