My experiences with KRK Waterside has been very positive. They have been very welcoming since the beginning and have continued this atmosphere throughout my kids stay there. The ladies have been very informative with any parenting questions that I throw at them which has been very helpful! I would highly recommend the KRK Waterside for any of your baby/kid daycare needs.

Our whole family absolutely loves Kids R Kids Waterside! My son (now 13 months old) began here when he was 9 months after having a horrible covid-related experience at a nearby daycare. Kids R Kids welcomed him with open arms and he immediately made friends with the staff and fellow classmates. The whole staff is extremely friendly and always happy to help and keep parents informed. Our older 2 kids joined them for summer camp this summer while school is out and also had a blast! They were excited to go every day, to learn and have fun with new friends. We just moved so unfortunately had to unenroll all 3 kids. We will miss Kids R Kids Waterside dearly! Thank you for all that you do!

My children have been going to KRK Waterside since 2017 and we couldnt be more pleased. The staff is caring, courteous, and professional. The teachers are amazing, and have taught my children so much. They are fair and fun! For as long as I need childcare and before/after school care, we will stay with KRK Waterside!

My kids are so happy here! Easiest transition weve ever made, and we have been to a lot of day cares. Alex the director has been amazing, anytime I have a question she is quick to respond. I love the cameras and being able to check on my kids whenever I want!

My son has been going here for over 4 years and I am so happy with the staff and facilities. The staff truly care for the kids, they are safe, clean, and teach respect. I couldnt ask for anything better, and have experienced much worse from other places. I truly appreciate the care and attention they give my son.

When Oakland had a waitlist for school-sponsored daycare, they took in my son immediately. They even put off the annual fee for a month depending on if the school opened more spots. My son is also special needs and they have been very forthcoming about his day. They also work with me and as a group for any adjustments that need to be made to work best with him. Both the morning and afternoon staff are in communication about how to help so there is consistency. One of the afternoon employees carries a blanket with her to calm him down if he has a tantrum. Another afternoon employee spoke with a special education instructor about implementing different things that may work for my son.

KidRKids Waterside is a wonderful place to send your kids. We’ve been at this location for over 3 years now and it’s been a positive experience for my kids especially with the new management under Ms. Alex. The management and teachers really care for the kids and take time to ensure that they are having a good time while also keeping them safe. They are also always willing to listen to your concerns and take corrective action immediately. The activities lined up for the kids are top notch, the food is good. KidsRKids Waterside is an all rounder.

My 3 year old daughter has been going to KRK Waterside since she was an infant. The administration that is in place is wonderful. They are flexible and very personable. I have such a relaxed rapport with them, that I know I can talk to them about anything and that they will truly listen. They are very accommodating for things such as dietary restrictions or preferences. You don’t have to be afraid of making special requests. The age ranges for the classes met my comfort more than other places, especially when she was younger. There were certain places that had too big of an age gap of kids in one class.Having the option to check in on your child through their camera system is a plus. I don’t log on as often as I did when my daughter was younger, but it’s nice to have the option. They always have lots of events and fun activities for the kids and have curriculums for all of the classes, based on the development of each age group. They utilize ABC Mouse, which is also a great learning tool.Their portal allows you to see nap, feeding, and bathroom schedules and habits, learning activities, behavior, and pictures for your child.Their messaging system for notifications is very prompt and informative, which they do through e-mail and text messaging, as well as the portal. This is all I can think of off the top of my head, but I’m very pleased with this group. I know that they actually care about my daughter and all of the families.

My child has been injured three times in a 5 month period in the 6-12 month classroom. Im not a little upset, IM LIVID. More recently, my son was bitten twice in a 6 day period by the SAME child. The response/reason I was given from Mr. Gonzalez (director) was this: children go through different stages and periods and sometimes they teethe and start biting. This is a very common and normal thing for children to go through. If that didnt upset me enough, he proceeded - ...this will probably happen a few more times... He didnt apologize to me one time and he kept interrupting me and talking over me every time I tried to speak.ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? I pay a ridiculous amount of money every week to ensure that those exact things DO NOT occur. Should I now expect my child to be hurt and injured every time I drop him off or pick him up?? I have NO trust in that director or the manager of that Kids R Kids. The ONLY silver lining here is that Mrs. Melissa is my sons classroom teacher and she shows that she loves and cares for my son very much. By the way, these incidents did not happen while Mrs. Melissa was in the classroom.

My kids loved it here. They were accepted into private school and I am grateful to the teachers and staff who worked with them and cared for them everyday. My kids still talk about Kids R Kids and miss their teachers. They came out of Pre-School knowing their ABCs, months of the year in English & Spanish, US states in alpha order, US Presidents in order, Continents, counting to 100, counting US coins and other skills. I couldnt be happier - I most likely will put them in the summer program. They go on awesome field trips!

Angelina was a huge help from the moment I wanted to enroll my daughter last minute. She made me feel welcome and the process was stress free and seamless. The facility is clean and smells good, unlike some others that I checked out in the area. Payments came out auto-draft so I never had to worry about writing checks or remembering to stop by the bank. Theres so many little things that make a difference, like the fresh coffee every morning when I drop off. The most important thing I can say about KRK Waterside, though, is that my daughter absolutely loved the staff! One day, I showed up early and the young gentlemen on staff had the kids lined up outside teaching them how to do drills and throw a football - I love that for my girl! And when it was her last week, she cried and hugged Mr. Sean and didnt want to let go. The staff is caring, kind, and I would highly recommend this place for your child care needs. Thank you for everything KRK!

