Went here for my High Performance and High Altitude Endorsement. Both, Instructors and staff were very friendly, professional and prepared. Their planes are also very well maintained. Would totally recommend training here.

Phenomenal school! I honestly can’t say enough positive things about it. JP and his team always made me feel welcomed and that my needs would always be met. Which they always were. Awesome new facility with an FAA approved SIM and plenty of available aircraft in great condition.Blake, who was my primary instructor was/is very knowledgeable and professional (as are all the instructors). All of their efforts combined set me up for success and gave me the confidence to test and obtain my PPL.

Amazing flight school! Well organized and all the staffs are professionally trained. The head instructor JP can give numerous high performance aircraft endorsements and I got my insurance required initial in-aircraft trainings in my C340A. He knew every details about the aircrafts and explained the key points so clearly. After a few short XC flights, I was so comfortable flying the aircraft. I strongly recommend this flight school if you recently purchased a C340.

Jim was our instructor and he was phenomenal! My dad, my son, and myself had a lovely time. We were a little nervous at first as this was our first time flying on a smaller plane and on a windy day but Jim made us feel super comfortable! Great team at OFS! I have been to many flight schools for training and or rental, and what I have learnt is the most important factor is good management and leadership. At OFS I meet JP and immediately felt I was in the right place. JP was very helpful, flexible and went beyond my expectations for customer service. Also everyone I meet as part of the team, were helpful, always offering assistance and there is an overall pleasant and happy atmosphere. These things I have learnt are so important, without them its just not good no matter the equipment.Technically, they have a fleet of older 172s, well maintained, and modern G650s which are great for navigating. Tip: Download the free Garmin650 simulator from Garmin before you go, and look it up on YouTube to get some practice in. The G650 is great when you know how to use it properly. Parking at the airport was easy, lots of food places nearby. KORL is a busy airport, a little intimidating at first, but a great confidence builder once you get use to it. Lots of cool places to fly to, and beaches to see from the air. If you go at night, time it correctly and the Disney fireworks can be a fun landmark. The FBO there has air-conditioning, water, toilets, lounge area and helpful staff.JP runs a great school, and I am looking forward to my return there.Yes I bought the T-Shirt too :).

My nephew wanted to do a discovery flight with his cousins and friends for his birthday. I scheduled a 2 hour block to fly 13 kids. The FBO Atlantic Aviation was very hospitable. The flight instructor was Esteban. He was professional and patient with the kids. It was an amazing experience. The children all wanted to go flying a second time. The cost was very affordable. Great place great staff.

I originally received my PPL in 2004 and had not flown in 17 years when I decided to get current and found Orlando Flight School in March 2021. I first met with JP, owner of the school, who impressed me with his strong aviation background, exceptional communication (texts back in seconds when you need something), focus on safety, and student-centric approach to flight training. It was clear that each student was treated as unique and that training was based on that student’s path and not a one-size-fits-all approach. JP introduced me to my CFII, Ryan, who is excellent. Ryan had a calm and constructive approach to training and allows you to learn from your mistakes versus taking an overbearing or hand holding approach. He encourages you to develop your own sound risk management and decision making skills. I enjoyed getting current so much that I decided to go for my instrument rating with Ryan as my CFII. Scheduling was flexible based on my timeline and there were good deals on the simulator to help manage costs. I took the Instrument Checkride last week (and passed)! I felt well prepared and most importantly SAFE both with the airplane and with the knowledge and training gained from my CFII. Highly recommend Orlando Flight School for anyone interested in aviation and a tailored approach to flight instruction.

Orlando Flight School is a Part 61 academy that has a small business feel, located inside a beautiful, local Orlando FBO. The costs are phenomenal!! For a fraction of the costs you would pay at a much larger Part 141 pilot factory where no one knows your name, you are getting some of the same, if not BETTER avionics Such as touch screen technology, flying in a simple but effective Cessna C-172N and one M models. If I could start my training all over again, I would of saved so much money here; and at the end of the day, still receive the SAME FAA ratings and Certificates for pennies on the dollar.The staff are so friendly, the owner is a very sweet man that keeps his word, and is always accessible to your needs by a simple phone call. Have an issue? Give him a call! You think your CFI is trying to pull a fast one? Give him a call, unlike other places I have experienced in my career, this guy is never “too busy” or snappy with you. It’s refreshing!I am glad I made the switch, and it’s even more pleasant to wear nice polo uniforms in this Florida heat with dress shorts. I have nothing but kudos for this place. It’s growing and I don’t have ANY regrets flying here! The owner has ambitious plans and I wish them all the best!

