My instructor was Lee. She was really funny and nice. Made the 6 hour course (minus lunch) go by really quickly. Extremely well at engaging others and definitely will be going again in two years.

I had a great experience getting my Lifeguard and CPR certification. My instructor (Katelin) was an amazing help at relearning the skills needed to complete my lifeguard training. I had already been a lifeguard back in 2010 on and off until 2019 and this course was the perfect refresher I needed before working as a lifeguard again.

One of the best CPR / BLS courses I have ever taken because its so comprehensive yet enjoyable. The location is a little bit hard to find so read the directions

For those who need this for hospital credentialing - be aware this course is NOT AHA accredited. I had to take the entire course over again at an AHA accredited place the following week.The class itself was fine and covered the same information (although most instructors I’ve had in the past for a skills only session haven’t gone through the entire course slide by slide again even though everyone had to take and pass the didactic portion beforehand).

Wow! As an ARC certification I expected the instructor would be professional. O. Pineda was demeaning and barked at the class. This was a blended learning class, and I disclosed my anxiety, especially with regards to testing situations. He did nothing but undermine my confidence. Others made errors, but I felt that I was singled out. Ive been a life guard for 6 years. I absolutely understand that there is a standard which must be met. My experience with ARC instructors has always been extremely positive. I was able to support a classmate with severe learning challenges so that he could pass, in the past. Todays class was not inclusive, not supportive, not a good experience. I dont feel respected. Especially during Covid, I expected more from Aquatic Solutions. I would give zero stars if it were an option, would not recommend this facility.Edit: Red Cross is about respect. Oscar was rude, demeaning, humiliating. There is a way to talk to people. The way Oscar treated us like he was above us and looking down on us. This is not what Red Cross is about. Ill be contacting Red Cross about this and leave a review on Yelp and BBB. People need to know how rude Oscar was.

I took the Red Cross lifeguard course with my cousin. We both had Rosalia as our instructor and she was very informative and friendly. She was very experienced and definitely reviewed all materials thoroughly. She helps build your confidence with the training and you go through each rescue till youre comfortable.Rosalia made sure that when everyone was outside of the pool, to have their mask on. This made us feel safe and, COVID was taken seriously.Overall, Im really happy that I chose Aquatic Solutions to take my lifeguard certification and that Rosalia was my instructor/proctor.

I needed to get my adult-pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification for work and the course went really smoothly and Jeremy was super helpful and engaging! you get your certification emailed to you as soon as you finish the course so that was very convenient as well, will def be back in 2 years :)

I got my CPR/AED/First Aid certification here and my instructor Li was fantastic. She was extremely kind, knowledgable, and compassionate. She helped make sure that I was prepared and confident and completed the training efficiently and without leaving anything out. As someone with severe health anxiety, the location was well-prepared for Covid regulations and easily adapted the curriculum to promote the safety of everyone involved. This was in person skills session. Instructor was inpatient and was on the cell phone most part. At a point she threatened to fail us at the challenge. i did not like her demeanor at all. unfortunately i forgot her name.

Our instructor Rosalea, was very thorough, friendly and efficient. She worked with everybody, answered all questions and made sure everyone was comfortable with the material. Also is was important for me, as a non-native English speaker, that she spoke every word loud and clear even with the mask on. She not only trained me well, she also helped me be more confident that I can really be a first responder. Thank you and Happy New Year!

First time taking a CPR/ First Aid class and it was pretty amazing. Yuraisi was the absolute best. She made everyone feel very comfortable and made the course very easy to understand. She was very helpful with performing the demonstrations and making sure we all understood how to perform the demonstrations before moving forward. An amazing instructor and person all around. She’s very knowledgeable which is always a plus. She was very open to questions and answered each one. The class was very organized and went a nice pace. I would definitely recommend Yuraisi and I would definitely take another course with her if she was the instructor. Thanks Yuraisi! You made this experience very fun and easy going. It is very hard to find the office, I scheduled the course and was late a few minutes because this training place has no obvious door/sign to get in. The instructor asked me to reschedule.I got email later asking me to pay the course fee again. I didn’t go and I don’t recommend this location to anyone.I will schedule another location/company for the training.

My 14 year old son and I completed the Adult-Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course on Saturday and it was a great experience. Our instructor, Jeremy, was knowledgable, experienced, and engaging. Some of my colleagues and I took (and passed) the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor training this week and, looking back, even though it might have seemed like it was a lot crammed into three days, our instructor Oscar REALLY made the best of the time we had in the pool and at lectures. We learned so much from him and he was clear and concise when assessing us throughout the training that we really picked up on the areas we needed to improve on. It was also very motivating and reassuring to us that he had a very positive approach for everything. He was really very good at his job.(One recommendation for anyone that needs to take the training: it is VERY IMPORTANT to put in the time to prepare for each day of the training!)

Today as of 10/24/2020, I have taken in class Red Cross Basic Life Support and CPR training with Aquatic Solutions. The instructor was great, he provided us with clear instruction. we practiced CPR as a team, we also had one-on one practice like how to provide CPR on a patient when you are alone and lack of resources are available. I got my certificate during COVID and could not have felt safer. This class was socially distanced, they made accommodations for us by providing gloves and modifying the group work, and it was a limited class size. The instructor was very informative, overall a great experience. I recommend blended learning classes.

