Great place to dance. Instructors are excellent, always encouraging and they make learning to dance a lot of fun.

Distance Ballroom dancing can be done.

I have been a student at Simply Ballroom for over three years and if I could give them a 10 star I would. What stands out for me is the structure in the way they teach. Their dedication and family atmosphere makes it a place I look forward to sometimes five to six times a week. They have given me a new passion in life--Ballroom Dancing!

My husband and I love Simply Ballroom! The place is spacious, welcoming and clean. The owners/managers/teachers are wonderful at their craft. Even a flatfooted hippo could learn to dance here. I love their monthly plan. We can budget our expense easily and can drop in to any dance class and the Friday night lesson and party plus private lessons for a flat fee. I highly recommend this place to anyone, singles or couples because the group classes are always fun learning experiences and the private lessons help polish your style.Post COVID update: Simply Ballroom is better than ever, all teachers are vaccinated and so are most students. Those that are hesitant can stay with their partners, others can chose to dance in rotation with others to deepen the learning experience. We are so glad to be back in the swing of things...😘

Never danced in my life, and after deciding to make good on a promise to my lady to take her dancing, went ahead and came to Simply Ballroom for a group beginners session. Two types of dance was introduced and with a little laughter, feet flying, and some music i found myself moving in a way never thought possible. Far away from calling myself a dancer, it was a highly enjoyable hour, and we are looking forward to going back. Heidi was great as was everyone else who made us feel welcome. Try it.

I found the instruction for a beginner to be excellent. After learning the basic steps, the teachers/owners have moved on to correcting my technique (quite a challenge), but they break it down into small steps. The studio is one of the best I have visited in Richmond and the surrounding area. The dance floors are large, the bathrooms clean, and the seating comfortable. Their Friday night dances are great with good food and music.
