My husband and I are having an incredible journey learning to dance at Arthur Murray. All of our instructors are super talented dancers as well as educators and just super fun people. We very much look forward to our private lesson each week as well the parties and group classes we can attend too. Learning so much and building so much confidence on the dance floor. I can’t begin to express how thankful I was to attend Arthur Murray Dance Studio and work with the amazing Mandi to create a first dance and father daughter dance for my wedding. I’ll be honest I was apprehensive if my now husband and dad would agree to six hours of dance lessons each. However we all agreed, it hands down was our favorite part of the wedding prep experience. Not only do you get to work with the incredibly talented and passionate instructors (Mandi, Enrique, Julia, just to name a few) but you get to spend designated quality time working towards a common goal with your loved one. During a time in wedding planning where the world seems to be running a million miles an hour, this was time that was purposefully set aside and we all enjoyed ourselves so much. We were all novice dancers, which was never a problem for Mandi! She had a plan for every lesson and truly took the time to get to know us. She is absolutely incredible to work with and if you are on the fence about dance lessons, I promise, you will not be disappointed with her. Mandi we can’t thank you enough for all you did for us. You and the rest of the staff were so delightful to work with and we will definitely be back! You have gained a forever client!

I remember vividly memories learning to dance with my beloved wife Eleni. She Was such a smooth and sophisticated dancer having grown-up in Greece and was a former ballet dancer.I had the frenetic jump around Detroit rhythm. Our instructor was able to smooth me out and make dancing with my beautiful wife a romantic pleasure.

We have been receiving dance lessons for a choreographed first wedding dance, everyone has been so kind and helpful, I have learned so much and am so excited for my wedding dance this weekend! Rafael, Paola, Joya are amazing! I definitely recommend them!

We initially received a postcard in the mail, and decided to check out the Lake Mary location before starting lessons. After our first free lesson, we decided to sign up. We are getting married this November, and we wanted to take dance lessons, in order to do a swing dance at our wedding, reception as entertainment for our guests. So far we love it and have had a great time learning the box and the basic steps for the swing. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and consistent. They also have various ballroom and latin shoes for you to try on, if you want to buy shoes. I had a very hard time finding the right ivory color and size,9.5, for my wedding reception, but Andy at one of there locations was very accommodating. He worked with the vendor directly and was able to get them ordered & custom made for me. Within 5 weeks I received them! NOt only do they fit, but Im in love with these shoes because they are beautiful. They do take some getting use to if you are not use to dancing on the ball on your foot, but I ordered the 2.5 inch flare heel, and will be adding some cushion in the toe area so I can dance the ~2.5 hours for my wedding reception. If you need anything from them or are just new to dancing and have questions, just ask them. they love what they do, and I would definitely recommend the Lake Mary and Orlando (Conroy) locations.

My wife and I decided to take dance lessons in particularly to have an individualized, customized choreographed dance routine designed for our wedding, specifically for our first dance. I am no dancer (understatement of the century) and my wife is quite a good dancer so Mandy was challenged to teach a couple where one was a fluid dancer and one was gifted with two left feet...WELL she did it. Our dance was absolutely beautiful. We love Mandy and the entire team at Arthur Murray as we found everyone to be so nice, professional and helpful. We felt like family.

My fiancé and I came to the Arthur Murray school to learn a mash-up dance for our wedding, as well as individual dances for one another and our first dance. If you’re looking for help with your wedding dance, a unique date activity or just a way to stay fit look - no further than Arthur Murray! My fiancé and I started with this studio back in December with the goal in mind of having a polished and fun first dance. Over the past few months we have learned the waltz, swing dancing, bachata and merengue. Mandy, Joya and Luke as well as all the other team members are a joy to work with and keep us coming back to learn more.

My husband and I have been students at this Arthur Murray Studio for almost 2 years now. The entire staff is friendly, enthusiastic and caring. When we started we were total beginners. Now, we are excited to go out and show our Hustle, Salsa, Bachata, Foxtrot and Waltz moves! We are often even complimented on our dancing. Knowing some dance moves makes going out all the more fun. The combination of private and group lessons provides a good variety of learning experiences. In addition, the Tuesday and Friday night dance parties gives a safe space to practice newly acquired steps. What really makes this studio top notch is the instructors. Every instructor is patient and positive. They are able to break down complex steps into simple, understandable pieces. In addition to each instructor being amazing ball room dancers, they each have a vast knowledge of the history of each dance and how the various dances are connected to one another. My husband and I committed ourselves to going to the studio at least once a week (we often go more) and as two working professionals some weeks it is difficult. Sometimes, we have to drag our tired selves to the studio after long days at work. But after attending dance class we always feel rewarded and refreshed. We are very happy with our progress and feel it has been a very rewarding experiences.

