I have really enjoyed my AVID class! We are engaged in numerous activities to prepare us for college, college visits and speakers all have gotten me ready and excited for the years ahead. I appreciate the support and encouragement I get for all my classes!I would like them to start lunch on time and give us adequate time to eat.

This school is great, teachers are good, food eh, allied arts are fun, get to hang with your friends, and good after school programs. I am glad I am coming to this school. Activity night is ligit. I also like that each grade has its own wing so its easy to stay on time for class. The only time you have to go far is for an allied class. Go Panthers!

This school is okay I mean. The school lunches look nasty and under cooked. Thats why bring my own lunch. The teachers are kinda rude and you dont want Mr.Frandrup he calls the hall monitor down to his classroom everyday for no reasons. You cant even use your phone in school.🤘🏽

I have nothing against the teachers they are Wonderfull but I and some people I know have seen that they do almost nothing about bullying. if you want to talk to someone you need to wait till the next day of school I was never able to talk to the principals. but if you or your kid is/are going there I wish that your experience is better then mine-former student

Need stricter discipline throughout but overall very good school. Both my sister and I attended this school and are proud of our time spent in AVID.

This place has a really bad English curriculum so if your not In Spanish immersion then good luck. The foods bad so bring a school from home. Can’t do anything once someone tried organizing a march for gun violence. Instead of going outside you actually went and walked around in the gym. Very lame and some people who wanted to use the microphone for a speech were denied access. Glad it’s my last year and off to high school yay!!!!!!

Yo, I go to Sandburg now which is in the same crusty district. But I would like to address some issues.1. The lunch food is horrible, tastes horrible, undercooked, probably has bacteria on it. Like boy bye.2. The 6th grade guidance counselor is crusty but the 7/8th grade one is okay.3. Administration is crusty4. Some teachers are okay. But others just get triggered alot.5. Bullying and fights.Okay Sandburg is worse at # 5 but okay.

After just watching a news highlight on my own school i decided to make this review. I should start with the fact that not every student is exited to go to school. The lunches are horrible and the amount of misbehaving students is way to high. My classes are often interrupted by some random kid talking in the middle of a lesson. Also the budget cuts from last year where we couldnt print paper for the majority of the year. The school has bought things we dont even need like large digital clocks and microphones. When they got the clocks they got rid of a minute bell which warns us that class is going to start soon but they got rid of it and now they just say look at the clock. To be honest I only know like a few times 8:10 School starts 8:30 Period 1 starts 2:55 School ends. Other than that I just switch classes at the bell and thats all I have to worry about. I could argue that its easier to take out your phone and check the time but of course you cant have your phone or someone will take it away. Also the microphones are just stupid the classrooms are not that big and speaking just a little loud would work no microphone required. Now lats talk about the quality... Well the chairs and desks are cheap and probably older that 20-25 years old. We use textbooks from like the 80s that are also beat up and sometimes missing pages. When you eat lunch usually the trays you eat on have some crumbs on it and also visibly wet. I will say that most of the gym equipment is still somewhat old but in actually good condition. No hoods allowed in class no hats, no sunglasses, and no jackets. Sometimes it gets cold in the school and you are not allowed to wear a winter jacket in class, so i started wearing two hoodies. Thats all I really want to write about buy I will say its always hard to rate a school low because some people cant even get to a school in other countries. So I gave it a 2 star rating thats what it deserves. Im not happy to walk in the doors of the school everyday I actually dread it. Thanks for reading this honest review.

This is a good school overall but needs some work

PMS is a really great school, and thats coming from an RMS kid, who was forced here. Mrs. Guettler is the best teacher there! Srry RMS :).

This is the worst school I have ever been to. The guidance counselor (mrs.huses) is very disrespectful and no help at all. I have frequently been bullied and they told me were going to do things about it but they never did they just said they couldn’t get to the bottom of it and nothing ever happens when I go there all I say is can I leave already. Kids get in fights all the time and they don’t even stop it they just tell you to go onto your classrooms. Some of the teachers are all right but some of them are very rude. Kids Swear and goof off in classrooms but none of the teachers ever do anything about it. I do not recommend going to school this is by far the worst school I’ve ever been to.

I love this school, It has a great education, great teachers, and has new things to learn every day. The lunches arent always the best, but what school lunch is?

I think about how i just sit in class and think about how some guy is getting tons of money for saying gucci gang over and over while im learning how to get the area of a cylinder

Very bad prison. Also 10 million dollar budget cuts so we cant eat.

The school firewall can be passed by using a website.11/10 would reccomend.
