With the whole pandemic situation that is taking place, it would be nice to see the dancers and teachers ALL wearing their masks! Other studios are making the masks mandatory... just saying.While all of those guidelines as great, you are missing the most important one being the mask! My grandbaby dropped in for a class and I couldnt believe masks were not enforced. Maybe mandatory masks for everyone should be added to the guidelines!

I have been renting studio space from Marshall & Alex now for over two months. Both are so friendly, personable, professional and most importantly easy to work with. Their studio is amazing and the atmosphere is incredible.

ME dance school is amazing!!! They are disciplined and they give you a large value for a good price! My daughter loves coming here and the staff is so kind to the students!

I enjoy the kind and caring environment that I always feel when walking into Marshall Ellis. Even when I am unable to take classes for a while, the teachers remember my face the next time I come in and always ask how my life has been and the parents and other dancers are super welcoming. I love that I can choose what level class I want to take especially especially when I have been away from dance for so long it helps me not to feel bad that I can no longer do some of the things I used to and there is never any judgment just support.

Dance has always been my first love. Since getting involved in theatre and working professionally, it was a challenge to juggle how I could still fit dance in my busy schedule. I love that I can pop in and out when it works for me. I now get to do several things I love and still dance. Marshall has been very supportive of my wishes to grow as a dancer while exploring other art forms.

My daughter is 13 and participates in the Elite Training Program at Marshall Ellis Dance School. This is a pre-professional ballet training program that in my opinion closely resembles a conservatory program. The dancers put in 24 hours a week of high quality ballet training, with the option of participating in other styles of dance later in the day. The Elite instructors are well trained, professional dancers who have an excellent grasp of educating, inspiring, motivating and encouraging. They are consistent in technique and teaching styles. They cultivate a positive environment with sound instruction and practical feedback, rather than shaming and choosing favorites. The studio as a whole makes high quality training affordable and accessible to dancers of all ages and levels.

Marshall Ellis Dance School has been amazing!! We changed dance studios last summer to find a place that would challenge our daughter. She is thriving and growing in all areas of dance! I have never seen her happier. Being apart of the ME family has been a blessing to not only our daughter, but to our family as well.

Marshall Ellis Dance School is so amazing because all of the teachers are professionals and they are encouraging but also push you to be the best that you can be!! And that’s something you can’t find in a lot of studios. Also, Marshall provides so many programs and every genre of dance, so you can find the perfect one for you!

Marshall Ellis Dance School offers an excellent variety of classes such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, conditioning and more for all different levels from beginners up to advanced taught by active working professionals in a chill environment that are definitely worth way more than they’re charging. I mean- where else can you go for drop-in classes that have technique at their rate?! They also offer more than just drop-in classes like their daytime ballet program plus their ballet, tap, junior, pre-professional and professional dance companies that put on fantastic shows for the public. They also offer workshops, summer intensives and so on. I can’t say enough about this school! It’s more to my daughter and I than just a dance school and the teachers- it’s like our home away from home with our other family! I wish we’d found it sooner. I can confidently say that between this school and my daughters discipline, that’s what’s made her become the dancer she is today in such a short period. Don’t let the low cost fool you into thinking you’re not getting fantastic classes! When we first came here I thought there was some sort of catch. By the way, there’s also an option for students that want to compete solos, duos & trios at dance competitions and partake in workshops like Nuvo, Intrigue, Shake the Ground, Dance League, 24seven, etc.

This is a fantastic dance school! The drop in classes makes it great with a hectic life schedule and the instructors are all working professionals. My daughter (14) takes classes here and has been for over a year now and loves it. I recommend anyone that would like a professional but caring place to take classes to attend one or all of the many classes offered at ME Dance. Hope to see you there!

This school is wonderful! Hours are very flexible and accommodating with my busy schedule, and the classes, both private and group, are very affordable. Marshall really takes the time to understand what each individual student needs and works towards their goals without cutting any corners, providing a comfortable and safe learning environment to ensure that they become the best dancer theyve always wanted to be!

I have been dancing my entire life, majored in Musical Theatre in college, taken classes at Steps on Broadway and Marshall is the single best ballet teacher I have ever had. He is patient as his students learn, vocal and hands-on with corrections (general & specific) and tempers each class to both the level of the students in it and the needs of the day. Therefore every class is different yet challenging! I have been going to his studio for 6 months and the 45 minute drive through I-4 traffic is ALWAYS worth it. His wife Alex is also incredible and together they provide a supportive environment where it is obvious that not only do they both love to dance and perform, but they find true joy in teaching it to others and pushing their students to their own personal best every day. I also appreciate that they are both able to physically DO everything they teach - which is so helpful in learning new skills. If youre looking to refine your technique, put your mind to work and develop a real dancers perspective - I wouldnt go anywhere else! But be prepared to come to work; and work hard!