I started dancing at Arthur Murray Orlando when I moved to Orlando almost 2 years ago and cant say enough great things about the studio. All of the instructors are highly skilled, friendly, and genuinely want to see all of their students accomplish their dance goals, whatever those may be. We work hard, but also have a great time. Great place, instructors and atmosphere

The classes are great but you cant get the full experience without the awesome parties and groups. Our main instructor is Judy and we also get the bonus of occasionally working with everyone. All of the instructors are knowledgable and have a great sense of humor. The extra activities are super fun.Were not in it for the medals and skill contests. We just want to have fun with it. If youre inclined to take it more seriously and get competitive then Arthur Murray has that side too.

I highly recommend the Arthur Murray Dance Center in Orlando. I started in 2017, and will continue until my aging body can’t! All of the staff are welcoming and encouraging, and love to celebrate! I just performed a tango and a jive in the Annual Snow Ball last night and had so much fun! These were two dances that I did not think I would try when I first started, but now I look forward to competing with nine different dances in May! Whether you are looking to learn social dances like salsa or bachata, or a first wedding dance, or to just have fun, this is the place to go!

This is a great place to learn dancing or to just have fun with a friend, spouse, or family member. If I could, I would take lessons weekly, but I live an hour away. Nonetheless, its a very friendly place and the staff are welcoming and thoughtful. I give Arthur Murray Dance center 10 thumbs up!!!

Arthur Murray has been life changing for me. I came in with no rhythm and no idea how to dance. The instuctors were able to pull off a maricle by getting me ready to dance at my daughters wedding. I had such a great experience that I decided to continue to learn after the wedding. I absolutely enjoy the staff and other students. They are like family to me.

We took 6 classes with Mandy and she was great! She put the perfect choreography for our first dance based on our very restricted dancing skills and it was awesome. We were very comfortable with the moves and our family and friends loved it as well. Definitely recommend it if youre getting married and cant dance, but would like to have a basic, but fun, wedding dance.

Almost two years ago, my husband suggested we take dance lessons for our daughters upcoming wedding. We havent stopped. And the wedding was a year ago October. Although we both continue weekly lessons, I have begun participating in danced competitions and love dancing with my instructor/partner. Its not just great physical exercise. Remembering choreography and dance techniques are essential to competition, and I love pushing myself to succeed. We have made so many great friends too. Arthur Murray is my happy place!

Wow what a friendly and inviting environment. The staff was great Josh who greeted me was bright and cheerful. The new manager Mercy who very professional walked me through the various dances. I was a singer dancer for many years of my life and decided at the age of 50 something it would be fun to get back into dancing again. I spent an evening dancing many styles. It was lots of fun and my instructor was amazing! Fabulous looking and an excellent dancer !! I just am going to a health issue right now and they’re packages are a little too pricey for me right now. Maybe something for the future!

This is the third dance studio Ive tried in the Orlando area. If youre trying to learn how to dance just for fun then maybe this isnt the best option for you as it is the most expensive studio by far. However, the level of training doesnt compare with cheaper studios Ive tried.Pros- teachers are professional, they explain things very well.- they know when you make a mistake and give great advice on how to fix them.- Because the group classes are smaller, you get undivided attention outside of private lessons.- complimentary wine, coffee, tea, and beer lol.- they interchange teachers, theyll sometimes schedule me with a female teacher to learn womens styling.- they have socials every Tuesday and Fridays where students can practice dancing with other students and teachers.Cons- far and expensive- they sell dance packages only, so you dont have the option of group classes without the private lessons.Before you run away because of the pricing, I will add that I went Salsa Heat for 6 months and felt like i wasnt progressing. No teacher gave me attention to tell me what i was doing wrong. The group classes were always so crowded I couldnt see what they were trying to teach.Overall the students and teachers at Arthur Murray are friendly and professional, the passion of dancing is evident here. You will get what you pay for, so if youre trying to become a serious dancer like me, then this is the studio for you.

