Next Generation Academy is a wonderful caring and learning experience for my grandsons. The director - Sarah is so passionate about her job and meeting the needs of every child that is enrolled there. Her staff and teachers are very professional. My grandsons have thrived there with a well rounded academic curriculum and also with the Biblical teachings that they are being taught. I loveHearing them sing to me the new Bible songs that they have been taught.

Next Generation Academy is absolutely the best, hands down. The staff is so friendly, there is open communication, and it’s one big family. The facility is clean, inviting, and full of amenities. My son has been there for 8 months and I have yet to have a problem with anything. I highly recommend this academy.

Our boys have been at Next Generation Academy since 12 weeks old. They have grown to love school and each one of their teachers. Any minor issues have been promptly addressed by the wonderful director. We love getting to see the boys on camera and the updates from the teachers each day.

My daughter started daycare at 18 months, up until that point she had the unique privilege of in home care. She had a hard adjustment to the daycare scene and we couldnt have chosen a better school to send her to for her first group class setting. The director had forewarned us that the transition would be tough for my daughter but to trust in the process and it will take about 3-4 weeks for her to adjust. Let me tell you, it was almost 3 weeks to the day and BAM it was like a light bulb in her eyes that continues to light up to this day (almost a year later) when she gets to go to school. She tells us about her friends and teachers on a daily basis and all of the fun activities they do. She has adequate outdoors time and comes home with fun activities and homework for us to be a part of her development. I cant say enough about NGA and how happy I am that we chose this Christian based learning program for our daughter. When she starts singing Jesus Loves Me and signs every word you know she is at the right school.

Our children love NGA and we have been extremely pleased with the curriculum and teachers. They go above and beyond to keep parents in the Loop and Sarah the director is extremely thoughtful about putting the kids needs first. They have a great year round and summer program that I my opinion is the best you will find. We visited several schools for our kids but every time went back to NGA because it truly is the full package. I love the extra event and activities they do with the parents throughout the year and the Christmas program. Our children have flourished at NGA❤️

We have been a part of the NGA family for almost a year now and we could not be happier that God led us to this amazing academy. Our daughter transitioned into the program at 17 months. She has learned so much in the past year, we are so impressed. She can count in English, and in Spanish, knows her colors, shapes, animals, sign language, sings songs about Jesus and so much more. She has great interaction with her classmates and teachers and we love to hear about what her days entail. There are so many fun activities that are done weekly, and some fun photos along the way. Not only is NGA educational, but their structure, cleanliness and safety is top notch. Sarah is an amazing director and each member of the staff is there to ensure your child is taken well care of. We are so blessed to be a part of the NGA family and would highly recommend this program.

The director Sarah is awesome and very understanding if you communicate with her about anything. I wish more schools could take notes from this one, Im very sad that we had to leave! If there were 10 stars thats what I would give them :)

Our daughter has been attending Next Generation Academy since she was 6 months old. My husband and I have been nothing but satisfied with this place. Crosspoint Church is now our church home because of Next Generation Academy! The staff is caring, friendly and you can really tell they enjoy working with kids. The facility is kept clean, it has great security and state of the art technology. We can not wait to see our little girl grow up in such a fun learning environment.

I want address what Leslie marrou has said about the daycare and infant room A. I have a child in that room, and attended the daycare (still do) while her daughter was in the room. That child was not always on her back, ignored, or laying in a bed. Everyday when I watched or picked up my child, all the children were being rotated to do different things like sit in the bumbo, tummy time, play on a mat, or if old enough in jumper. Her child DID NOT get a flat head from being at the daycare for a short time. That parent can’t blame a daycare for that! Also, Sarah and the teachers in infant room A are amazing!! They accommodate you as a parent, are sweet to the kids, and genuinely care about your family. Do NOT let that one negative parent, who also spoke to the teachers and Sarah rudely (cussing in front of kids, discourage from this daycare. My daughter also attends the daycare (since baby) and is also thriving!!! Loved to paint, says many words, and had tons of skills for a 2 year old. My son, still in infant room A is nearly sitting up (at 4 months), does great on his tummy, and is chatty! This daycare is amazing!!!

Spring 2018 - Due to a change in family circumstances, we thought NGA would be the perfect fit since they follow a typical daycare calendar/hours, unlike nearby MDO programs; however, it only took a week for us to change our minds. The tour of the facility was great but when we enrolled days later, there was suddenly a new director and many changes taking place.I am thankful for the camera access that allowed us to see how little the teachers cared about the kids. Many times my son would come right up and talk to the teacher, and he would be completely ignored. Other times, he struggled to get a toy out of the large toy box for minutes and no assistance was offered. The teachers he had were sisters who enjoyed sitting around and chatting amongst themselves all day. No audio was available, but you could tell by their dramatic gestures that it was a gossip-filled conversation. The lack of interaction with the children was sickening. It was as if they were robots going through the motions of their routine with no true emotions. The weather was gorgeous that week, and they did not go outside at all. Instead, the children played on the huge indoor playground with kids of all ages as the teachers sat around and talked. We felt like this was an accident waiting to happen as a small toddler could easily get hurt/lost in the large equipment with no supervision.Perhaps things have gotten better with the new directors since then, but it was not a pleasant experience or a loving, Christian environment when we attended.

