We love LBBA Richardson! Our kids participate in dance, parkour, and the Little Dragons karate program. The instruction is stellar, the classes are fun, and the instructors are inspiring and so knowledgeable! We always look forward to attending classes after school and we as parents even get to participate in the all ages classes with the kids. Who has time to workout with 3 kids? Taking a class with them is the perfect way to sweat, learn, exercise, and have fun in the process. The school loves to give back to the community and we are so blessed to know them. My son has been taking classes, going to after school programs and camp at Legendary for over 5 years. He went from a shy white belt to his 1st degree black belt at age 10. We dont just love this school, its programs and its staff. The family at Legendary is part of our family. There is no way we can recommend the Meltons and their schools highly enough. They changed our sons life, and thereby our lives, in incredibly positive ways. You cannot go wrong trusting your kids to Legendarys fantastic programs and staff!!

Lone Eagle Fighting Arts is an amazing karate studio! Ever since day one, they have been more than just a place to learn karate. The family-owned business works hard to create a environment where the students, both children and adults alike, can learn, grow, and feel cared about. The family feeling extends beyond the studio with family field trips and parents night out. They have an amazing spring break camp and summer camp too. My son started taking classes at Lone Eagle after being referred by some friends. That referral was one of the best things that has ever happened to our family. Now all 3 of us, my husband, my son and I are taking classes together. But more than that, we have found a new community, an extended family. The Melton family teaches and leads by example and the example they set for everyone involved in the school is exemplary. Everyone is valued, respected and encouraged to participate at whatever level they happen to be at. All of the teachers are warm and encouraging. The students with higher belts are expected to mentor and teach the lower belts. I cannot recommend Lone Eagle Fighting Arts highly enough for anyone looking for a place to help their children not only learn martial arts, but to grow as caring, respectful individuals.

Where do I start... My son had been going to a afterschool program at a local daycare since he started Kindergarten, he is now enrolled in the 3rd grade. I thought that was the only solution for us, since I needed DAILY school pickup and someone to watch him till after 6PM. I didnt think a Martial Arts Academy would do that.I reached out to the elementary school fb page because I was looking for other options and learned about Legendary Black Belt Academy. I reached out and immediately got a response from one of the owners, Wes. Not only does the Academy pick my son up from school daily, they have a teacher helping with homework daily followed by Martial Arts Classes. They are extremely reasonable in price, compared to what I was already paying for after-school daycare. Plus he gets to learn something new and participate in a sport!My son started about 6 months ago, and has already graduated to his second belt, which is super motivating for young ones. I know nothing about Martial Arts, but my son has been in tune, and loves learning every day. They teach everything from respect, honor, life skills, and karate!The staff at the academy is extremely helpful, flexible, and kind. Theyre not picky about you arriving 1 minute late like other facilities. No crazy fees, either. I was worried I would have to sign myself up for all these competitions or after work activities, which I honestly would not be able to handle as a single mom working full time. You can participate as much or as little as you would like in the program. I couldnt ask for a better place for my son. I could not recommend them enough. This place is owned by two brothers ( Wes & Whitt) and their hearts are in the right place, definitely family oriented.SUMMARY: Place is amazing, affordable price, go check them out, family oriented!

My daughter, Zoe, has been attending classes here for 3 years, starting as a Little Dragon and now an Advanced Karate Kid. She loves the new location, the staff that treats you like family and the owners. When searching for an Afterschool program for my daughter I came across Legendary Blackbelts Academy online. We had other options but Im so glad we chose this place. They instill discipline, self control, and respect in each child. My daughter has issues with effectively communicating her feelings and I really hope with her activity participating in Karate will help with her behavior not just at school but within her everyday life routine! Excellent martial arts school!The staff does a remarkable job w teaching traditional values in every class.Being run by a family of police officers, the Melton family totally knows what theyre doing!

Today, Sensei Wes and Ms. Mel presented the most wonderful anti-bullying lesson to all of our classes! The students were highly engaged, active, and are still talking about how much they loved it. They taught them so many life lessons in just a 45 minute class. We love Lone Eagle!!!

