The instructors and tutors at this Kumon Center are professional and dedicated. They care about every student and always ready to offer guidance. During this pandemic, I am impressed with how they safely re-opened the center to continue their mission in educating students. As a teaching assistant, working at this location with Mrs. Anh and the rest of the staff has been both fun and challenging. Theres a lot of planning and discussions that happens behind the scenes to ensure that all of our students are learning at their own pace so that they wont fall behind. Some students will excel with their work, and some students will struggle. Our goal is to help these students build a solid foundation with their math and/or reading subjects while pushing them for excellence. What I love about my team and my experience working at this center is that we all try our best to help the students overcome their own academic challenges. If one particular method of teaching doesnt work, we try to use a different method to see if the student will understand. The accomplishments of every student (no matter how big or small) are celebrated, because watching each and every student grow over time is a very rewarding experience.

As an assistant instructor who have been growing along with the center for the last three years, one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed would be the relationship between the center and the community built around it. The staff members provide consistent work ethic and are gaining knowledge and experience as they teach and learn from their students on a daily basis. The communication and trust between the parents and the center are always present, always sincere and honest. The community has grown in numbers through the years but also in its strong foundation through the support of all students, parents, and staff members.

Kumon of Richmond-Libbie has done an outstanding job in creating a healthy learning environment with their smart strategic safety measures and cleaning procedures. All students are encouraged to always do their best regardless of their learning abilities under the caring guidance of well-trained staff members. Parents like myself throughly enjoyed seeing our children develop strong foundation for learning and establish well-disciplined study habits for a life time. Highly recommended!!!

The quality of Kumon center on W. Broad Street is exceptional! I was very impressed when I first set my foot into the center. The owner was very caring and was dedicated in helping the children learn. The staff was very polite and hard working. Its the best place to send your children to.

Great Kumon Center! We joined Kumon to give a head start for our kids (2.5 yo and 4.5 yo). Since starting Kumon, noticed improvements in their math and reading. All staff members are great! They are friendly, patient with students, and they care about students learning. Highly recommend this center!

I’ve been taking my kids here ever since they turned 3. I can honestly say that my boys love the center and all the instructors so much! Mrs Anh, the lead instructor is very attentive to making sure they understand the material as well as enjoying it. They both have accelerate and achieved so much in both reading and math. Based on personal experiences, the staff are very willing to help. The moment a student walks through the door, the staff greet him or her with a genuine smile and encouraging words. Wonderful staff. I am always an advocate for helping others learn, and the owner of this location, Anh, has a passion for exactly that. Everyone working there seems to really want to help children progress, and also communicate well with adults to create a very smooth and efficient learning environment.

Being a Kumon parent for over a bunch of years, I can surely say that it helps the kid not only in academics but also gives them a all round development. My kid has become more patient, has learnt resilience and is more confident overall. It makes it all the more effective if the instructors are like Mrs. Anh who is very caring and has a great balance of discipline and fun loving attitude. We all love and respect her.

All the instructors at this center put in a lot of effort and care with each student that walks through their doors. In addition to the communication with the students, the instructors also put in a lot of care into communicating with the parents in order to form plans towards a certain goal for the student (ex. not counting fingers, faster math facts, better handwriting, etc) so that classwork and homework correlate with each other.

The staffs are super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very motivational and comfortable at the same time. Overall great place to learn and enrich your knowledge!

I love the staff! They are so patient, loving, and caring towards the students. Especially in a covid-19 pandemic like this, they work even harder to tutor and teach our kids. My three kids are enrolled in the Kumon math program here at the Richmond-Libbie center. Ms. Anh and her assistants would give them math worksheets as an assignment every day. These math practice sheets have not only improved my kids math skills, but also trained them to work hard and persevere to overcome obstacles. Ms. Anh also opens on Saturdays to accommodate us since we live far away from the center. We really appreciate her steadfast support to my kids math education. The fact that all three of them excel in math at school is a testimony to the Kumon centers success.

Although none of my four kids attended Mrs Anh Kumon program, they were taught by her under the Eucharistic Youth program for many years. Mrs Anh is a teacher whom always goes beyond the call of duty to create the best possible learning environments for kids. She has extremely high standards and always strives for excellence

Three of my children used to be enrolled there. During their time there at Kumon, all the staff were very patient and friendly. They were eager to encourage my kids to go further and surpass their limits. In terms of communication, they were on top of it. They always kept me updated on anything going on at Kumon, my children’s education, and more.

The staff assembled here are dedicated to improving the weaknesses/needs of the children that attend. My son has improved his scores within two weeks since enrollment! KUMON has taught me a lot and Im sure that I will continue to learn more in my KUMON career.
