Great family run organization and excellent teaching team. We have been involved for a few months to date and have enjoyed the training, fitness and confidence gained through Omaha Blue Waves. My kids started lessons and shortly after I was training as well. There is something for all ages and abilities. Staff and student instructors here are great. Very exciting atmosphere for kids. A fun learning experience for our son. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get into martial arts.

Great southwest location. As a massage therapist, wonderful place to take a continuing education class. Tables are available so I dont need to bring mine which is really nice. Michele is very knowledgeable and keeps class sizes small for an intimate learning environment.

Where do I even start, Omaha Blue waves Fitness has been AMAZING the last year and half. They provide great classes that range from Bootcamps, to belly dancing, kickboxing to insanity class plus more! I enjoy that I am able to get one pass and go to ANY of the classes that are offered during the week. The staff always makes the classes fun and challenging. I absolutely love this place and what it has done for me physically and mentally. The groups are small enough and you dont feel like you have to keep up with everyone. When I see what I have accomplished in the last year and a half, it still amazes me. From losing 45+ pounds, to being able to conquer boot camps, to running a 5k for the first time, I feel healthier, fit and have made wonderful friends with the group. It is about you and what your goals are and from the participants to the staff they want the best for you. The personal touch is what I needed and I am grateful to the team for helping me along the way. There are classes 6 days of the week between Boot Camps, Cardio Kickboxing, Yoga and Hit-Fit and it gives you a great variety of workouts. And that doesnt even include all the martial arts classes that are available!Also, their massage therapy is phenomenal, from getting a relaxing massage to really working on those knots or chronic areas, they will take care of you!I would recommend Omaha Blue Waves if you are looking for a good workout place and new family!

I am continually impressed with all aspects of my Sons personal development since he started taking classes at Omaha Blue Waves. He’s been involved in other sports, and though he enjoyed them, the lessons he learned never extended much past the physical activity. The classes at Omaha Blue Waves reinforce respect, courtesy, self-control and personal responsibility. Having just come from my Son’s parent teacher conference, Im pleased to say those lessons have followed him into the schoolroom.All that being said, my Son loves taking classes at Omaha Blue Waves and he’s always happy to see the friends he’s made there. I went recently to Michele Helaney at Omaha Blue Waves Massage and was completely satisfied with her professionalism as well as thoroughness. The massage was described as medical in nature and was much more advanced than a spa type massage. Her pressure was excellent and did not make me painful the next day unlike other deep tissue massages that I have experienced. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

This is the second martial arts school that I have taken my children to. The first one made us sign a long contract, made us lots of promises, and delivered on nothing. I was hesitant to take them anywhere else because of the bad experience. I took a chance on Omaha Blue Waves because of a friends referral and I am really glad that I did. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. It is obvious they care about what they do and about the students they teach. You have to experience it to really get it. Omaha Blue Waves is a wonderful place for martial arts, fitness and massage. My son started Tae Kwon Do here in September of 2011, I started fitness classes in January of 2012, have done both group classes and private fitness training as well as massage therapy. Fun classes in an awesome family environment and all of the instructors really care about the students both young and adult. They want to see people succeed no matter what their goals. I cannot imagine my son or myself going anywhere else.

Great group of instructors and students. GM Helaney hosts one of the USAs best tournaments. Ive attended a Shiatsu seminar and it was the best massage training Ive ever received. TOP-NOTCH!

My son has been attending martial arts at OBW now for 4 years. We started him at the age of 6 to help him with focus and respect.