WE LOVE IT! MY DAUGHTER AND MY SON JUST RECENTLY STARTED THEIR CLASSES, AND THEY LOVE IT! I WAS CONCERNED OF THEM SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR TABLETS AND NOT DOING ANYTHING PRODUCTIVE AT HOME, SO I CAME ACROSS THE LONE EAGLE FIGHTING ARTS 72 HOUR DEAL ON FB. I SIGN THEM UP, AND I TOOK THEM. MY SON WAS KIND OF NOT SURE ABOUT JOINING THE CLASS, BUT THE INSTRUCTORS MADE SURE HE FELT COMFORTABLE BY NOT PUSHING HIM INTO HAVING TO JOIN THE CLASS. AFTER SITTING DOWN FOR 15 MINUTES, HE GOT UP TO GET DRESSED, AND JOIN THE CLASS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING MY KIDS AND MANY KIDS THE OPPORTUNITY OF LEARNING SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP THEM AND IT WILL STICK TO THEM FOREVER!

I find Legendary Black Belt Academy (LBBA) To be a family oriented business with lots of History in regards to martial arts and they have array of instructors with their own personal spin at LBBALBBA has made my son a better person all the way around. Theyve encouraged him to work through his sensory and bullying issues. also showing him what perseverance is and that with perserverance you can go far. They encouraged all kids to be respectfu,l to their parents, teachers, friends, and family. They teach them to have an all good personality. All while they are learning the art of Taekwondo.Even though my kid is not in their after-school programs. From what I have witness with other kids, Is LBBA try to make sure that all the kids are being stimulated in the way each individual kid needs to be stimulated. its seems like good after school program. They even have a tutor come into help kids out with their homework.I personally would recommend Legendary Black Belt Academys afterschool program and there martial art classes to my friends and family members.

Lone Eagle Fighting Arts is the Number one Martial Arts school in North Texas being completely honest no other schools compare to what Lone Eagle Fighting Arts gives families. My son Aedan Has been at Lone Eagle since March 2015 and he is an amazing kid through Lone Eagle my son has gained more confidence. He was bullied and now thats stopped and Lone Eagle taught him how to handle that. He has more friends and people are drawn to his energy now. The Meltons have created a family environment and created a safe place that allows you to learn real techniques that can ultimately save your life. The Meltons are the best people I know. And they are teaching Leadership, Discipline, and Community Responsibility. Lone Eagle is a family and Im proud to be apart of it. As parents all we can hope for is to raise well adjusted kids. Some times it takes a village glad to have the Meltons in mine!!!!

Lone Eagle has been a blessing for my family since we first joined a year ago ..first my eldest son Edgar started doing the after school program and has been gaining in confidence and has increased focus and much better discipline since being with lone eagle .. he already passed 2 belt gradings which he was so excited about and now my youngest son has joined also ... they both are full time attendeeesIf the summer camp which they cant wait to get to every day because of all the different activities and day trips ... they love the dodgeball the most !!The owners are in the dallas police force and one of the owners who is now a retired dallas police officer is there full time so my boys couldnt be in better and safer hands ..If youre looking for an after school program or a summer camp or even martial arts and life skills for your kids .. this is definitely your first port of call ... because the peace of mind you will have and most importantly the fun your kids will have is what makes this the safest and fun place you can entrust your kids to .. thank you lone eagle for everything !

My children and I have been taking classes from Lone Eagle for about 6 months now and we have nothing but good things to say. Our children are 6 and 4 and Sensei Whitt is incredibly patient (and imaginative!) with the children in the Little Dragons classes, allowing them to have fun but also teaching discipline and learning some techniques as well. Then for the older age groups you often get to learn from a member of the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Master Steve Melton, in addition to a wonderful complement of black belts. You work hard and all the instructors instill discipline and excellence, yet at the same time endeavor to make it fun and enjoyable. Senseis Whitt, Wes, and Stephanie are working hard to create a martial arts family and a sense of community and we are thrilled to be a part of it.

Our family has been at Lone Eagle for about a year and we couldnt be happier. We looked at several places before we decided on LEFA and I so glad we made the choice to go with them. Weve watched our 6 year olds confidence grow (the reason we started in the first place) and our 4 year old has a blast in the Little Dragon classes. The teachers are a great mix of firmness and kindness and all of the belts work together to help each other learn. You can really tell how invested the owners are in Lone Eagle, they are constantly working to build a sense of community and theyve had some really great events outside of the dojo. Ive been taking Tae Kwon Do at the LEFA dojo for 3 years and its been a wonderful experience. Not only do I get a great workout, but Im learning great methods to defend myself!

My son is a student here since last year and as a parent not only does he enjoy the experience but its an excellent family environment. Here it is more than karate but there a plethora of activities and community events.
