Bullied was allowed to go on for months after requests for intervention. My daughter was so sad after school and I asked why she said the teacher took 2 jeweled hair pins out of my daughters hair and put it in her purse (theft). I then realized they were missing and i sent a message to the teache demanding them back. I only received one back and the story they gave me about what happened to the hair pins was outrageously impossible. One reason for the 2 stars is the abusive nature of saying kids arent speaking the truth because they are a kid.Teachers stay long and arent disciplined for their actions because of seniority and because of their relationships with district leaders or corporate. Other than these issues, my younger daughter enjoyed her classroom a lot and had the best teachers. Music class was always nice.

Such a wonderful school with experienced teachers who really love what they do. My daughter was in the infant room here from 3months-14 months and it was wonderful. The precautions they are taking for covid are also impressive and made me feel safe sending her every day.

Our son has absolutely loved his time at Step by Step Plymouth, and honestly changing daycares is the hardest part about moving, because Step by Step does such a wonderful job. We cannot say enough great things about this daycare and would highly recommend it.

Our son has been at Step by Step since he was 4 months, now 11 months... so my review is for a short time frame. But the teachers have been so wonderful to work with during our time there. I see the smiles on my kids face when he comes and goes each day and thats because of them! He is safe, cared for and loved when hes there. We are sorry to say goodbye soon as we are moving, but I would absolutely recommend this place!

Step by Step of Plymouth has been nothing short of a positive, caring, and nurturing environment that our child has been a part of for the past 3 years. They have a friendly, caring and responsive staff. They follow the Montessori way of learning and peacefulness which has been great for our family. We have met other families there as well and formed friendships. They off a diverse, caring, environment and we couldnt recommend them enough.

Step by Step has been a great school for both of my children. The staff is loving, caring, and patient. The curriculum and structure are top notch. Its great that they challenge the children at their own learning pace. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a solution from infants through pre-school & Kindergarten.

We have been so happy with the care our child has received at Step By Step! Brady has been thriving, and its so nice to leave him with such tenured staff. We especially love their new Kid Reports app, which updates us with everything Brady is doing during the day. The ladies in the back office have always been so helpful too!

Our kids have attended Step By Step since they were 3 and we feel they have thrived. The teachers are caring and attentive and the kids really have formed personal bonds with them and their friends. The atmosphere is conducive to learning, exploration and fun. The children look forward to going to school every day. There are a lot of onsite activities available if the kids are interested to participate. In some cases, it would be nice to see them challenge the kids academically a bit more to get them accustomed to problem solving on a regular basis in a safe and nurturing environment. Overall we are extremely pleased with the school and highly recommend it for prospective students and parents.

The place , more like the owner (MIKE MINOR - SINCE 1991) goes at great lengths covering up issues or whenever kids raise issues about other kids. Its extremely sad to see a business (let alone a business thats supposed to take care of children) do that. But, thats MIKE MINOR for you. Very shady and deceptive. Just think about it , one owner for close to 30 yrs and many locations.... YIKES. He will do and does whatever it takes to protect his business. Thankfully technologically we are very advanced, that you can capture this unethical behavior.

Terrible. Went to get our 32 month old. Made the mistake of taking him after his school so he was a bit fussy due to being tired and hungry. The director took our application and registration fees but called the Monday after that he has behavioral issues so we will observe him for one day and then decide if he gets to go there. First of all we clarified he was tired and hungry. Secondly, how can you possibly know in one 3 hour day if a child should be admitted? Most kids will have anxiety their first day any place new. nd they will show it. Their Maple Grove location is even worst. I will not recommend this place.

Step By Step has been an overwhelmingly positive experience for our family. Charlie has thrived in an environment run by top-notch professionals. The cleanliness and care of the facility is what first drew us in and the care which Charlie receives daily is what will keep us with Step By Step until he finishes kindergarten. The education that he has received surpasses our highest expectations and will provide him an excellent foundation for many years to come.

The infant room is so energetic, inviting, and warm. The director is easy to work with, and communication has been great. Would definitely recommend Step By Step!
