So far the instructors have been great after two classes and one cram session. The mix of information to help pass the certification exam and real world need to know information has been good. In hindsight the boot camp maybe was not the right choice since there the lab work is pretty much on your own. It is not cheap but NH offers other resources that you do not get from a free Youtube video.

Good organization. provide all tools necessary to achieve goal of certification. some courses require more individual motivation than others. ultimately, only you are responsible for your success.

Great staff that is always available to assist you with any concerns. They did everything to get me enrolled and started into their COMPTIA A+ Network + class. The instructors are very knowledgeable as well. I recommend to anyone that is seeking a new career.

Excellent experience! If you are in the market for IT certifications, New Horizons will make sure you have all of the tools and resources at your fingertips to pass these exams.I was enrolled in the CompTIA CySA (CSA-002) class. The course came with a TON of labs to really understand how to use these tools and why we are using them rather than just reading a book and learning some vocabulary.My instructor was Cory, and Cory is a VERY intelligent person, also her way of teaching is excellent. She makes sure that you understand the vocabulary first, then you dive right into labs. Worried about not understanding the labs, fear not as she is right there to assist if you need itI cant wait to proceed to the CEH class and explore more of the cybersecurity field!

The administration is incredibly supportive and the instructors are simply the best at what they do.

This was a great experience. The teacher was very knowledgeable and I was given plenty of study material to prepare me for my certifications. Having the option to take the class from home was a plus during the pandemic as well.

Initially, I couldnt keep up with the style of information dissemination but as time roll by I caught up with the speed and style. I particularly enjoyed the continuous lecture review and references to the objective of the certification, so that nothing is left unturned when it comes to certification examination and adequate materials to provide effective resources to becomes successful both in the exam and on the field with the quality of lab for hands on experience..

Awesome experience with these guys. As a Senior Programmer who has been around PC’s since 1983, and professionally since ‘85, I’ve seen everything from 8088 and DOS to what they have become today . I had to take a break for a while and need a good, reliable school to catch up with the current technology. Definitely recommend them.

At first I was hesitant that their offer was too good to be true. Upon arriving, I discovered everything they said to be absolutely true. The classes I have taken so far are taught by industry certified people who also have real-world experience behind their certification. The classes are a mixture of instruction and lab work, so its not all death by PowerPoint. If you are a veteran looking into this program, I highly encourage you to consider attending the courses they offer here, as it will definitely give you a leg up in your job search.

New Horizons is a fast paced, knowledge packed, certification driven powerhouse. Everyone from the support staff to the instructors give 110% and do everything they can to make sure you have the tools and knowledge to pass your tests. It takes 110% effort on your part though to cross the finish line. I am very grateful to attend and am already looking at what Certifications I want to take next.

I went through the Troops to Tech program and had a great experience. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and the staff were really amazing. They are really passionate about our success and they prepare you to get certified. I was able to get certified in Security+ and I could not have done it without the instructors and their time that they dedicated to prepare me to pass the exam.

20 years ago I was certified MCSE at New Horizons after having been a professional waiter for 17 years. This lead me to a career in I.T. that has been challenging, fulfilling and has paid the bills.Today I am on the path of certifying in some newer areas. The live instructor lead online portal fits my evening schedule availability and will update my skills to current standards. The live instructors teach to understand the material while targeting the training on passing the certification tests which is important.I would recommend it for anyone who has a busy schedule and is committed to improving their marketability with updated certifications.

The teachers are very interactive with students

My experience with New Horizons has been nothing but positive. The entire staff including Jennifer, Stephanie, Jerry, Arnaldo, Cory, Lisa, Heleny and Gary have been nothing less than professional. All are friendly and have the students best interest in mind. The rate of flow of the information is very fast due to the amount of information that the instructors must cover but they make up for that by ensuring they provide adequate study resources beyond the classroom. They also provide exam reviews after hours to assist students in being able to pass their certification exams.

Brandon Peterson will illegally sign you up for classes after you are no longer attending the school. Their Employment percentages are skewed due to the contract they have with the Temp Agency Aerotek (these jobs only last about a month). Also the courses will deplete your GI bill at an accelerated rate and they will not disclose this information to you until you are in a hardship. DO NOT ATTEND!

