Just did a 2-day class with Saferide. The instructors were top notch. Will and his son, Elias, make a great team. They put a lot of effort making sure you understand the concepts that are being presented and then putting them into practice. It is a gradual process from the start on the first day to the end of the class on the second day. Even if you used to ride bikes a long time ago, the course will help you refresh your skills and you will be improved by the end of the class. I already recommended this course to two of my friends. Very happy with the outcome and as far as I could tell, the other people in the course were also happy. All the best Will and Elias.

I observed a basic motorcycle safety class a friend was taking on Oct 6-7. Teacher CeCe, (not sure of spelling) was marvelous, very patient, thorough, providing details even beyond basic course material, spending extra time as the students demonstrated on SafeRide bikes, making sure her students competently learned, in action, the tips and tricks of staying safe. My friend will review separately but he raves about her competence. Paco in the office, was also always easy to reach and very cooperative when we had a schedule change. Highly recommend them!

I took the BRC class in Casselberry hosted by Wil. He was great; very descriptive and understanding as well as patient. He was funny at times and serious when he needed to be. If you listen to him you’ll be just fine. Each of my teammates during the classed passed and received their certificate. Wil is professional as well. About 1 hour after the 2 day course I had an appointment at the DMV to get my motorcycle endorsement. He let us know that it may take 24hours but I went to DMV the same day of passing the skills test and it was in the system. Best of luck

They Took There Time With Each & Everyone One Of Us. They Definitely Made Me Feel Extremely Comfortable! The Two Day Courses Are EASY! Truthfully, If You Fail Is Because YOU Were Not Paying Attention Or Did Something Out Of The Ordinary! Anyway, Thank You So Much Elias & Nick For Giving Me A Wonderful Experience. Here we go. A new addition to the many reviews with this business but I’m actually happy to be here. There are a few things I’d like to say to people considering to come to this school. This place will outdo the others in price and the willingness to want you to ride safely. I had several mini panic attacks on the bike (just being hard on myself for not getting things right) and they were patient with me (it was Eli and ...I forgot her name so sorry) and Allowed me to take breaks and come back with more confidence. If you have no experience or are experienced this place is still for you. They start you with the basics and have you ride all day (not counting the 30min lunch and set up times for the ride training switch)To the people they are scared that they are going to fail the test on the first go.I did fail by 6 points and this is my experience so far. I called them to take the class again and at first paco didn’t answer but was quick to get back to me (took maybe 15 minutes) I’ve scheduled another two day class just for a bit more practice I’d say to ask what your choices are because I didn’t but will for this review (was told I could take the test again but if I failed I’d have to pay for the class again if I wanted to go back and didn’t want to risk it). I am now scheduled again for the class a week after the first attempt for my next attempt at no cost. As they say “once a student always a student”You are allowed to return for basic practice FOR LIFE. Isn’t that amazing?I was also told when I get my new bike I can have a class with it( I think I have to pay a small fee for that one) but it’s really helpful. They only offer one style of bike for the training but it’s easier that way and will have you extremely comfortable. You and your peers will learn together and be able to pass along advice as well as getting some from your instructorsI stood after I was told I failed to see what the others got and were told. They got this card for a discounts on insurance and were told the endorsement should be ready by the next day.I’m excited to take the class again sorry for the review being all over the place. But please take the class you’ll love it.

Jose and Will were amazing teachers who truly care about their students. I had never ridden a motorcycle before, but they got me confident in basic skills by the end of the course. There were a few seasoned riders in our class as well seeking the endorsement, and I was surprised at how much they learned. This class made a huge contribution to giving me the foundation to be a safe rider. Thank you Will and Jose!