We have had 3 of our 4 kids attend NGA (previously as Tot Spot) and our youngest will start next year. They have always loved going to “school” and we take them with 100% confidence that they are being loved and cared for. My wife and I knew that NGA provided great care but have been blown away by the education they are receiving which has been incredibly beneficial for kindergarten prep. The director and staff approach everything with excellence, the facility is clean and safe and the children who attend are all learning and having fun. Highly recommend!

I started taking my son to this facility after a pretty rattling experience at another facility. I had my doubts about enrolling him in another child care facility. When interviewing different campuses I had an in depth conversation with the director at NGA about my sons problems at the previous facility, and my concerns enrolling him in any where else. She was so kind and understanding, she was patient and help put my concerns at ease. The front desk staff was phenomenal with streamlining the administrative paperwork. From our first day to now everyone has been extremely welcoming. Teachers in other classrooms will say good morning, and come out in the hallway to give my son a high-five. We had a rough few weeks with my son transitioning, but the director and teachers took time to talk with us, accommodate my partner and I’s schedule to meet face to face and discuss a game plan on how to help my son through a biting phase. They were adamant about making him feeling loved and welcomed in the class. We were able to correct the behavior without it manifesting. They have personally worked with me, and I have watched them working individually with many kids to accommodate eating schedules, nap, etc. We love that they get to venture to different rooms and partake in so many different activities. The playground options are nice, they can still play indoors even if the weather is bad. The center really becomes a community and I’m so happy that we ended up here because all the parents and staff have been instrumental in correcting the biting issues we experienced at the last facility. My partner and I love taking him here, and have recommended it to many friends that are currently looking for child care.

We have our son at NGA and couldnt love it more! As a first time mom I was really unsure about daycare, especially since my mother in law had cared for my son the first six months. But after touring NGA, I knew that was where I wanted my son. It has been such a great experience for all of us and my son has really advanced since starting there. The teachers and directors all care so deeply about each of the kids and they make an effort every day to help them learn and grow.

Our family toured multiple places before finally calling Next Generation Academy our home! From the moment we stepped foot in the doors, our whole family was instantly welcomed. Sarah, the director, is amazing and goes out of her way for all families and children to have the best experience ever. She is always willing to step in and help. More often than not, you can find her comforting children, sharing in their laughter, or checking in with them and making personal connections. Her passion for kids and her staff is evident. She comes to NGA with so much knowledge, passion, professionalism, and an uncanny ability to connect with most everyone. I love having access to the Tadpoles app which allows family to stay connected with what is happening in the classroom and the school. The Watch Me Grow app is equally amazing and reassuring, as I have instant access to my son’s classroom with a click of a button. Each time I’ve tuned in, I always see his teachers interacting with the children, and monitoring to make sure they are safe. My son’s teachers have all been compassionate, kind, and very communicative. I know my children are well taken care of and safe at NGA. Knowing that he is in great care makes leaving him a little easier. We wouldn’t trade our NGA family for the world!

All comments on their website are from current employees. The pictures are from staff children. The church and school are not diverse because there is a color prejudice. Im not even ethnic and I can see the difference. I wouldnt allow my son to come here because all hed learn is to play and associate with other caucasian people. They try to throw one or two pics in of some ethnic children, but the school is predominately white. Ive attended church and its the same. They say they welcome everyone but the members can be rather rude. I was even told by one parent that the pastors are wolves in sheeps clothing. This made me reconsidered after touring a while back. They cant keep teachers especially ethnic ones and thats really disheartening. The new director has no clue what she is doing and is just down right sloppy if you ask me. Dont be fooled by this church or their unorganized school.

My daughter began NGA not being fully potty trained, but very close to grasping it. Ive been so amazed with her teacher, who has been so patient and creative in helping my daughter go from having lots of accidents to now being potty trained! As a working mom, I literally couldnt have done it without her!The office staff were very reassuring as I was nervous about her growth. The director really cares for the families and does all within her power to help a child feel welcome and to thrive. She has a great vision for NGA, and I admire her tenacity and the way she has been changing NGA and helping it grow. I would recommend it to anyone!

I work daily with infant/toddler and early childhood providers all over the greater Houston area. In the infancy (no pun) stages of this academy I can honestly say it has ALL the makings of being one of the highest quality childcare facilities in the Pearland area. Brand new large classrooms, experienced staff with a passion for children, and its very affordable!! My two little guys are all pre registered and VERY excited to break it in this August :-)

As a first time mom, I was a nervous wreck when it came time to finding my baby an amazing school. Truthfully, all schools began to feel indistinguishable. I think what made NGA right for our family is the staff. Sarah, the director, is an amazing human being. She is knowledgeable, caring, and sincere. She made us feel like family; and I just knew, my baby would be in safe hands. The transition for him was rough at the beginning. However, after just a few weeks, my little guy is starting to enjoy his time at NGA (often naming all his mates from class). We are so grateful for his teacher, Perlia! She is so instrumental to his transition. She’s kind, patient, and caring. We LOVE her so much! Everyone there greets us every morning. NGA has a positive vibe and we are blessed to be part of the family! ~Sanda
