Location is a bit hard to find. It’s located in one building with multiple businesses. The entrance is in the front and (GIS) is located you the back left. It’s actually a nice testing place that professional. Better then my testing at MSU in Michigan. The location isn’t very appealing and everything seems to be barely within guidelines to be a testing center. For me it’s not a huge issue I don’t need a fancy location to test but want to make it clear it’s very makeshift. Desks are divided with cardboard and tape as an example.Overall it’s good at doing what you need. So if you’re looking to take a test this will do.

I scheduled my oracle java certification exam at this center. Best thing about it is its available on Saturday. Most of test centers are closed over weekend. Its availability is high. You can write exam here within a week. At centers you have to wait for at least 2 weeks. Representative at this center is not very good in his communication. He talks very fast and not clear. Computers are bit old and place not very clean. Overall i am fine because it’s waiting time is very low. I recommend others to try this exam center.

Arrived early along with others taking different tests. Wyatt, our test administrator was professional and efficient. He helped me set up my test early and provided everything I needed for the test very quickly. I was in and out within 2 hours. There are multiple rooms set up for different exams. Rooms were clean and prepared for testing.I arrived early on a weekday so that may have helped with traffic.

A little hard to find at first, but my CLEP went as smooth as butter. The keyboards may need replacing with newer ones soon. There are lockers with lock and key to hold your belongings while taking the test. The proctor is friendly and helpful. Free water to drink at any time.

Wow. This place. Its a Microsoft certified training center that offers certification tests. Ive taken a few tests here and most were on time. This one was 30 minutes late. While the person running the front desk is great (Yeah Wyatt!) the rest of the place is run down, shabby, and obviously the lowest effort has been taken to maintain and modernize it. For example, in the testing rooms cables are bunched together with wire bread bag ties and held on the wall with metal hooks. The dividers between testing stations are cheap plastic panels taped together and held in place by jury rigged supports. I was so close to another tester I could feel his breath on my arm. The computers are old but that doesnt matter as the testing software is made to run on older machines. The monitors are tiny, as are the testing desks, which makes seeing the Azure test screens very difficult. It has to be the most depressing place to take any test Ive seen. Im not asking to test in a Taj Mahal but can I at least have a testing center without a Mens room that looks like a museum exhibit for third world prisons and a building that doesnt smell of mold and mildew? Which is odd because the building in Fairfax, from at least the outside, looks new and modern. The one in Richmond looks like a fallout shelter built and last maintained in 1964. They do have lockers for your prohibited items which is a nice touch. If Microsoft wants their technologists to feel as if achieving an Azure Cert is an upscale experience, GIT is sadly falling short.

The testing center is not super nice, but it does the job. It has computers at desks. The desks are a little too close for comfort, but they were able to move me from the door to the corner when requested. They get two stars instead of three because the proctor was late. He was stuck in traffic (or so he said). Im from DC. There is not enough traffic in Richmond to warrant being late. When youre taking a stressful test, the last thing you need is to be freaking out and wondering if you are actually going to be able to take the test you had prepared for. I completely lost my focus and was instead on the phone trying to figure out a back-up plan in the event nobody showed.

Got my Autodesk certification here, it was ROUGH! The guy running the tests was great but he had to juggle like a dozen people AT ONCE BY HIMSELF! Not okay. In addition, the computer I had to use SUCKED! No joke, I run this program at home on a used off lease laptop with a business chipset and my 3+ year old laptop stone cold smoked the desktop theyre trying to run this program on. Autodesk literally froze and the guy had to restart the program DURING my timed exam and the timer didnt stop.Load times for the simple models were slow 8-10 seconds for some and when trying to rotate or manipulate the model, the computer would stutter and skip. In addition, the building and office are are on the run down and sketchy side of normal.Long story short, I hope the test proctor gets a raise, then a better job, then another raise. Whoever does their equipment purchasing and upgrading should be fired and not allowed to make decisions that affect other people ever AGAIN. If youre doing a test that runs an easy computer program, youre probably okay. DO NOT TAKE AUTODESK EXAMS HERE unless you know it cold and youre moderately disinterested in success, the suck computer will fight you HARD! Some of the models also wouldnt execute necessary commands (Ive run through the practice tests for these a dozen times) but I think thats the certification companys files and not GIT.

I had to take two exams there. The guy that works there is really nice and the atmosphere made my three and a half hour test a little more bearable
