I moved to Orlando from NYC when my fiancé was hired to work here. I was looking for a barber school and found Easy Hair online. Ms. Lee is so sweet and her school was really affordable and conveniently located. The program is very hands on. People walk in everyday for cuts and Ms. Lee puts you right to it, guiding you through as needed. You need the real life experience for barbering anyway, the mannequin does not do clipper work justice, so I really liked that approach to learning. Thank you Ms. Lee!

I came into this salon for a haircut from Mrs Lee after searching for a place to get my hair cut regularly for years in the area. i have gone from barbershop to salon; regularly disappointed. I took my mom to her salon this morning doing some style cut & hair coloring. She did a fabulous job. My mom loves it so much. She also gives me some advice about hair coloring that fit my moms face. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone, especially Asian folks. I think her salon is on remodel. Thats why its a little bit busy and messy. Overall, everything is awesome!

I just read your reply to my message. I have never in my life, from California to Texas to here in Florida ever had such a horrible experience getting my hair done. My son had to drive me to the interview the next day, and as soon as I got home the ice packs were put right back on my head again. Everything I wrote is true. I did not leave with a smile on my face at all. Thats just ridiculous.I just went in to get my roots dyed. I even brought my own dye, because its really gentle. Ms. Lee left the mixture on way too long, plus she ripped out my hair combing the mixture down my hair, which wasnt supposed to be done at all, since I was just wanting my roots done. I screamed and asked her what she was doing. She rinsed out the mixture hurting my scalp so much, when this part of the experience is usually heaven with my head getting massaged. Not here....felt like she would draw blood. Anyway, my scalp was burned so bad it hurt for days, and my hair that I had spent 9 years growing out, all broke off and whats left of it is paper thin. I had only gone to her because I had an interview the next day, and my usual place didnt have time. The interview was terrible, because my scalp hurt, and my hair was awful. When I went back there after my interview, she wouldnt admit she did anything wrong, and was going to give me some conditioner. I said conditioner for what little hair I have left. She charged me full price for a hair dye, because she was the owner, and she finally refunded it, but my hair is gone. Update four months later...my hair is to my shoulders now. It had been half way down my back, but I had to cut it short, because it was so damaged and broken. She was just supposed to do my roots, and Ive used the same product every time, and its never stung my scalp before.

I had the student cut my hair the first time. $8 is a very attractive price especially theres few barbers in town cut decently for Asian people. The second time I was asking for student haircut the same student did my hair has graduated and was no longer there. Amy, I believe, is one of the professional barbers and charged for $15, and I was very satisfied. It is not easy to get a perfect haircut and Amy nailed it! As she pointed out, the way my hair grows is unique, and the standard cut by many others is mediocre at best. She really understands the art of haircut and tailored it to look best on me. If you are hesitated to have the student haircut, I highly recommend the professional ones, and you can tell the difference right way.

Before today, I havent gotten a haircut since November since I was trying to grow my hair back out. Today Laura cut my hair and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it. I needed 200 hours to get my Florida barber license and this was the most affordable in town. There is a lot of hands on training which is the only way to get good. Miss Lee is a character and a lot of fun.

Having Ms. Lee as my hairdresser for over 6 years was amazing . I sort of developed a bond with her like a sister . She has the best updated technique in hairstyling . She is not over priced. I love the way she styles my hair and will never find and attempt to go to another hairdresser . She is also a very good teacher . Heads up to all Asian to be aware, Ms Lee don’t do Asians hair cut, she just keep saying asian’s hair cut is very hard then just shave my entire head instead a fade, I’ll say even the student at there did the better job (the student cut my hair first then she’s mad then take over me), and when she using the brush to clean my neck and face was very rough, I feel very uncomfortable. In the end she wants to charge me 20 instead of 10 ($8 by sign and $2 for shampoo) okay fine, here you go, I won’t go back. And it’s just my personal experience to share with you public.

My barber took his time and went the extra mile for my haircut! He was very polite, and had the confidence in his skills to the point that I was completely satisfied with his work! He made my job interview that afternoon a success!!!! Thank You for turning a $5 cut into a Million Dollar success!!!!