Im from New York and went to Orlando for my CFI Instrument add-on checkride. I spent two months doing my CFII training at a local school in New York which probably can be done in two weeks in Florida. Then I decided to take checkride where the weather is good. I contacted several schools in different States. The staff from Orlando answered the phone promptly and scheduled a checkride right away. Im impressed by their professionalism and cuniommcation proficiency. Everything went as planned. I had training in their cessna 172 and then took checkride on Tuesday. I passed. Everything went as planned. Today, I flew back to my home in New York.

A couple days ago I decided to go fly fixed wing after a 3 years break, I fly Helicopters for a living and I kind of left my Commercial fixed wing training in the back burner; so I visited my local Flight school “Orlando Flight School” and I had a great experience coming up with a tailored plan to finish my Fixed Wing ratings goals also went up in a 3hr flight to knock out the rust, get my flight review and Instrument Proficiency check at the same time and I had a blast... This was such an amazing way to start the morning. We went on the 60 min exploration flight, our instructor was great, he was friendly and took time to go over all the instruments and preflight check, we learned alot. Such an awesome experience in the air as well- my brother got to learn some basic maneuvers and we both had a blast! Definitely something Id love to try again

During the course of earning two licenses and two ratings I’ve had the opportunity to train at several flight schools and I absolutely love the experience I’ve had at Orlando Flight School. OFS took me from out-of-practice Sport Pilot to Private Pilot in minimal time, and I am looking forward to continuing on towards Instrument and then Commercial with them.Professional and friendly instructors, great location, and affordable prices. There is an FAA-approved flight training device (simulator) on hand which is a great tool for practicing between lessons and for reducing your overall training cost. Training aircraft are well maintained, with modern equipment and features, and the school is located at an FBO with flight line staff. Orlando Executive Airport is a great location for training: just busy enough to teach important communication and ATC skills, without being overwhelming to new pilots. There are also numerous excellent destinations nearby for cross-country training or just fun flights.

From the first call they were able to help assist me on all the documentation I required in order to come from Canada to finish up my CPL. They provided me with week by week updates with all my progress.JP, Sebastian and Joe are very knowledgeable pilots who also treat you like family, instead of a dollar sign. Their planes are very well maintained and clean. They offer fair prices. For a small school setting, they definitely know how to maximize their space and provide you with as much as you need. Orlando Flight School has been very imformative and the most helpful school I have encountered! I am currently receiving my Private Pilot License and had very little knowledge about aviation prior. After visiting several flight schools, they were the most helpful in the entire process of initiation. Other schools when asked for information about private pilot license would just provide a price sheet and I had to ask for tours of their planes. Orlando Flight School had been helpful and guided me into the direction I was looking for! Can’t wait to be a pilot!

At 51 and a successful business owner in CFL for over 22 yrs I decided to take the endeavor of going for my private pilots license. My demands and standards have always been very high. I originally came to this school to finish up my private pilot license after a several year break. The location was convenient and rates were reasonable. The owner of the school JP cares a lot about the students and does whatever in his power to help you get the most of your training. Ground school instructor Joe Marszal was super helpful at getting me up to speed for my other exams following my FAA written PPL exam. Nick Landman was my main flight instructor and he will fly with you until you have worked out all your trouble areas. Carlos Perozo, Blake Maycumber, and Ryan Delannoy also thoroughly prepared me for my checkride. All of the instructors at this school are supportive, professional, and safe. I am considering continuing my training at this school for sure!

I am a pilot scholar from Switzerland. When I visited Orlando I decided to make a flight in Florida and contacted Orlando Flight School. I could make a one hour tour together with Nick Landman, a flight instructor of this school. After a brief discussion, he let me do the taxiing, takeing off, and basically most of the flight. With a Cessna we overflew the runway of the Space Shuttle in Cape Canevral. Nick made me do a number of different manoeuvres during the flight. A very nice experience, as everything is very different from Lausanne in Switzerland. No mountains, no lake, but TV and radio antennas, wetland, ocean area, a much larger airport with several runways, and so on. Very much appreciated, thank you very much, Nick!
