This academy is affordable and will help you get the official certifications you need! Mrs. Marley is a great instructor for all of your Esthetician needs with a perfect balance of instructional and hands on learning. I was sad when I finished her class because I enjoyed every minute with her but I had to move on to nails which is also a great class here!

I love this World of Beauty Academy school! This is the best beauty school in the area! The staff are wonderful, very knowledgeable, and helpful with students to succeed in their career choices. Just like anything else you do in life, you get out of it, what you put into it!! If you work hard on learning your trade skills, that is how successful you will be. Have an open mind, and know that nothing, nor ourselves are perfect, but we do our best!! There is everything you need at this beauty school, in order to be successful! The esthetician/facial instructor, Ms. Marley, is simply fantastic!! She teaches you from not just the course manual, but also with “real-world” experience and advice. Her skills are exemplary!! I highly recommend this school and will tell everyone I know about it. There isn’t a better beauty school in the area, for the skills, knowledge, prices and expertise.

Blatant rudeness!!! I called and left a message which wasnt returned (issue #1). After I called several times (issue #2) the next day, I was finally able to speak w/receptionist around 2:43 pm (phone shows time), who said I would need to come in the next day but transferred me to instructor to better understand my request and get pricing. The instructor still wasnt sure what I needed so she put me on the phone w/a student.The young lady/student advised me to come in that same day bc she was likely the best/only  person that could handle my request. She asked how quickly I could get there and I told her they said I had to come tomorrow. She asked what time it was (2:46 pm) and said getting there in 30 min was sufficient. To finalize the request for pricing, the student asked me questions and gave detailed knowledge on the best way to approach my situation due to availability of products and natural texture, etc. In the interim, she asked the instructor for the pricing. As she giving the feedback and responding to questions, the instructor takes the phone from the student and says to me the student has been on the phone for 30 minutes now (2:53 pm which was approx 5 min and this includes the line getting disconnected and me calling back). Then, now all of a sudden they cant take me today. To add further insult, the instructor hangs up the phone in my face!! (Issue # 3)I called back to speak to the instructor to understand why she hung up on me, refused to allow the student to finish providing feedback and why she was being so rude. However, when she finally came back to the phone, she continued to talk over me, was yelling (but Im the 1 that should be upset), wouldnt let me speak, continued to claim student was on the phone for 30 minutes (now its 2:58 pm), that my discussion w/student was taken up the line for other people to call, they werent taking anyone after 3:00 pm (which is odd because website says 5 pm and they close at 7 pm) and then she hung up in my face AGAIN. At a point, when she wasnt yelling so loudly (Issue# 4), I could hear someone in the background telling her that shes being rude.Needless to say I WILL NOT be patronizing this school and would be afraid for others to do so. If the instructor cant keep track of time, doesnt seem to understand certain requests, clearly wont listen to what people are trying to convey, yet seems to have an issues with others providing feedback/assistance; I can only imagine the guidance or instruction (or the lack thereof) that shes providing to students who are performing services for patrons.Its odd how the instructor asked the student to assist me, but seemed to have an issue with the knowledge and feedback that was being given. Yet, I caught the backlash for it; unacceptable!!In summary,  good customer service should not have a time limit. Even if it does, make sure you have your times correct. Also, if you cant speak to someone with the proper courtesy, tone, and patience.....stay off the phone Instructor!

I just started and so far this school is great!!!! so much fun, I love the teachers, I can make my own time when to come in, very affordable, very clean. I love it cant wait to finish and get my license.

So, I go to this school unfortunately they had to close because of covid 19. So the school is super affordable. The instructors have been nice. Now to the cons, the instructor Tom does stay on his phone and outside a lot to smoke. I have not learn a lot just polishing and an attempt at acrylic..I do like how they are hands on..I also wish this covid thing would go away so I can finish and finally get my license!

Marlie is a very nice instructor and also informative. Everybody is friendly and very genuine and involved with all of the students here.

I just graduated from here and the amount of time and care Miss Liz puts into her students is amazing. You can definitely tell she loves what she does. I’ll recommend EVERYONE to attend here. I’m only sorry that I can’t continue to attend classes here.

