My daughter loves Edgez! The staff is exceptional, the studio is well organized and tidy, and they adhere to social distancing guidelines. Im very grateful that there is a Zoom link to be able to watch my daughter in class and see how well shes doing. Were looking forward to be a part of the Edgez family for years to come!

The crew at Edgez ROCKS!!! Thru a really difficult year, they provided safe fun for my lil girl and boy. The last 2 years have been priceless with a welcoming, warm teaching team. Melissa, the owner, is AMAZING and very fast in communication. I highly recommend!!!

My toddler loves dancing at Edgez Dance Studio. Melissa and her instructors are extremely patient and make the class instructional but also fun.

Miss Melissa is fantastic. My lil girl only started dancing a year ago. Melissa has teached her much and my girl just loves her. In such a short time my daughter is now taking 5 styles of dance at 6 yrs old.

Cant say enough good things about edgez dance. My 2.5 daughter has learned so much in a short time. Melissa and her dancers have so much patience with the little ones. They truly have a lot of fun learning.

For a small and local place that should be all about community and feeling welcome once you walk through the door, this dance studio has a lot of rules, inappropriate evaluations for toddlers, late fees for this and that and lengthy emails, containing so much information, that it is overwhelming to get through them and remember what they are asking for. And just now I brought my daughter for a fitting of her costume, and I was asked to wait outside, while the sun was blazing hot, the outdoor seats were boiling and no shade and all this while there were no other parents waiting at the same time. Trust me, out of courtesy, they should have let me waiting inside, since it was just my daughter and I, the lady that sits at the desk, the tailor and the teacher. The place wasn’t packed with chatty parents, disturbing the process. I even asked if I could wait inside since it was so hot outside and was asked again to wait outside. That was an unnecessary and rude measure. This is the second unpleasant incident that I have encountered at this studio, and that’s why I decided to leave a review. I feel that you are supposed to be community oriented, kind and polite to your costumers and I am having a hard time, over and over again, finding a friendly environment in your dance studio. And all this happens right after paying the second installment of a $250 fee for the recital! $250!!!Update, replying to Ms. Martinez:Ms. Martinez,I understand that every business has to thrive, specially the small ones. But my impression is that you are loosing yourself intransigently on rules and policies, forgetting that a big part of a successful business resides on treating your costumers kindly. I wasn’t going to disturbe your alteration process. I was the only parent in the studio at that time! The room was empty and I stated that it was hot outside. And I was denied that possibility.And no, I don’t think it was personal. If that was my perception, we would be facing another outcome.I sincerely believe that you are getting carried away by those rules and you are forgetting that to keep your costumers happy a bit of kindness goes a long way. And today, I’m sadly reporting, the kindness was missing. It was a Saturday, during lunch time for us. I was just returning from a basketball game that lasted long enough to be tired and hoping to escape from the heat for a few minutes. Every rule has an exception. And today it would have been a good day for you and your staff to look on how aggressively you are going to impose those rules upon your loyal costumers.And here I also talked about a first incident that happened before the holidays, where I spent a good amount of time trying to explain to your assistant why I wasn’t going to pay the late fee, since the reason why my auto payment was rejected was due to a mistake that came from your staff and not from me. She kept insisting rudely on that I had to pay for the late fee and I kept rejecting the resolution, to the point that voices were getting raised and parents and students were present. At this particular time you had to interrupt your class so the “problem” could be solved. Just to clarify, I wasn’t late on anything, but your assistant kept insisting on that I had to pay the late fee, even when I wasn’t at all supposed to pay for it at all!!Respectfully I want to take this moment to recommend that you review the strictness of all your rules and policies , how they are going to be handled by you and your staff and how they are currently affecting the relationship you have with your costumers. Your business is a competitive one and I truly believe that the one that will always succeed, is the one that knows how to maintain an equilibrium among all its constitutive aspects.You want us to feel like family, greet us at the door, like family does.
