I have been dancing here since I was 5 coming from a school that didn’t care what you danced like and only cared what you looked like on stage. After a few years I couldn’t leave I kept saying I cant do this anymore but couldn’t be away from it for more than two weeks at a time. It is a very friendly place for everyone and I am glad my mom made me take that first class.

This is a school thats serious about ballet training. All students are required to wear uniforms assigned to their levels with proper ballet buns for each class. All teachers have been trained with Vaganova, a Russian classical ballet method, with most of them winners of international ballet competitions. It is the only school in the East Orlando that have full semi-professional productions several times a year, such as Swan Lake, Snow White, Aladdin, Giselle, The Nutcracker, etc. If your kids enjoy performing in local theaters, churches and schools, this is the place for them. It is my daughters fifth year here and she is still having a blast with fellow students and enjoying every class with her fantastic teachers!

My daughter is beginning her sixth season at the Russian Academy of Ballet at Alafaya. This is the ballet school we keep coming back to every year.