So I first Went to Another Riding School , I did not feel that the instructor was worth my 200.00. With that being said I went into this class a little with not hi hopes. I was very surprised. The staff was very nice and helpful. My two instructors where well knowledge and treat each student very nicely and in courage each student. I do admit there is not a whole lot of time to practice on the range. They try there hardest to give you the most time. Eli and the other instructor where excellent ! Giving us as much practice as we feel we needed. There is time restrictions because you do have a lot of information to learn and practice in two days. If your a very fresh starting rider , I would say be prepared to spend 4 days in the class. But don’t worry , it really is worth it. And you only pay once. If possible practice at home before and during class to help to be prepared for the final driving test. I went back for day 2 for a second time and worked with Jose. Another amazing couch. He took me though everything and helped me get through. There are not many choices in Bike classes in Orlando. I feel this is one of the best. It was the best fit for me ! And hopefully the same for you. Good luck.

If you have zero prior experience riding a motorcycle DO NOT take this class expecting to get your endorsement. There is very little time allotted to actually riding. The class is two full days and much of it is outside. You do spend several (?) hours on the bikes but most of that time is spent listening to instruction or waiting in line for your turn. I would guess only about 30 minutes of riding time. If my odometer went more than 1 mile Id be shocked. Imagine taking your drivers test with only 30 minutes of instruction. The drills were almost all low speed skills which take a little time to practice. In my class half were experienced and they took the instruction well. Of the 4 with little or no experienced only half passed. The drills are shown to you and you get 3-4 times (maybe 5 minutes) to try it then its off to the next drill. You can take the class again but its still two full days and you still only get 30 minutes of ride time. Find a class that gives you more ride time or borrow/buy a bike and just get comfortable riding so that you feel confident on the bike before you attempt the skills taught in the class.

I am so glad I chose SafeRide East Orlando to take my basic rider class this weekend . The instructors I had were Jose and Will, I can not say enough good things about these two guys!! I went into this not knowing anything about riding, now I could jump on a bike and go! Jose and Will made sure to be very thorough with instructions. Before each task they did demonstrations for us and I found that to be very helpful! It’s very nerve racking trying to learn something new especially riding a motorcycle but Jose and Will made me feel completely comfortable! If you struggle these guys will be right there helping you along! I would definitely recommend this organization to anyone that wants to learn how to ride! Jose was an awesome instructor! They really focused on you and what you needed to work on. This is an amazing course for a beginner who has never even touched a bike. They push you out of your comfort zone rather than coddling you if youre afraid to do some of the exercises. Safety is the biggest thing, and at no point are you put in danger. Even if it feels like youre going to fall off, if you listen to the pointers they give you, youll be A-OK. I would definitely recommend SafeRide to any of my friends or family!

Please do not go to the Safe Ride on East Colonial. Jose and George are absolutely the worst instructors anyone can learn from. They are not on the same page with each other and do nothing but yell at the class. I was very excited to take this course after hearing how fun msf courses can be. But Jose and George took every ounce of fun out of it. They are not clear on directions about how they would like the class to ride a course they set up and when you mess up immediately blame you for their misdirection and unclear instructions. They also marked me as I failed the class after I passed so it caused a huge issue at the DMV. I would never recommend anyone to take the class on East Colonial. The SafeRide by the Florida Mall is amazing as Paco takes care of you and makes sure you are learning the correct way. So please, save yourself from a headache and go to the Florida Mall location.