To say I was mortified after taking my 3yr old to KRK today.....would be an understatement! This was my son’s first time in a daycare facility. Ms. Amanda made the transition unbelievably easy last week by showing true compassion and love for the children. Fast forward to week 2. Another lady has been placed in the class. I walked in and kids had mucus running into their mouths while she just sat there commanding them to sit down and be still. Which I found sort of difficult for 2-3 yr olds. After I told her it was my son’s first time in daycare, she did absolutely nothing to help make him feel welcomed or comfortable with her like Ms. Amanda did. I offered to get tissue for the kids noses that were running. She said no, she’d get it because the classroom was out of tissue. I insisted on finding something for their noses to be wiped. Mind you, these are not my children but I know that any parent WOULD NOT want mucus running into their babies mouths. I sat in the classroom a bit just to see if things would turn around. Nope......it got worse. I told her my son’s immune system was probably on overload, as he was sick last week, and I just wanted to be sure she was aware of how sensitive some of the kids maybe to the germs. She then proceeds to tell me her immune system was probably more compromised than all the kids combined and that they were all just suffering from allergies. I politely told her I was not a Dr. and couldn’t comment on that......I just wanted her to be aware of my son’s situation and quite honestly it disturbed me to the core to see an adult looking at children with mucus running into their mouths. I immediately addressed the situation with the front desk and the director. I received more of a shocked reaction from the young lady at the front than I did from the director. My oldest son went to Primrose and I think that’s were I will be taking my youngest as well! Childcare is super expensive and before you pay your hard earned money at facilities that watch your children.......please hang around....sit with your children. Watch the teachers interactions with your children and how your children respond to them! If you run in for 2 minutes a day and never really study these people.......you honestly don’t know if they truly care about your child’s well being or if they are ONLY there for a check!! Let’s just say I am DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED in this location and crushed because I honestly felt like that was the place for my baby!! Parents just beware!!

I am so sad to be saying goodbye to a school that has been taking careI am so sad to be saying goodbye to a school that has been taking care of my kiddos for 14 yrs! All 3 of my kids were cared for and taught by the finest, 2 of them as early as 3 months old. The school and their staff are not only the cleanest, safest, friendliest daycare facility, but they also have prepared all of my kids for school, help them with homework, offer Spanish classes, etc. during the school year, BUT also offer up all kinds of fun for the Summer with field trips both away and at their location. There is always a TON of fun to be had in the Summer.I have read some of the negative comments on this page and have to say that in my experience and with my 3 children I have never had an issue with their rate of learning. They excel in school (16yr old, 12 yr old and now soon to enter K, my 5 yr old) and I credit KRK for getting them started!!!!!!! It is amazing how much they learned! As for the comment about cleanliness, kids bring in the crud....you can’t keep that from happening. But I vouch that KRK CLEANS AND DISINFECTS CONSTANTLY!!!!! As well as sends out emails, notifications and posts on the door if there is a case of something. People.....anytime a child is in ANY childcare facility they will catch something. It isn’t the facilities issue, but just life when kids pick something up from outside of daycare, over the weekend while playing on a playground, around a sibling, parent, friend who has a cold.....I could go on and on.I have never had any issues with teachers not caring for my kids. They are tentative, kind, etc. Turnover happens, you can’t help that, but there are also staff members that have been there since the beginning of our 14 yrs and are STILL THERE. .As for other children that might bite, pinch, etc.....sometimes there is one in the group. Our kiddos have been a victim in the 14 yrs they have been there. But when it did happen the staff were on top of it. I was informed, the other parents were spoken to. A daycare doesn’t do a background check on children when they enroll people!!!! These are kids and incidents happen! What you need to know is that the staff is on top of it! In ALL WAYS!Each and every person is different, has different reviews, maybe they had a bad day, bad week, life, who knows....but this place has been amazing, if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t have signed up my second and 7 yrs later, my 3rd. I hope you give it a try!KRK, I love yall so much and thank you for taking such great care of my 3 children! Geez time has flown by. WE WILL MISS YOU!

If I could put no stars I would ms.ana is the only pleasant one there everybody has attitudes and they don’t do what I paid them to do my baby had a black eye! That they couldn’t explain and DID not write an incident report for it. Said that it will happen it’s daycare. My baby now goes to a new daycare with a great curriculum and never cries to be there and doesn’t come home with a new cut everyday. That says a lot. This daycare is terrible and so are the people WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ! Wish I could upload the picture it looks like they just slammed her down on her eye. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN GO HERE!

If your baby does well with being thrown into new situations, doesnt need more than one nap a day, is not shy, and doesnt need attention, and is basically grown at a year, and you dont mind your well paid pediatricians recommendations tossed aside, this is the place for you. If this doesnt describe your baby, stay clear and by all means, dont expect any respect from the director because she flat doesnt care, and doesnt mind letting you know it.

My son joined krk when he was about 13 months it was tough for me and him the first week we both cried lol I was obsessed with the live camera option watching him every min and there would be days he would cry and days he would just play and then miss jasmine came along , my son was simply in the awe of her she would give him the one on one attention he needed to simply help him adjust to this new big change in life , after that miss sylineia joined krk and together the two teachers were simply amazing with my son , miss sylineia was extremely loving and full of energy , there were times I would randomly check on the live stream and see her dancing away with my son or blow bubbles or be reading to the class she not only took care of there basic needs but it seemed like she enjoyed just being around them and made extra effort in doing extra activities like painting or my sons all time favourite the buggy ride , now I forget hes in class and I barely check on him because I have full faith in krk they have given me the peace of mind I needed I can focus on my work without having to worry about my son and I know not only is his needs taken care of but he is actually thoroughly enjoying himself and learning something new everyday! All I can say is krk is great but its teachers like miss sylineia and miss jasmine that make the place excellent!
