This was a great school the teachers were amazing and they help each student reach the stars and instill hope for the future. I loved being there even after being away for 3 years i went back and they still remembered me and they always made sure i succeeded in everything i did. I cant stress enough how great this school is. Go grenediers!

I have two students at Colonial. They love it! Both are in the Cambridge Program and will graduate from high school with almost two years of college credit. When you are an achiever you can attend any high school and attain success.

Best four years of my life!! Go grenadiers!! I was apart of the colonial wrestling team and the grenadier band! Definitely recommended it to everybody. C/o 2017!!!

I am very grateful for all the teachers and administrators that made this a great school. All three of my daughters went to this school for all 4 years and this school really helped them learn and grow.

Since my son has been attending this school he has opened up, has become a better student, gotten better playing his instrument.

Rated your own school 1 star is not what you should do, i supposed to give it 5 star because ive had a good time here, but on my first day returning to visit my teachers and friends like all the previous year seniors did, the lady in the parking lot stop me. YES! THE LADY IN THE PARKING LOT!!!! Im saying im just visiting the school at lunch and then will get out, but she stopped me, so ok why should i ever come back

If there was less than a star I chose it because it is a school that does not deserve even a single star. A bad school that does not protect its students, my daughter with special needs, is in the private classroom in this school, but there is a student who hurts her every day and pays her and pulls her hair and leaves traces on her hands and ears. Last week he choked her from the back and my daughter arrived to die saying she could not breathe and was dizzy. I had to take her to the emergency and we stayed in the emergency until 2 am because she complained of neck pain and when I went to school I complained to them and promised me Not to approach this student. Their promise lasted only two days, and if they call me from school yesterday to tell me that an accident happened to my daughter who was the same student who paid my daughter and signed and hurt her knee, I had to go to the emergency to check the knee. It is a failed school for special classes for people with disabilities.

I understand that at any given moment when it comes to weather specially in Florida anything can happen...What? Rain very unpredictable. What gets me is, I wish when it comes to the Colonial High School football team as well as the school band the TEACHERS (STAFF)/VOLUNTEERS and dont forget the school PRINCIPAL have a plan for a stormy night at a game to protect our children from such dangerous weather along with the rain. My thing is, if you see is about to get ugly and nasty. Take the necessary precautions/steps for cover for our children. If any one of our children get struck by lighting who will be liable? If they get sick for getting not only rain on (Drenched); who will stay with then at home, pay the doctors bill for being out sick? There are two areas next to the stadium at colonial, where they can go into and get cover in a situation like this pass Friday night game between Lake Nona High School vs Colonial High School, football game. Ladies and gentlemen a plan needs to be set for situations like these. I just hope, that specially the COLONIAL HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL/TEACHERS (STAFF), oh and lets not forget the VOLUNTEERS to take the necessary steps for the sake of our childrens health, for another situation like this passed Friday night not to happen again. I hope and expect for those of you in charge have a lay out a PLAN. OUR children should not be left out in the RAIN to see if there will be POURING RAIN. It was OBVIOUS! Also, parents, we should be taking action to help out as well. I am always willing to do whatever necessary to help when needed. We should be doing it for our kids. because WE CARE!

It was a okay school, bedn there for 3 years. Only issues are some teachers, dirty/gross bathrooms & some students. But overall is a good schoo.

I think Colonial High School is a great school that gives each student opportunities to reach their high potential.

The Video Game Club is pretty good here

This school is horable. The band pictures are broken its disgussting they have chickens and ugh. Disgusting. University is a little bit more sanitary but not by alot. Idk what im doing herePS: THE BAND IS AWESOME :D

Greatest school ever! Class of 2006! Great memories, wonderful teachers (Mrs. Edinger, Mrs. Christenson-Jones, Mr. Roach), and great Alumni! The school took the safety of their students seriously (much to our annoyance at the time!), is a predominately Hispanic student body, and has a large selection of extracurricular activities available to keep the kids from hanging out and getting in trouble (if only more students took advantage of them!). Im glad they replaced Dr. Mitchell, he wasnt very open-minded or realistic about the needs of his diverse students, and showed much too much attention to the Football games and not enough on the fantastic Music and Theater departments... the clubs who actually came back with wins! I just hope the new principal can incorporate the needs of ALL his students, and try not to show too much favoritism, wish him all the best! Over all, I have happy memories of being a Colonial High student, am very proud to say Its Great to Be a Grenadier!

The rudest staff members and ocps workers youll find. Never want to help a issue, always pushing you off to someone else, talk to you like a child, disrespectful and lazy! Disappointed in this school and the way they handle situations. Very UNPROFESSIONAL

Good school, lots of good memories here.

Really bad new principal for the 2015-16 school year. Teachers, past deans, parents, and students say hes bad. Bad planning, implementation, bring in unqualified staff, existing staff are having to train new staff with no experience or education for the position. It was as if positions were given to people the principal knows, instead of it they are qualified. Principal has no High school experience.

Most of the staff just seems lost. When you ask them questions, they either give you the wrong answer or send you in the wrong direction. Needs to improve or the kids wont have a stable faculty to rely on. Please do your jobs!
