I was a student there for a good half a year (had to prioritize my time with school) and i loved it! great peers, and especially great teachers. These masters have been at it for a long time, they do know their arts and are willing to pass it on to new students. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age. I know i will surely be re-attending once summer school is over.

Ive been a student for nearly two years now. John Powell is a fantastic instructor, who teaches us how to perfect the art of Aikido, in addition to teaching us the practical ninja tricks for someone in a dangerous situation. We also learn self-defense tactics against knives, strangling, punching, and more. Learning from a 6th degree black belt, and getting class visits from world champions makes this a top notch class. Ive been a student at Wasabi Dojo for almost two years now, and Im amazed at the skill this dojo has to maintain such a relaxed and fun environment, while still keeping students focused on the art. As a woman, I can also appreciate the opportunity to learn a defensive art that enables me to use my enemys strength and momentum against them. I know that I will not always be able to overpower an opponent, so letting them kick their own butts is kind of fun ;) Plus, weve learned a lot about how to take a fall (which I have used in real life situations to save myself from serious injury), and various other self-defense tactics. We have a pretty regular cue of 3-6 people at any given time, but theres always room for more and we welcome new people who want to stop by and check it out!

Wasabi Dojo provides a great atmosphere for the training and study of the Aikido martial arts. It is spacious and equipped with comfortable training apparatuses.Most importantly, there are dedicated and experienced instructors who are avant-gardes in the the art of Aikido, as well as a plethora of other martial arts. Ive been attending for half a year, and I enjoy it a lot.