I took the course at the north Orlando location with Dave and Ralph. About 10 or so students. All males except myself and 1 other female. Majority have been riding and just needed their license. Except myself, the other female and 1 guy. The guy with no motorcycle experience did not return on day 2, I don’t know why. The other female in the course was there as a repeat for the driving portion and she did not stay to complete the driving test on day 2.If you have no motorcycle experience this class is not for you. It’s a lot to learn in 2 days and the class moves quickly. You get a few rotations on each skill and then your on to the next regardless if you know what you are doing or not.I did not feel things were explained clearly. For example my instructor kept telling me to increase my speed to at least 15 mph but the speedometer doesn’t work. As a new rider with no experience I don’t know what that looks or feels like. When I asked my instructor how will I know if I’m doing at least 15 mph without a speedometer I was told that if he’s signaling me to go faster than I’m not at 15. (Remember this because it will come up again in my story). Same thing with shifting gears on the bike. I’ve never driven a manual vehicle. When I asked my instructor how do I know when I need to shift gears I was told to listen to my bike. Again I’m a new rider with no experience what am I listening for?Dave is unprofessional and has no patience. On the 1st day not even 4 hrs into the class of never riding a bike he yells at me after I do a skill incorrectly and tells me that I should not bother with a motorcycle. He raised his voice at everyone. It was alot to learn on the 1st day. After my 1st day of class I didn’t feel like going back, I was anxious about making a mistake because I had an instructor that was yelling the whole time. The overall lack of explanation on key skills needed to pass for example mph and gear shift. And the quick progression of the course.I called the school after my 1st day and I spoke to Susie and I explained to her my frustrations. She was kind and listened to my concerns. She apologized for the lack of explanations and Dave’s behavior. I felt more at ease after speaking to her and decided I would attend day 2.Day 2, Dave was patient and talked to me instead of yelling at me. I felt there were small jokes made by Ralph about people taking offense to certain things or getting their feelings hurt or being soft. I tuned them out because I didn’t know if he was talking about me but just seemed odd because I could definitely tell they were told about my complaints. By mid day Ralph had said to me and the other female in the class that we would more than likely need to take the course again because we were not meeting the speed requirement for the test. Which I didn’t think was appropriate because you already have it in your mind that you are going to fail us. But, whatever I still went through and tried my best. I think the other female in the course was affected by this she ended up dropping her bike twice after and decided to quit. This was her second time taking this course at this location.During the driving test I made it through all the skills not at 100% but I stayed in all the lines and boxes, I had to walk out the u-turn but I didn’t stall my bike, I didn’t get through all the zig zag cones but I did most. I also was at the speed needed for my quick stop. In the test they measure your speed but during practice they just eyeball it. Funny, because for 2 days I was being told I was going too slow. All the guys in the class were supportive. They all swore I passed, but I was told I failed. I was surprised that I had failed because I felt I did decent for only being on a motorcycle for maybe a total of 8 hrs in 2 days. The instructor had made up his mind mid day that I was going to retake the course regardless if it was for speed or not. The expectation that you will do everything at 100% as a new rider is unrealistic. Save your $ and time. Do not take this class until you are ready for the exam.

I took the class on 2/14/19 - 2/15/19 with Gary and Don. Both Gary and Don were very knowledgeable and experienced. Their experience with riding motorcycles really helped to reinforce the key concepts they were drilling into us. Gary and Don were also patient and understanding while teaching. They were professional but added a bit of levity to the class which made it more enjoyable. Don and Gary also took an interest in our personal lives and our reasons for getting an endorsement. During my training I laid the bike down and immediately Gary came to help me. He made me feel comfortable with my mistake and used my accident to teach me. Don and Gary are great instructors and I highly recommend this school. Finally, as a bonus, Gary was able to enter our endorsements into the system quick enough for me to get to the DMV and get my new license the same Day.

Had Coach Dan and Coach Gary. Im very impressed that a young lady in class with zero knowledge/experience and willingness to learn was given a little extra attention early on, kept up with class, and passed the test the next day. I havent ridden in 40 years and they taught me more than I ever knew+forgot, thus saving me from my 12-15 mph adrenaline rushes. This is NOT some BS class where you go through the motions to fill a square and make some politicians brother wealthy; this is real hands-on the handlebars (dont take them off) training/coaching with about 20% bookwork, and is well worth the money. If youre looking for something to do and want to learn real skills, then this is for you (especially if youre from somewhere else where they rubber-stamp drivers license endorsements).

Not the best kind of training for newbies. Better suited for those with prior motorcycle experience and need a license. Instructors do not have the time to coach you individually, because you are in a group and they are trying to cover the groups objectives for the day.You cannot pace yourself, so a lot of information will be coming at you, which can be overwhelming for some.