I was extremely pissed when Ms Lee insist on having a non- English speaking student, Paris, trim my hair. I asked him to wet my hair for an even trim but Ms. Lee was too cheap to waste a drip of water on my hair. He kept razor shaving off all my ends. Since then I cannot get my hair to lay or style properly. This is the worst cut I ever had!!! Its a horrible experience to be communicating and your stylist nor his teacher has no idea what you want. I became more pissed when Ms. Cheap Lee charged me a fee to use my debit card. I left Paris a tip but I will never recommend anyone to go to this worthless place of coldness and horrible customer service. Pay your money and get a real hair stylist, its not worth it!!

Very great establishment and school. I learned all different types of haircut on different types of ethnicities. It really focuses on hands on practice. I am now working at 3n1 hair barber and nails barber shop and doing great.

Easy barber school change my life,I learnt so much.I am currently employed in a barbershop making $30 a hair cut and moving forward to opening up my own barbershop.

I went in for eye brow and lip waxing and I asked the woman who runs it how much it was and she said $8. She then had me wait 5 minutes so that she could microwave the wax which I did not expect at all. Im used to going to get waxing and only being there for 3 min at the most. She then took a razor to my eyebrows and that was an not what I asked for, I asked for wax not for her to put a blade to my eyebrows. And when she did it she didnt even put any water or cream on them to protect my skin so now I have razor burns on my eyebrows. She didnt even do the middle part at all she just left me with a unibrow. When the wax was finally done melting she didnt put anything on my lip to protect my skin and put excessive amounts of the wax that peels off on to my lip that it went into my nose and mouth. Also she had to put the wax on 5 times and ripped it off 5 times. This is was happens when you microwave wax instead of having it be constantly heated because the wax cooled and did not work properly. She sprayed me with something I dont even know what because she didnt tell me at all and it got into my eyes. She didnt even get all the hair off of my eyebrows and lip and there was still wax on my lip that she did not remove. At the end she now tells me its $14 instead of $8 because the students cost $8 and she cost $14 to do. I told her she didnt tell me that because at first she herself said $8 but now its $14 and she said now shes telling me after she did everything. If I had known I wouldnt have gone to her on the first place. The whole process took 20 minutes which it way too long for waxing, I now have razor burns on my eyebrows so it hurts to move them, and I was cheated of my money because she wouldnt tell me the real price until after the horrible service. I had to go to another place to fix the damage she caused after. Needless to say I had a horrible experience and I hope that no one goes to her because she will just screw you over.

Im laughing because the review above me is correct. When I came in around the same time they wrote their review I saw that it wasnt for me. Its like a bodega/barbershop , when I walked in the lady behind the counter was arguing with some guy about jewelry he was trying to buy FROM THE BARBERING SCHOOL. The lady argued it was from Korea n thats why it was $10. Needless to say after the lady who tried to talk him into buyin the chain was the same lady trying to enroll me I said nvm

This is by far the worst school in the nation. I applied here at Easy Hair Beauty and Barber School just to be SCAMMED! I signed up for the Esthetician course on April 8,2018 I came faithfully everyday except Saturday’s drove over a hour for school and my graduation date was May 30th 2018 two weeks before graduation Ms.Lee (the Instructor) said if I payed her the rest of my money (I had $500.00 left to pay) that she would graduate me earlier! (This all happened May 17th) I came in the next day with the rest of the cash in my hand she kept demanding me to pay right away and I asked for my certificate so I could see it before paying and the instructor Ms..Lee took my money but REFUSED to graduate me and give me my certificate of completion (This happened May18th) Ms.Lee and her assistant are jokes all they want to do is take your money and not graduate you. Ms.Lee never taught me how to give facials or anything every time I came I sat down at the tables in the middle and did absolutely nothing. Ms.Lee gave me a work book that was already half way completed and told me to finish the rest of it to keep me busy (I have the workbook as proof) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I am writing this review because I don’t want what happened to me happen to anybody else. Ms.Lee only wants your money and that’s it I wouldn’t send a dead person to this place it’s just that bad. I have pictures of my receipts and text messages between Ms.Lee and the lady that referred me here for class. If you want to be scammed this is the place to go for sure.
