Excellent flight school! Knowledgeable instructors, new aircraft with the latest avionics!

As a flight school, the folks at FTP are top notch. My instructors made me know the information and skills inside and out, but most of all, they taught me how to make good decisions when it comes to flying and personal minimums. There have been several times now as a Private Pilot that a strange or new situation has hit me off guard. You take a deep breath, and you realize why all that training matters. You hear your instructor whispering to you from somewhere in the back of your head guiding your decisions. You fly the plane. I am a confident pilot because of their care. I am grateful for this new world of flying to now be a part of.These days I am a plane rental customer. They meticulously attend to the maintenance requirements of their aircraft fleet. The plane is always safe and ready to go when I arrive and grab the keys for an adventure. Their staff is always friendly and helpful to get you on your way and get you in the air.

Flight Training Professionals truthfully upholds their mission in providing their customers with high-quality training, and outstanding service. Everyone at FTP truly cares about their student’s success. People who walk in through their doors are treated like family, like my parents and I were during the initial interview. My mom is a senior flight attendant with Delta. She was equally impressed by the company’s knowledgeable staff, along with their classrooms, equipment, and fleet of clean and up-to-date planes. After being with the company for many months, I feel very satisfied with my decision to join the company, and the financial investment with FTP I’ve made after that visit.

Welcoming and professional. They are going through a remodel so pardon the dust. All of their airplanes are new with the G1000 system in them. I am looking forward to learning to fly with them! They also have a simulator so you can practice different flight conditions without having to leave the ground!

My daughter has been taking flight lessons here for a year and a half with Maggie as her instructor. It has been a wonderful experience for her and I have had every bit of confidence in their training and instruction for flying a plane. Despite regular mama butterflies, we got to watch her do her first solo flight a few weeks ago. Incredible! If you or a family member has a passion for flying, then I recommend giving their discovery flight a try.

I wanted to get my multi commercial add on and they helped make it happen. This place is big enough to get the job done but small enough where it felt like family. Great set of very experienced and knowledgeable instructors that were always available. Reliable and safe aircraft, what more could you ask for... I walked away with my multi and some new friends, highly recommend.

I started training with Flight Training Professionals a year ago, and I cannot recommend this school enough! Brandon has been an outstanding instructor who has become both a mentor and a friend that I look forward to flying with every lesson. It’s clear that the staff at FT Pros really care about your aviation goals and will do everything they can to help you succeed. Their fleet of Cessnas is probably the nicest in the industry, as they are always clean and extremely well maintained. Never have I had a lesson cancelled due to maintenance! I recently finished up my PPL with FT Pros, and intend to continue training with them for my future ratings.

I got my pilots license with Flight Training Professionals(FTP) in December of 2008. I chose FTP because their aircraft are maintained to the strictest standards. That was the first criteria to choosing my flight instruction. I actually logged all my time in a 1976 C172 and it never gave me any worries. Second, was having a dedicated/professional instructor (not someone looking to build time). I was teamed up Doug, a very knowledgeable, easy going guy.A bonus, they are also a Cessna Pilot Center, meaning they are held to higher standards from Cessna Aircraft, it shows in the training process. This program gives you confidence in your abilities.

I recently earned my private certificate through Flight Training Professionals, and have continued engaging with them for airplane rentals. The bottom line is this: if you want to be a safe pilot, this is the place to get your training. FTPros are professional, personable, and just all around good people. All of their systems are very easy to use, and they never had issues being flexible to accommodate my busy schedule. They certainly know what they’re doing, and they genuinely care about you as a person, not just a customer.Thank you Ed, Keith, Maggie, Evan, the rest of the FTPros staff, and most especially Kiara for being an awesome instructor!Looking forward to continuing on to my instrument rating!

Got my boyfriend a flight lesson with Kiara Rodriguez who was phenomenal. This was a first for us along with our young son who had a great time. Definitely a unique experience in which we will be doing again soon!

Earned my PPL on 6/22/2018 after learning from Jack Ventimiglia and the rest of the staff. FTP has an excellent program for the weekend warrior or someone going for a career in Aviation. Im in the former group, where learning to fly is going to be a life-long learning experience and a bucket list item for me.I had my first two flights on my own post certificate recently and felt overwhelmingly prepared to safely and efficiently fly. I cant say the same for other schools I explored prior to coming on board at FTP.Recreationally or career - if youre interested in learning to fly and want to end up being a statistic, Id highly recommend Flight Training Professionals.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, your instructor, Mr. Jack Ventimiglia, took me on a most memorable flight and one that I will never forget. If I didnt already have the bug to fly, I do now. It was GREAT!As always when one is doing a first, I was a little apprehensive , but that passed almost immediately after meeting and talking with Mr. Ventimiglia before and during pre-flight check. His explanations during the pre-flight (with checklist) and answering of my questions were very understandable to us layman and very much appreciated.I did meet a few of the other instructors at the facility and they were very nice and friendly and I know they too are very good instructors, but sorry, I have to recommend Mr. Ventimiglia to the flying public as being the instructor to give flying lessions.I must also comment that your facilities and aircraft were all very well kept and clean and this told me a lot too.Thank you all at Flight Training Professionals and I wanted to also let you know that I cant stop thinking about that flight and that I actually did it!Mr. Sylvan Bauman

I went to the Flight Training Professionals after not being able to book Flights at Sunstate Aviation due to an influx of students. I got Checked out in a Cessna 172sp G1000 in about Three weeks. My instructor Maggie was very nice, knowledgeable, and easy going. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to take to the Skys!

Completed my PPL in July 2013, just within 6months. The staff at FTP is very friendly and very accommodating. Their checkout procedures are fair and there schedule availability considering how busy they can get is pretty good. The aircraft at the moment are all newer Garmin equipped 162s/172s and a 182, they also have a Redbird FMX sim. The aircraft are kept in tip top shape as they are all used every week. Besides the great central location, the flight school is like a family and is keen on building relationships and not just turning pilots. Dont hesitate to stop by, ask questions and talk to other students.