In my opinion, New Horizons offers the best hands on training for IT skills. Not only are students are given knowledge that can be applied to their real world experiences but also that can help them pass certification tests. The instructors are very enthusiastic about the content that are teaching which creates an easy flowing learning environment. I personally have achieved 4 IT certifications through my experience with New Horizons. I highly recommend them as a teaching facility.

I recently attended the PMP class and had a great experience. The flow of this class was great and I feel very prepared for my next steps. The instructor, Victor, was great and did a fantastic job keeping us all engaged.

I found this school at a job fair in Orlando. Took my first CompTIA exam and aced the test! The instructors and my school counselor are very supportive and student-centered. I have ZERO professional IT experience (my MA is in Org Dev/program mgmt) and wishing to change career paths into cyber-security-yeah bit of a 180, but this is what I want to do. This school is an accelerated IT program, so be ready for it, lots of studying and lab work. Classes are small and each student has their own equipment and PCs. There is career development and resume writing center which helps students find jobs, plus they have access to recruiters. During my first week, I already had recruiters calling me and job offers (although, I choosing to stay in coursework and finish three more certs). I have two university degrees, and the university didnt help students or alum find employment, this school does so. Majoy plus right? What good is a degree or certificate if you cant find employment? So its nice the school is helping with this, especially in this job market. This school is legit and would recommend it if you are like me, looking for a mid-career change. Thank you.

Originally thought this school would help me test out on all these IT exams and pass throughout the 8 week course. You need to be able to study on your own, they give you the tools and expertise to succeed, but ultimately it is up to the student to test out and self-study.

Ive been doing training there since 2013 and every class ive taken is very well planned and completely worth the money and time invested. The classes cover everything I need to be successful at work, the instructors are great and friendly and always ready to help you out even after the course is completed.

This Company will misrepresent itself to veterans they fraudulently used my GI BILL when I wasnt in the state. If you cant read this is perfect for you. All the instructors are allowed to do is read out of the book. As well a contracted teacher helped students cheat on the Cisco exam David Trowolski was one of the students that cheated. the Instructor took them to take the test and allowed them to use the internet too look up answers. Oh and they will try to delete this review for sure Dont I repeat Dont talk to Brandon if he tries to get you to use your gibill. I can assure you that You tube will be more educational than the DOD 8750 course.

Took classes at New Horizons Orlando and it was one of the best choices I ever made. I had a Computer Science degree but could not get a good IT job because everyone wanted certifications. I received more hands on training with their labs in 3 months then I did all 4 years getting my degree. Job placement assistance was good and my employer had sent their IT guys to New Horizons for training so it really worked out well.

I was a little skeptical at first when I received the notification that I was awarded a scholarship to New Horizons IT class. But after asking a series of questions I accepted the offer. To my surprise I learned a lot. The class was great and the teacher Arnaldo had a lot of knowledge about the labs and Microsoft in general. You can tell her really loves his job and the field he’s in and I enjoyed the class and learned a great deal about Microsoft.

One of my best decisions was take COMPTIA Security+ and CEH in New Horizons. I had pretty good base of knowledges before, but patch all gaps with their help. And those information helped me to get job in Top 10 Companies in the world. Especially thanks to Garry Copeland, that pushed me to apply to New Horizons

Andrew Warner was my Career Counselor; he got me interested in taking some courses to update my IT education through New Horizons Orlando. I did not have any formal IT training before I enrolled. I learned that they had day and night classes so I could pick times that worked around my schedule. New Horizons was convenient when it came to getting classes done quickly and efficiently to help prepare me for the certification exams.The materials and equipment were up to date and were as resourceful as I hoped, plus the hands on training for my Network+ and A+ class gave me insight on real world experience. The instructors had a great ability to step in and see if you were on the right track. It was obvious they had all around experience and they knew what they were doing. They were not afraid to say “Wait don’t do this”, we will “start it this way” or explain how, where and when, instead of letting you flail at it over and over. They were very good at making sure we understood A: What we were doing and B: What was going to be on the test. Rather than the instructors saying “this is the basic knowledge”, they took it a step further by telling us “you need to know these specific elements for the test”, which is very useful when you are studying for a certificate.The study materials were organized, efficient and everything was as I hoped it would be. I came in and got what I needed to study for the class. Both the online and paper materials were up to date and accurate for the test that I was preparing for. I did not have to go search online for any additional study resources; it was all given to the class from the start. The instructors guided us to “go here” “do these practice tests” “this is listed in your book and read these things”.I was guided in the right direction the first time around with New Horizons without having to spend 6 months to 2 years in a college. I got what I needed to know, study materials, hands on experience and passing the test in just a couple of months, I am currently moving on to Security + and plan on taking more classes in the future. Suffice it to say, I experienced almost all they had to offer and I would describe my experience in pretty much the same way it seems everyone else here described theirs--excellent.The instructors were a great mix of professional but humorous while all being EXTREMELY knowledgeable. They are all passionate about the tech industry and it shows. They can talk at length about the subject at hand without ever seeming to have exhausted their knowledge.The center is very goal-oriented. Take the class; get the certification; use it to get a job. The instructors and staff always followed up when they saw me in the halls to make sure I passed myexams. They seem to take it personally and try to do everything possible to make sure you succeed.Finally, and best of all, the career placement is top notch. Before I had even finished all of my classes, I had a great position at Bright House Networks and have been making progress in my career ever since.All in all, New Horizons Orlando has been a great spring board for my career and success.

