Wow! Didnt know European Fitness gym is so great. It is large, it is clean. It has so many exercise machines, you never wait for your turn. Love the swimming pool! Everything looks SO new, and the air is SO fresh. Hidden gem.

I signed up a couple months ago. I let the manager know that I might have to move so I’d have to cancel then. The manager let me know that I was not in contract, only that after a year the monthly goes down. He said if I move I can cancel with no extra charge. I signed up here over other gyms because of that. My partner did not sign up because she felt uncomfortable with the “salesman” approach of the manager. She was right, I am now having to move and the gym will not let me cancel without paying off my account. They keep saying that I am in contract even when both my partner and I explain the situation. I don’t leave reviews but I hope this may help someone else. The money isn’t the problem, thankfully I can pay the fee before I move out of the country, but the deceitful sales strategy to get the signatures is unethical and manipulative.

I just joined European Fitness Center. Simon greeted me and Adam showed me around the gym. I signed up for a very affordable monthly fee. Adam the trainer showed me many pieces of equipment, now I have a card to follow. I invited my daughter to visit and David showed her around, we took a Water Arobics class.Loved it. Met some nice people. So glad we chose European Fitness Center. Also try the Hidden Bistro.A fantastic restaurant inside the fitness center.Prime rib dip....incredible! Do not go to this gym please.The owner of this establishment a big lair.because when ever you go sign up for membership, he promises you a lot training classes for free. And also he will tell you. You will have access for pool and hot top and etc. but it’s not true. They never fill in the contract.what you sign up for. when I went in there after a few days later to cancel my membership, they said no. Trying to quit your membership is impossible . If you don’t pay them because they did not fill in their contract. Then they send letter for collection service. I wont be going back to this gym again.and I would never recommend anyone to this place.

This place should be named Best Gym in the World, because it is. The guy who runs ot, Simon, is great, the staff is great, and the patrons are awesome (and ots not a bunch of intimidating, perfect people). Im going back after a period of disability and cant wait to see the remodel.

Love the place...they were so nice ...the building is immaculate...beautiful redu...and I love the pool!...

My nail tech is in this building and for the first time I was grilled about where I was going when I walked in the building. There is no bathroom services for the salon people to provide to their clients and the bathroom upstairs looks to be painted over and not noticable to find.

Dont know bout no barber shop never been but the weight area is cool

Just joined today! It really is $25 a month all inclusive. Pool is open but not hot pool or hot rooms.

The people who own and run this place as a family are all very sweet and welcoming. I love this place. Its never overly crowded and has all the necessary equipment to get your workout in. I will be staying here as the location is convenient, the price is more than fair and the cleanliness is always pristine.The only con is the fact that the place could use just one wooden platform for deadlifts. But, other than that, I love the equipment. The pool and locker room area are very nice as well. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

I like everything about this gym Im a free weight guy and they have a decent amount of free weights so no ones ever having to wait for any type of equipment I can go in there push hard take a swim and go home I love the atmosphere and the people that are part of the community there staff is always been friendly an accommodating I give this place a 5-star review because it deserves a 5-star review so if youre thinking about joining stop thinking and just do it come in for a tour and sign up

I’ve been at European fitness for about 2 months and I couldn’t have made a better choice! They have so many amenities there literally something for everyone. Their restaurant inside is awesome for a quick bite and a shake on the go. The staff is always smiling and the gym is never packed so you can always get in and get your work out on. I am beyond happy to be a member and I’d recommend anyone to join this gym.

It is really good place to workout, it gets crowded at times but people respectful your space, a bunch of areas to workout, conditioning strength building and more!!

BEWARE, most reviews on google are from the staff pressuring people into a raffle if they leave a review. Check yelp for real reviews of the gym.Staff is unwelcoming & act like members are a bother to them. Outside of trying to get people to sign up for raffles/buy overpriced protein shakes they will not even make eye contact with you, owner included.2/2/2 flat, adjustable benches & squat racks. Very limited options for cable machines. Not much room in weight area.They will try to hustle you by lying about contracts and make you pay more months than needed. STAY AWAY. Dont make the same mistake that plenty of us have made until they felt that it was necessary to get first time people to leave false reviews.

