Sean is an excellent flight instructor who takes the time to explain things to you in a way you will understand. He gives you quality instruction and does not waste your time or money. He is well worth a call and makes for an excellent teacher.

When I decided to start flying I searched for several weeks to see who would be a good fit. I came across Sean Stone with High Sierra Pilots Club and did my research. How knowledgeable is he? Does he have good oral skills? Will he be patient? Is he professional?Sean Stone surpassed all my expectations as an instructor. With his enthusiasm for aviation he has rubbed off on me to continue furthering my ratings as a pilot. He has a wealth of knowledge and continues to impress me everyday.

Couldn’t recommend Sean Stone enough as your flight instructor. Flying had been a dream of mine for years, and Sean definitely put in the work to help me realize my goals. He provide ample resources for success along the way and definitely made me feel like I was getting my money’s worth out of each lesson. I was able to go from no flight experience to feeling confident enough to take and pass the exam for a Private Pilot license in only two months. I highly doubt this would have been possible without the dedication, experience, and energy put in by an instructor like Sean. He provided all the resources and guidance to facilitate learning in and out of the cockpit and provided excellent instruction while flying to minimize time and money spent. Learning to fly is a big expense, but couldn’t recommend Sean enough!

Sean was able to accommodate my schedule and it felt like me was tailoring each lesson for me. He also gave me good tools and showed me what to study on my own to maximize our time together while keeping cost very reasonable. 10/10 would recommend him for flight training.
