I think that tuckahoe is an okay place I mean its school your not always going to like it. This is to all of these people putting hate comments. Tuckahoe does have a bug problem and you know why? Because its nature Im sure youve found a bug somewhere in your house. To be honest with you when you have a friend that you know you can tell anything to then there your true friends. If you have a friend that you dont feel like you can tell anything to the guess what there not your friends. Im not the most popular kid in school. Im probably the most weird kid in school and guess what I still have friends. I have people I hate and I have people that I dont hate but the people that I do hate I hate them for a reason and the reason most of the time is because there going through something really bad/sad and they dont want to be the only one that is feeling down. So tuckahoe is truly a really good school and you will really enjoy!!!! And I will be your friend if you cant make any!

This school was OK. There were a few fights and a LOT of broken windows.Like I was standing outside my french class and someones arm just bust through the window next to me. the gym was OK and my bus driver was chill even when there was an Accidental wrestling match on the bus. it wasnt that bad of a yearP.S. The worst part was I had gym as my last block so I had to run across the campus to get a good seat on the bus.

Alright there is so many things wrong with this school.1 The math teachers suck at their job2 Its invested with bugs3 They decide to build during the school year and it hurts to breath because of the fumes4 The cafeteria food can kill you5 people are over stressed by the the teaching systems6 Computer are cheap asf7 The math teachers point to the boards and says 1 or 2 things and if you ask a question they only repeat themselves8 Everyone sucks at their job9 The hallways are disgusting along with the bathroom10 Teachers do not provide >:(SO BASICALLY THIS SCHOOL IS BAD

I went there for 6-8 grade and I loved it. It was so much better than high school. Im 20 now so I dont know how much has changed. I havent been there since I left in 8th grade but I have seen it. It looks the same. I loved my experience at TMS. I hope it hasnt changed too much.

All 5 of my children have attended TMS and all have had wonderfull opportunities to explore their interests. The administration is responsive amd proactive. The campus is like being in a park its so beautiful. I pay a premium to live in the area just to be in the school district

As far as the learning environment goes. Its a good school, but I do think the teachers and school counselors should do more things that have to do with mental health such as, depression, anxiety, and managing stress. Also, it is probably the least trans-friendly school I have ever gone to. There are no student accessible gender-neutral bathrooms and even the nurses office is gendered. They should also acknowledge that not everyone in the family life classes is cisgender and that their gender may not correspond with the sex they were assigned at birth. When I was in family life it caused me a lot of gender dysphoria as a trans kid because they would call us all ladies, and thats not cool. The teachers there are pretty nice, but most of them are kind of sexist and cisheteronormative, but I blame society for that not the teachers. Those are my only remarks about the school and I have enjoyed my time here as a student, but I am glad to go.

This school is horrible! When I was in 6th grade a student pepper sprayed my a classroom and I was one on the kids in there! I think they should really check the kids backpacks even if its a girl because some of the teachers are sexists and they only favor the girls even though Im a girl I dont think that is fair, all gender must be treated equally even if they are bad. Also I really think they they should watch out for kids because some of the kids bully one another. Also my friend stabbed a another kids hand because he threatened her that he would put glue in her hair and my friend did get punished for it, but the boy didnt get punished for threatening her, last time I heard threatening is part of the code of conduct, but then my friends parents called the school and told them that he should be punished which I agree! So overall this school was the worst school Ive ever been to even my elementary school Three Chopt Elementary had a better rating! The school should really read the comments and change the school a little bit! LIKE IF YOU AGREE! Im the parent of a current TMS student and am, overall, pleased with the quality of the education at TMS. The infrastructure of the school needs attention and I believe improvements are on the way thanks to an active PTA.

This school is awful it smells like butt cheese in the cafeteria all the time there is no room to sit and the teachers dont use the no child left behind rule the worst teacher of all is 8th grade math teacher miss melia all she dose is stare at you and make you do the math program. There are always bugs and stuff in the classrooms and the hallways. They got all that money they should have torn down the school and built a new one. Future students of this school I am warning you if and when you get to 8th grade you should recommend switching out of melia and mayhalls class I am a hone role student and when it came down to the end of the year because i didnt pass those to sols then they wanted to help me. Because it would hurt the area and there school system. This school needs improving.

I love this school tbh. When I go back to my home in Sri Lanka, I will definately remember this beautiful school. Although the girls with certain pants, this school definately did a life changer for me in my stay in America. Although, there are a few things to consider:*There was NO Sri Lankan themes/accessories in this school. So no 5-stars. Absolutely no Sri Lankans in this school as well.*There is this kid named Jacob Taylor, who played football as well as Charlie Martin and soccer-player Charlie Unice. These 3 kids did a life changer. Not to say others didnt but I had to think of a few kids.*The bathrooms always had kids coming in. I got one kid who came in and he starts punching me.*Mohammed Shabir Gujjar never went here, so thats another -1 star.*Mr. Gregory. Yup, just Mr. Gregory.

As a 7th grade student up at Tuckahoe Middle School, I have really liked it. The education is awesome. I able to easily get help from the teacher, if necessary. Although the fights are constant, the other students could maybe help a little bit instead of complaining. I have not heard one racist thing from the teachers either. I have made friends with all of my teachers. Like I said, if a student of the 7th grade can make friends with the teachers and have a good education. I have only one C right now and that is it. Did you know that TMS is the best middle school in Henrico county?