I have been coming here for years and highly recommend this fitness center to my friends and family. I have had church members and friends join here over the years. Family as well!! I have always been treated with the utmost respect and dignity by Simon, Vicky David and Monique!! I love this place because I started coming here right after my last back surgery and I progressed very well with the water aerobics class in the morning. Pat is a wonderful instructor who has a total body work out plan. I am very happy with my membership here and highly recommend this place for anyone looking to improve their health and wellness!!! Keep up the good work and the improvements are AWESOME 👏!!!!

Love this place and can’t beat it for the price. We love using the sauna and cold plunge everyday. It’s really helped not only our physical health but our mental health too. 10/10

I joined this gym due to their abundance of free weights, which is what I was looking for in a gym. However, most of the 5 star reviews are due to managment pressuring new members to give them a 5 star review to win a giveaway prize or something else of that nature. The gym is rather basic, the equipment looks older, and the cleaning supplies they had was a communal rag with a spray bottle. Not worth it in my opinion, I can get better equipment, more equipment and newer equipment all at planet fitness, with a larger area and less people. I think there are better gyms with less people, along with a better atmosphere at a cheaper price.

This club has everything you could ask for and more. There is a pool, chiropractor, salon, and a restaurant. You can literally spend the entire day here and the monthly rate is unbeatable. We signed up right away!! Very excited to begin our new fitness journey.

Staff is extremely friendly, a nice atmosphere to be getting your work out done. So many things offered here. Absolutely amazing!

My favorite part is the sauna but all around a nice gym here in town. Great equipment. I even watched the raiders game while I was working out today :)

Its a Great Gym and it comes with many benefits. As good as it gets for the price of the membership and it has plenty of room for everyone. If you would like to know more or to join its located on Virginia Street in Reno, NV. It doesnt take much to live a little bit more of a healthier life. When you first become a member you do have a year lease with them. After that year is up your membership fee drops and you can choose to put a hold on your account if your not going to use it. As some Gyms charge $50-$100 to use there amenities and have access to there Exercise Equipment European Fitness Center charges roughly $25. Its a Great Deal and The Staff are Excellent! They give you a tour of the place to show you where everything is located and can be accessed by the hours shown at location. Honestly if you want to lift weights, treadmill, swim, suntan, get your hair or nails done or eat some really healthy food check out European Fitness Center. I love this gym. Very good price for the amount of amenities they provide. If you are serious about working out and getting into shape, this is the perfect place. You dont have to sit and wait for the machine. Can get a workout done in 30 minutes if you would like. The staff is very very great. They treat you like family. I for one, will always come back. They are very friendly here and knowledgeable about fitness . I like the fact that it has a lot of weight machines a pool , hot tub and three sauna rooms one is a steam room and a regular sauna, also a inhalation room It’s quiet here especially on the weekends. There is also a Mexican restaurant upstairs if you get hungry after your workout..

European fitness center is really cool, I joined a couple years ago. I was given a really good discount when I joined the first time. The second time I joined I was even more motivated because of the upgrades.

I like that i can do my work outs without any interruptions and I havent had an accident with any of the machines in the gym.

Best Gym to put in work💯💯💪

My family and I have been going to this place for two months because we have a membership and a contract for 12 months, before signing the contract everything was very good, but then that changed radically, today of March 11 I went with my daughter We had a week without being able to go, and they ran us in the worst way and the other day we were just speechless because we were in the pool laughing a bit and the manager passed and he fell us very abruptly, and they do not help you if it is not by appointment, at first I thought other people complained about nonsense, but its not like that, really the man who attends this place has no idea that its customer service, he also offers karate classes that they do not have, My daughter and I have two months registered in which we only spend one day a week for an hour and a half, only to be treated with arrogance and discrimination. Before going to the European, my husband and I went to Sport West, it seemed clean and nice, but we decided the European because it is 4 minutes from my house and we really thought that we made a bad decision, now we only have to pay this contract. While They make money so easy.

What I love about this place is that it’s cheap and the gym is always clean!

I have to leave another review because I use this account more anyways and Ive been back at European Fitness Center for a few weeks now ... My daughter just started martial arts and LOVES IT!! Im so stoked that they offer classes for children her age and am blown away by the member discounts offered for all of the services/classes provided!! I am also seriously impressed with all of the new equipment here and love that its not some dumb snobby fashion contest where people are just getting in the way instead of actually working out like some other places. I love this gym and highly recommend trying it out here before spending a ton of money somewhere else in town.