I love this company. Ive taken CPR with them, gave my daughter a pool party with their help, my wife went with her company to take CPR/First Aid, and have also sent my young-teen daughter for a babysitting course with them. My wife, and daughter and I both felt (in our respective classes) that our instructors actually gave a damn, and were easy to understand. They were thorough, and made sure that everyone understood what was going on.If you like to treat yourself well and go with the best, this is the one. A friend of mine did infant CPR with a competitor of AS, and their experience was surprisingly poor. But hey... sometimes, you get what you pay for!

I took Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. We were only 4 students to maintain social distance and all the mannequins used are clean and sanitized. Our instructor was Oscar. He explained everything clearly and was friendly. The class was fun and informative, I definitely would recommend it.

First time experience with Aquatic Solutions. My son turned 16 in the summer, but due to COVID restrictions, was having a hard time finding a lifeguard course. Finally found Aquatic Solutions after an internet search. My son just completed the blended course at Freeport over the Christmas break. He said the instructors were great and he really was able to learn because the class size was small. He passed and cant wait to start lifeguarding this summer. Totally recommend Aquatic Solutions!

Hello, Jeremy? Its been a week since I finished the class with you and I still did not receive anything on my email yet. Ive sent out couple of emails and made a phone call to the center after 3 days of the class. Still came up with nothing. Where do I speak to now???? I feel like I flushed my $90 into the toilet++ it seems like you made a typo with my email. I could not find it by my email on the website neither could find anything on my spam. I did find and get my certificate by name and date search tho.

Aquatic Solutions was very communicative and really remarkably helpful when I had to reschedule my CPR certification. When I was finally able to take the class, the instructor was concise and did his best to adjust the class to social distancing and COVID precautions.

This was a great inteoductory course to First Aid/CPR. Jeremy the instructor was thorough and personable, imparting not only the step by step procedure but also scenarios he’d lived through in demonstrating how to think and act when you find yourself in the position of helping someone in real danger. Strongly recommend.

I found their level of incompetence staggering if not bizarre. I felt morally obliged to report this operation to the American Red Cross after having served as an ocean rescuer for over 30 years. There are more professional options out there.

Took a cpr course, and it’s probably the easiest one i’ve taken so far. the instructor was clear and thorough, checking each individual’s position and compressions and redirecting them to ensure proper technique.

Do yourself a favor and dont get involved with these people, their level of incompetence is bizarre. I spent 4 hours watching a guy try and figure out how show a video. If he hadnt borrowed a students cable adaptor for the attempt I dont what the hell we would have done. They made damn sure you paid for everything before you left though.

You can’t tell by their website which uses photos of not their facilities— so good luck trying to find a nonexistent location on the morning of your class!!They COULD tell you that they actually just borrowed a basement room inside a Chinatown housing project > inside the gated community > inside the projects’ residential senior citizens swim club called Seahorse.You really feel like you walked into some private community facilities’s back doorThere are NO SIGNS telling you where to go. You’re lucky if the gate attendant can tell if you’re lost or if one of the kids playing basketball decide to say something.They don’t even have their own sign with their business name nor logo - which would cost them like $20 to print!Pay attention to the other reviews on here of all the other people complaining about their NO REFUND POLICY. it’s not even that, it’s that if you can’t find the hidden facility by the time your class starts, you will NOT BE ALLOWED TO START (depending on the instructor, so it’s a complete grab bag)Basically they scam people out of their money by giving you misleading pictures and then penalizing you on arrival. Easy business model.You should expect a lot more or giving somebody $130.Lastly— this is ethically problematic- they tell you toward the end of the course BEFORE YOU ARE GIVEN A PASS to leave a good review. So COUGH, FYI just keep that in mind when you look at the “good reviews” on here.Imagine all the legit yoga classes you could’ve taken, but no — you had a fast one pulled over you.

Over the last 10 years I have taken the Red Cross Lifeguard Renewal Course 4 different times with Aquatic Solutions and have found the course instructors and content to be satisfactory.

I took the CPR & First-Aid Adult/Pediatric course with Jeremy.Elsewhere, Ive taken this class multiple times so far, about five.If youve stumbled upon this review, look no further. This was the BEST CPR class Ive ever taken. Their blended learning program really saves time and forces you to learn without too much boring repetition once you get to class.Jeremy explained the information in a concise and condensed manner. He was very informative and was able to answer all my questions on the side. I learned more in this CPR course than all my other previous CPR courses.The assistant he had (with glasses), was able to portray a choking victim and injured victim well, therefore, I felt a real sense of urgency that I was actually attending to someones choking hazards and injuries.The dummies at Aquatic Solutions are also the most modern Ive seen. In my previous classes, students were able to get away and pass with doing sub-par chest compressions for CPR. Their modern dummy forces the rescuer to give true compressions, similar to a real-life scenario. I believe this is very important, the difference between correct and incorrect compressions, could be life or death.Looking forward to re-certifying here in the future!

Took the American Red Cross Instructor Class for FA/CPR/AED and I had Oscar as my Instructor Trainer. I learned so much. I am so glad that I first took the base level class with them. I had Rosalia during my base level class. She was also amazing and very will informed. This definitely prepared me to be able to teach. Would highly recommend Aquatic Solutions. I am now teaching this at my school to help teach this important skill.

I took their Adult and pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid class. The instructors were good and it was great to get practice at the skills we learned. We had a kind of big class (Saturday) so we had a couple of instructors helping us during the hands on portions. Would get certified with them again.

Yurise was a great instructor! I was late to the first class I signed up for (MTA troubles), but was able to reschedule and they waived the rescheduling fee even though the class had already started.