I came to this location around 4pm on Monday to find out information and was completely ignored by an older Oriental woman who heard me come in and was sitting directly in front of me until I spoke up. I brushed it off and then I asked her how the services work because I wanted to get a pedicure.I was told that services are from 11-3. I asked if I had to make an appointment with anyone and she said no, just come in and someone will be there.I came in the next day at 2:30 pm, walked in and there was not a single soul in sight. I tried to be patient and began reading the services, prices and different informational posters they had around the facility.A little while had become 5 minutes so I walked around to see if there was any one in the back who could help. I said hello twice and found a side door to which an older Oriental had been sitting outside.This is the same door I parked in front of and he actually saw me as I parked earlier and walked to the front. I thought he came out for a smoke and that there may be someone inside so I never said anything to him when I initially stepped out of the car.I opened the door and asked if there was anyone here, he said nobody here. Never looking up at me once. Then I asked him why he didnt tell me that when he saw me pull up, get out and walk to the front. He said I dont work and waved me off, still never looking up at me once. I said, you dont work? He said no. All of this with very clear disregard for any type of quality customer service.I am appalled and disappointed. I dont think Ive ever been treated this poorly at any establishment in my life. Twice.This is supposed to be a school and Ive never seen many cars here to begin with. It always looks empty but they close at 7pm I believe.Dont waste your time coming here. The energy is eerie and odd. This is officially one of the worse establishments Ive ever walked into.

Very good school helps the students well with everything they need

I needed somewhere that could work with my very busy schedule. I found this place and attended at my own pace and was given step by step hands on experience that helped a lot better than the books that ive studied. This place made what seemed like an impossible career milestone possible! I can now finally start a new life!!

The facial specialty teacher is very informative and sweet! The school is extremely affordable, in comparison to other programs. No complaints!

It’s a very great academy where you don’t waste your time reading or listening to the teacher speak for hours, you start practicing since the time you step foot inside.

Went there with my daughter to have a manicure and pedicure and we werent greeted at all! They were rude, ghetto, and did not communicate with us. I had to approach the man and he just focused on his phone. He asked the girls who wanted to do our nails and one of the nail techs said they will do our nails but not any feet! She made us feel so uncomfortable that my 13 year old daughter had to say she wants to go somewhere else! This is ridiculous that they are going to be the future nail techs of tomorrow! If I ever see them again I will not let them touch me or my child! Disgusting!

This place is horrible. We called to make sure they were open while we were on vacation and were told yes come after 11:00 am, students will be out of class for hair cuts then. I asked do I need an appointment and was told no, just drop in and hair cuts were $6. So we drove all across town to get the hair cut, took us 45 min to drive from our hotel. When we arrived the manager said I dont have anyone they all just graduated. I told her I had called twice to make sure we could get the hair cut. She was so rude sending us away, while she was sitting there doing nothing and had several people that could have helped us. DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR CUTS, MANAGER IS HORRIBLE, MEAN AND CRUEL!!!!

My name is babak.i went to renew my licence at this place.the manager keep me over 45 min and talking to her family over the phone and tell me 120 dollars to renew my licence.which i asked over the phone and i was told it is 65 dollars.when i asked the manager why is to high price she told me i have no time to talk to you it is what it is you dont like the price we dont need your mony.i dont recomandthis place at all.

Excellent school for learning to become nail tech. I can start my new career from what I learned from my school. The instructor and staff are friendly and nice.

Would never go again would never recommend anyone to go. Maybe every one there was having a bad day but I had to walk out before my service was finished because she didnt know what she was doing, she put the wrong thing on for a base coat, and my nails were worse than when I came in and was asked to pay $7.00 and then had to go somewhere reputable to start over. Very disappointing and they were ok with that

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. The staff is amazing, and my instructor Mrs. Marlie is AWESOME. When I first came I knew right away I was makin the right decision to attend. I went to this school and now my daughter is attending this school. They make sure you are set to go straight to work when you leave them. Professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

The light up sign & internet info is misleading. Says theyre open until 7 pm, but they apparently close at 3. Lady at the front counter was really dismissive & rude, no customer service at all. No one answers the phones when I try to call ahead.Place has a creepy vibe, looks run down and no one is ever in the parking lot when I drive by. Looks like a money laundering place to be honest.

Emailed to get more information on school and mail was full and wouldn’t go through. Called multiple times within one day and finally got an answer. The lady on the phone kept saying “I don’t know” to all of my questions about the facial specialty program and was very rude and uninformative.

Don’t come here to get nails or toes done

GREAT LOCATION EASY ACCESS TO TRANSPORTATION

Students are in a rush and do a sloppy job but when you try to come back even when you dont complain because you get what you pay for, they answer the phones when they want and when your trying to get info they hang up on you.

After training, they dont help you anymore. Will never recommend to anybody.

Online says they are open til 7pm, I walk in around 5:30pm there’s this oriental older lady on the phone doesn’t look up or acknowledge me after a few minutes of me standing there she gets up and points at the sign that says service is until 3pm and sits back down to continue her conversation WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER

For me it is the worst experience that I have had such a serious place if professional staff are very disorganized they only lie I am 35 years old with my cosmetology license and it is the per place that I have found I do not understand how they have licenses they are Chinese thieves who They do not even know how to work, they only take money from people and look for pure humble people to steal them, they speak so ugly, they only lie to the mother that what they speak orrible are not teachers and less used.