I called in and scheduled an appointment to take an Autodesk test for Monday July 3rd. The woman on the phone said that they closed at 6pm and since I was coming from a long distance asked if it was ok if I make the appointment at 6pm. She said it was fine and took my info.I arrive in the pouring rain at 5:30, ready to take the test, to find locked doors all around. I call and the center is closed!There was a woman who exited the building to which I ask her if she was from New Horizons and she said no, she was from another office. She told me that New Horizons was closed ALL DAY! It wouldve been nice to have been told that before I made the appointment! Dont take tests here as apparently they dont know how to keep schedules.

Already have a B.A. in International Relations and had little or no IT experience.I choose New Horizons for the classroom learning environment and the hands on experience in working on actual computers.Hands down New Horizons was more my speed for learning the IT material compared to online classes Ive had in the past.The instructors are first rate, I learned so much from the different instructors Ive had. The labs and Transcender exams really helped me to learn the material.I would highly recommend New Horizons to anyone who is looking to learn new IT skills. The classes with teachers and students in an actual classroom environment really helped me learn the material. It afforded me an opportunity to ask many questions with the teacher as well as talking with my fellow classmates.

Greatest School I have ever attended, the instructors get it and they do not waste your time with silly homework assignments and such that would be found in a University. New Horizons is an exceptional Training Center for Computer Based Certifications.

Ive taken a few courses at New Horizons Computer Center and other places and Ive found that New Horizons was far and above the Best Place for the classes.Most places will coach you through the the course to make sure you pass the test. New Horizons teaches you about the program that youre in. While I was taking the Network+ course the instructor led us through the book and then took his time and taught us what wasnt in the book that pertained to the job. Additionally, when we finished with class early he always stayed after and helped us with the more difficult areas until everybodys questions were answered. He also made sure that we knew the difference between the test objectives and what we need to know on the job.In the CCNA course our instructor was extremely knowledgeable about the course materials. Even though we were the first class that was taking the recently updated course, he kept us on track and taught us what we need to know to do our job well as well as what we needed to know to take the test.. He had a difficult assignment because this was the first update to the course in many years and he had to know the new material and also know the difference between how the new material differed from the old material and why it was important that you know the difference between the the two different courses.The staff at New Horizons was also fantastic. Whenever I had questions that were administrative in nature, the staff would point me out the the appropriate people who could get me the answer that I needed. From the VA reps to the test schedulers to my account representative, they had the answers and let me know what was important for my future. They were dependable, knowledgeable and most of all helpful and friendly. Their advice was timely, knowledgeable and efficient.The facilities at New Horizons are 1st rate. All physical assets that we needed to complete our courses were found there and they were relevant and germane to to our courses. We each had our own equipment and nobody was ever in a simulated environment. Additionally they have there own computer lab area where you can go outside of the classroom so you can continue your studies while not in the classroom.Overall I have never found an environment, including University classrooms that had the ability to teach you relevant courses that New Horizons has. If you want the best possible place to be able to complete your education there is none better!!!!

The job placement assistance at New Horizons was AWESOME! They set up onsite job fairs and companies came out and interviewed me and other students. I got hired before I finished my Cisco certification program at a large Hospital here in Orlando. I highly recommend New Horizons to anyone that needs IT training, certs and connections to get jobs.
