Bloomingdale is really dedicated to the mission of providing Music education for anyone who wants it. I love the fact that we provide financial aid and work really closely with faculty and families to customize learning to meet different needs. I just celebrated my first year at Bloomingdale and its a great work environment to be apart of.

My son took early childhood music classes here when he was a toddler and now takes piano with Olga Gurevich. Really friendly atmosphere and lots of opportunities for kids to perform in a supportive setting. Appealing old building. Teachers have been terrific. Olga is great, patient but also pushes the right amount, and always remembers to help him enjoy the music. Highly recommend.

Wonderful teachers, in a charming townhouse. Very much a neighborhood feel, with very high NYC music standards. My 3 kids have all attended, and it continues to be a terrific resource for teachers, concerts and neighborhood engagement!

I received the Project Bridge scholarship and I studied with my amazing teacher Ms Alicia Bennett on clarinet for all 4 years of my high school career. I’m so thankful for this school and staff, specifically Ms Erika, Ms Kaoru, Mr Bennett and Ms Bennett, for always pushing me and helping me become the musician I am today.

This school is very family friendly! When you enter the building you feel welcomed and comfortable! It’s a very clean school and staff is very professional at what they do! This school is probably the best music school ever!

It would be my dream to study at this magnificient school ..only if somebody would sponsor me to do so ...id be willing to give everything for it ..

Excellent music school. I studied voice and music theory for several semesters at this school, and I am very satisfy with what I learned. They have excellent teachers and very friendly and helpful staff. My favorite voice teacher was Alycia Lee; she is an excellent teacher.

Our son.has been at Bloomingdale for over ten years. The quality of the teaching staff is outstanding, with a deep bench that made it easy to find the right teacher.

I studied guitar at the school for years. Amazing! Very well known jazz faculty (saxophonist Daniel Bennett, Nick Finzer, Michael Cochrane etc). Highly recommended!
