This school had been the best 8years of my life. I graduated in 2017 and would give anything to be back there. Reading some of the poor reviews written on here is disheartening because they arent accurate. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing. The sense of community is tremendous. The ciriculum is challenging and accommodating. In the past few years the AD has taken incredible strides in growing the athletic program. I could go on forever. Attending this school is the best decision I have ever made. I grew so much as a student, an athlete, and a community member in general while at this school. While it seemed like a lot of work at the time, I have been so incredibly prepared for everything my college professors have thrown at me. I am forever grateful for this school.

I went to Rising Tide for nine years total, and throughout my nine years of being there I dont think I could of asked for something better in a school. Rising Tide to me is not just a school its a family. The staff and teachers treat you like family, watching you grow and caring for you. If youre a parent and youre trying to decide where to place your child after elementary school. Go to Rising Tide. They may complain that its hard and they give too much homework but if you stick with Rising Tide theyll prepare you for life. Prepare them for the brightest future. I was the first ever graduate at Rising Tide and I wouldnt of changed a thing.

Best school Ive ever been to, the teacher are all nice and take you step by step and they have a great school policy with trust and kindness. Their charter keeps you on track to help yourself in achieving your own goals and they get you ready for the life ahead of you.

Rising Tide does not care about their students. I had been a student at the school from 5th grade up until halfway through my junior year. this year i left the school because i had felt harassed by the administration, my friend group constantly targeted and i couldnt take it anymore. Jill Crafts gets her staff to lie and manipulate students for her. They discriminate towards the students who are different races other than white, or who have educational barriers. They dont help you prepare for anything they just expect you to succeed. If a students family member is on the board of directors, they are not reprimanded for ANYTHING. Mr.Simons, Mr. Okeefe, Ms.Montville, and other teachers walk into student bathrooms and check every stall. If you end up with a concussion, you will still be force to do the obscene amount of work they give you. Now that i am out of that school, i am so much happier, the students there are all extremely nice to one another but the administration is what ruins everything.(not to mention they have mold growing inside the school where they decided to just put plywood over it and have students going around fixing pipes and other things). The day i left, 3 other students also left... at the end of this year many students are also leaving. I tell people all the time at my work when they ask about the school not to send their kids there, or to get their children out and after they hear the stories the look they have on their faces are unbelievable.

Like other charter schools, you hear good and bad. As a teacher Ive heard from former students and parents of former students, and I remain on the fence. But, I am a firm believer in charter schools and their funding. Main stream public schools should not monopolize our tax dollars allocated to education.

The high school is really bad ..and the middle school has its share of major problems. Its not just that its a police state. Its not that they have a huge turn over with students. Its not just that they offer nothing for sports..as others have noted .Its the strange ...student affairs and the other talentless and lay-a-bout office people who call you day and night about a large ( logo) on your sons shirt or one missed homework due to bad cold...I have never experienced a worse group of near-do-wells in my life. The school (I use that term lightly) is housed in a party /candle building that moved and it dark and gloomy. I should have known better when they called mid year with all these openings for incoming kids...maybe because students ran out of this place after only a month or two. They try very hard to get you in ..but-eleven other student we know of have gone and its only january?????????dont bother its not a good idea/your town school is a better bet.One woman I know has gone to the board of educaters with a few other parents to change the fact that you are not allowd to call home untill they say you can/if your child is ill ????even when they pull your kid aside to discuss some issue at lenth .your child cant call you for any reason till the end of the day. NOT NORMAL