European fitness center has all the free weights, treadmills, stair steppers etc found in any or most gyms. What makes it different is attention to cleanliness, a swimming pool, a tanning facility, a hot tub and cool pool, on site light dining restaurant, two hair and nail salons, a dry and wet sauna, clean locker rooms, a massage therapist, a very friendly atmosphere where one can easily associate with other members. I can relate to another recent review that was posted here. I wasnt sure about posting it but I feel needs to be heard. For a positive note, this gym has beautiful equipment, nice pool, and is clean environment. What is still upsetting to me is how i joined. Last year I won a drawing to try a free month there. After I was given a tour, one of their male members sat with me and constantly tried to get me to join their gym because it was a good deal and this was the only best time to join. I mentioned that I had just moved close by the area and that I wasnt sure. Also I pointed out that this was the only gym they had and that it may get very crowded. Still, he was very persistent that I should take this deal. He mentioned that people from Lake Tahoe drive all the way to come to this gym because its a great gym. I felt uncomfortable & felt the pressure was getting to me. I read through the papers he showed me and he still persisted that I joined. So I decided to join, sadly big mistake. I went through some hardships and I had to call and come in person to explain my situation. I was hoping they would cancel my account but their financial department said that they would freeze my account for a few months instead. Tho I am grateful they did that, now I am still being charged per month. Last I spoke with them, I updated the financial department that I no longer live in Sparks,NV but i felt they didnt care. So now Im stuck paying for a gym that I no longer go to. Its very stressful because money is very tight for me & I wish they would appreciate my effort and be more understanding. I hope this review is helpful for others. Only join this if you are positive you have a permanent place to live and are commited. Also, try not to let any one push, pressure or bully you into commiting into something youre not sure about.

I got into this gym by way of the monthly free membership drawings and have enjoyed my experience thus far. The staff were flexible with my monthly rates and the amenities are stellar. The ongoing upgrades to their workout equipment are a bit of an inconvenience, but I am confident the new equipment will be better than before. I hope to use this gym for some time to come.

I really dig the kids club. That way I don’t have to schedule out a baby sitter to get some workout time in.

Ive been going to this gym for about a year now and I thoroughly love working out here. The staff is very friendly and helpful as far as giving advice or tips to enhance your workouts and achieve your goals! I used to have a membership to Fitness Connection but it was always way too packed and you would have to wait to get the machines or weights you wanted but I never have this issue here even at the busy times of the day. Ive even gotten a few of my friends to transfer to this gym and they also love it. Go give it a try!

I have always liked coming here and used to be a member when I was 19-20. I came back today and am so excited to be back!! They have all new equipment, a restaurant, pool, sauna, classes and multiple spa services, but the best part is that they are freaking affordable with no startup fee!!! Not to mention convenient location =) Highly recommend checking it out, even if youve been a member in the past, come check out the new remodel because it could be more than worth it if you end up joining and saving your own health/life.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming its like coming home when I walk in the door. The personal trainer David helped design a fitness plan for my hubby and I to achieve our goals quickly. He was knowledgeable on fitness as well as healthy eating habits. They offer more than just a gym, its a fitness club. Offering a gym, pool, sauna/steam rooms, tanning, masseuse, chiropractor, teeth whitening, salon, restaurant, fitness classes like yoga and Zumba, karate for kids & adults, and a personal trainer to guide you in your health journey. This place really is a diamond in the rough! Cant wait to go back and workout again!

Ive been going to this gym for 4 years now and Ive never had a bad experience. The staff are nice and respectful and the other members are great people to be around. Ive tried other local gyms, but Euopean Fitness is the only one that Ive stuck with. It has affordable monthly fees and is an all around great environment. I highly recommend it.

I love this gym everyone is nice and friendly! I needed help getting a workout routine so they offered free personal training and put a whole routine together for me! My whole family works out here and its a great atmosphere. 5 stars for sure!

Best gym in Reno!

I love that it has a sauna! I signed up for the sauna, but I stayed for all the equipment, cardio, space and hot tub! Staff is nice and there is a really cool room on the second level thats huge and full of mirrors, they have classes, but its open for anything when classes are not in session. Will continue coming.

Ive been going to European fitness for 3 months now and I love it. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly as well as eager to help anyone understand and reach their health and fitness goals. This gym has a great variety of equipment, a pool, steam room, sauna etc and compared to other gyms theyre very affordable for what they offer. I really like the convenient location and hours. Theres still a lot I want to try and check out here, but so far its great!
