I have just finished four courses at the Esthetics Association Florida and must say how grateful I am that I choose to come here. Being a foreign student with no first hand information on the Association, I felt assured that my choice was right from my first communication with them. After attending the first session I realized that I was in good hands. Carla is outstanding in the way she engages her students and manages the class. The knowledge Ive gained from these programs have made me so confident and have put me entirely in another bracket above the rest. Im much more respected in the field than before and everyone is eager to try these amazing cutting edge treatments. I will definitely be back to do more of these fantastic programs at the Esthetics Association Florida. Thank you Carla and Amanda for making me love what I do even more. You are awesome.

Carla Postma is the best. I highly recommend the Esthetics association classes. It’s that place you don’t want to leave because always you are learning something new and I already miss them.

I have to say this is hands down the best teacher and class I have been to in a longtime. Actually since nursing school in the 90’s. I will attend as many classes as I can with the right school I have. I attended a physician taught class on esthetics and now want my money back from him. I high recommend the classes at the esthetics association!!! When I graduate from Nurse Practitioner school I will still utilize this wonderful place!!

I am pretty upset about having to write this review. I joined not so long ago anticipating for the chemical peel class on Sunday June 16th. I am fully aware of the cancellation policies but there are times where you can not predict events, especially emergencies. The night before my class, my grandpa was rushed to the ER for the 3rd time this month. He is on his last stage of Alzheimer’s and at this point he is fighting for his life with every common cold or fever. I called and spoke to a lady at the front and she said she would speak to the instructor. The sadly part is I wasn’t asking for a full refund because I completely understand. I was denied of any credit to my next class. BUT they did push to sign me up right away for my next class and pay full price. I find it very heartless of this company to not understand or bother understanding an emergency.Response to Owner: Emergencies are just that. He ended up in the hospital Saturday night and woke up to the news sunday morning the day of my class. When EMERGENCIES happen, you are not thinking of yourself. I offered to bring in any proof I had such as hospital paper work because I am sure people use this excuse ALOT. No consideration was taking. Regarding the class. I was offered to register there and then for microneedling... I asked for your chemical peel class to replace the one I just missed. I’m not sure why this is even relevant in your response? I would have been grateful with even just a half a credit for a future class. With your response, I am now positive I will not take any future classes with your company. They care more about the customers money then customer emergencies.

Highly recommend taking courses here. Can’t wait for the next class.

The recent cavitation class is my 2nd with Carla & it will be my last. Both times the hands on learning left a lot to be desired. Too much time spent hawking her products & the desire to make money is far greater than any effort to imaprt knowledge & training in the students. Very little supervision & guidance to the students while practicing. The condescending, superior attitude wasnt appreciated either. I feel inadequately trained to perform cavitation or RF & there was NO hands on with the glute cups. I will be taking another cavitation/RF class somewhere else to get the necessary training to work with clients with skill, confidence & safety. Way too off-topic too often.

Ive taken 3 certification courses at Esthetics Association since obtaining my license in January and I am SO GRATEFUL for Carla Postma for her exceptional knowledge and experience in the skincare biz. I feel like Ive learned more from her in 3 workshops than I did during the 7 months of school! Carlas idealogy about how to take care of our skin is right in line with my thinking: that is, we must first analyze and build the skin up rather than tear it down. Carla travels around the world attending conferences to obtain the latest in skincare research, products and machines so she can share with us, and you can tell she thoroughly enjoys educating us. Esthetics Assocation is a must-have resource for ALL Florida estheticians!