The dance instructors at this Arthur Murray are great. They immediately treated us like family. My fiancé feels like she is “dancing with the stars” every week. We absolutely love it here and we are excited that we finally decided to learn the Swing and the Tango together. (As well as a few others thrown in for good measure)

Ive been taking mostly private lessons there for over a year. The instructors are fun, goofy, but professional. The quality of instruction is incredible, they cater to different learning styles, and are very patient. Im not sure what industry standard is, but their lessons are only 45 minutes. For me, that is not enough time to tire me mentally or physically. Half the lesson is spent learning verbally, and also socializing. This is only a concern because of their high prices. They also do not have many options for lesson packages. They sell assortments of massive lesson packages (eg. 29 private lessons + 29 group + 29 parties) that force you to spend more time and money than you intended. I wish they offered smaller or custom packages. They will throw in parties with the packages, but the parties are just 45 min of 1 minutes songs everyone can dance to, with a few drinks and no food is provided. Overall, Arthur Murray provides incredible instruction and an amazing experience.

They responded to our emails right away and welcomed us in for a free 30 minute lesson to make sure we liked it. Well we loved it and purchased (6) 30 minute lessons with Kris Kohlhaas. Kris was phenomenal and took two uncomfortable beginners and made us comfortable and confident on the dance floor!If you are just beginning or have years of dance experience, GO TO ARTHUR MURRAY DANCE CENTER!! Great studio to learn literally any dance you want. Always leave with a smile. Instructors are kind and friendly and never make me feel overwhelmed with a new move. Coming to this studio has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.My (then) fiance and I wanted to prepare for our first wedding dance. My husband also wanted to learn a little basic dancing for events with my family where it would help if he knew how to salsa.The teachers are wonderful. Mandi is an incredible instructor. She is so patient and so fun! Deciding to start ballroom dance was one of the best decisions Ive ever made! Not only have I gained more confidence in myself, Ive also gained a family within the studio. My instructor Justin has been amazing and its because of him that being on the dance floor is my new favorite place to be :)

Great instructors! My husband and I found them on groupon before our wedding and wanted to learn a simple dance for our first dance at our wedding. We got exactly what we wanted out of our first dance! The only reason I gave them 4/5 is because they really pushed more lessons.

It was one of the best times of my life. The dancers were amazing and we actually went to a dance contest and I won for best group dance? 2 teachers and I danced to Steam Heat. And then I one for most creative dance. My teacher rented a gorilla costume, and I learned the mans part to dance with the gorilla to the song from Cabaret - Wonder why I chose her...! Great fun, just a too expensive for me anymore. Too bad they dont have senior discounts.

It was fun visiting another Arthur Murray Studio and taking one of their group classes. In Ontario, Canada the members that I see regularly are like family and I missed them. Music, dancing and people are a positive and healthy influence.

I had always wanted to take dance lessons so when my husband passed I did it. It gave me a new lease on life. I loved dancing with Kris and Sammy. I watch all the photos but I have gotten so busy that I rarely get that long drive in on a weekly basis. Miss you guys. Joan

My wife and I took lessons here for several months, after I purchased a few lessons for an anniversary gift. I wasnt sure what to expect, as neither of is had any experience. But after a few lessons, it became clear that we could learn and the formula that they use works for just about anyone. Our instructor, Iccy, Im sure I spelled that wrong, was wonderful. Extraordinarily patient, but extremely knowledgeable.We got as far as we wanted and decided to move on, because like anything else in life, it does cost money. But I feel that you do get what you pay for, and they were flexible on helping us get to where we wanted to be and how it worked for us.We do hope to go back one day and start it up again, but I would recommend this studio for the beginner and the experienced dancer. It is a clean and family friendly fun environment with lots of support and experience.

I had take an introduction class there because there is no swing dance culture on the west side of Orlando. The class was great, they do a good job of boosting self confidence and and reminding me of how much I loved to swing dance. To quote James Franco and Seth Rogan, I got honey potted. I dont know how anyone could afford to take lessons though. They wanted about 500 a month. That is ubsurd, I want to dance not pay a second mortgage.

I have been going to Arthur Murray Orlando for more than a year now and let me just say that making the decision to go to arthur murray was one of the best decisions i have ever made. There is so much more than ballroom dancing lessons there. there is a caring and amazing staff, a fun and energetic atmosphere, and amazing events that always provide a fun experience for all. You always leave with smile on your face and nothing beats that feeling! It is also a great confidence booster too.
