Love this daycare! I enrolled my two LO’s over a month ago and I am soo pleased with my decision. The teachers are awesome, always happy to help and love Ms Stephanie, her energy is exceptional in the morning, she greet the kids with great enthusiasm. When I have a request for the kids it always gets done quickly and I get constant feedback from the teachers. I will definitely recommend this school, the best hands down

This is the worst day care we have experienced. My daughter came home with a bruise on her forehead and nobody called to let us know what happened. I emailed the director and called the school but nobody wanted to take responsibility. We took photos of her before dropping her in the morning and you can clearly see that she didn’t have any bruises, so I already knew that it happened at Goddard. Second, I got a phone call from Stephanie saying one kid knocked my daughter tooth out. This place needs to be investigated . The story they try to tell me didn’t even match. All I’m saying is, if you care about your child safety, do not go to this place! Find a place with cameras inside the classroom that will allow you to view your child 24/7. This place does not care about the kids.

We are starting our third year at Goddard. At this point we have experienced every room with our two children (now 4 and 2). Hands down the best part about the school is the teachers and the extensive opportunities for enrichment for the kids! Ms. Taylor is amazing with my little ones and has pretty much become family. My son talks about Ms. Colleen and Ms. Abby often and enjoys them. My daughter loves Ms. Nighat and Ms. Sahad she always has great stories about her day they. The positive interactions I witness make me know that they truly enjoy being with my kids and love what they do! My kids feel safe, loved, and seen at school and they are learning and growing leaps and bounds because of their teachers.

This is our first year at Goddard and we’ve had a good experience thus far. Ms. Quenita and Ms. Stephanie greet my son with a smile every morning which sets the tone for the day! Ms. Indu and Ms. Rachel teach, nurture, and guide my son for success! My son loves his teachers! My goal is for my son to be reading by this time next year and he is well on his way. As an educator myself, I love the fact that I can view their daily lesson plans and reinforce concepts at home. Overall, great school!

My oldest son started with The Goddard School in December 2015 after several disappointments at a neighboring daycare. Over the past two years my son has graduated to multiple classes and teachers, although some experiences have been better than others we are very pleased with his current curriculum and teachers in PSII. Five months ago we enrolled our 6 month old in the Infant class and we are beyond in LOVE with Ms. Esperanza! She treats each child like her own and there is a sincere care for all the babies in her class. We get multiple pictures each day of the activities they are doing and I know he is being well cared for by his attitude at drop off and pick ups.

We have had both of our boys at this Goddard 3 mornings a week, for 3 years before Kindergarten. The teachers are fantastic and they have great learning activities that keep them engaged and interested. Goddard even arranges for multiple special instructors to visit once a week, included with the tuition. They have a singing instructor, stretch coach, and Spanish teacher on just the 3 mornings my kids go. Both of my boys had Ms. Nighat as a Pre-K teacher. She is amazing! She had a great calming effect on the boys that had them happily leaving my side at drop off (a first for my youngest). She quickly teaches them to be respectful and good listeners (great prep for Kindergarten). My oldest went to Kindergarten already knowing most of the Kindergarten requirements thanks to Ms. Nighats skill and the Goddard program. We are very pleased with this school.

My daughter started here in august 2017 at 2.5 and is typically super shy and struggles to adjust. She didnt even hesitate when I dropped her off and couldnt wait to go back on day two! She looks forward to going to school in the get set class and absolutely adores Miss Zoey. She talks constantly about her friends, her crafts, activities, and songs they learn. She has learned so much in her short time being there (days of the week, counting, alphabet-different words that start with letters, can write some letters, and even more) yet in her mind all she does is play which is huge! She looks forward to Mondays when Mr. Tony comes to sing and play guitar and Thursdays when soccer shots comes to teach her soccer. My son started there recently in the infant room and loves each one of his teachers, he smiles and gets excited when I drop him off to them each morning. They are extremely attentive to his needs and make sure he is not only taken care of but you can tell they truly love my little boy! It is not just babysitting, they interact and engage even the youngest in fun activities that promote healthy development physically, socially, and emotionally. Everyone is extremely welcoming and knows the kids by name. The director has always been easy to talk to, supportive, and understanding. I cannot say enough good things about this place and all its staff!! As a teacher and a mother I pray that my children foster a love for school and learning. I believe that this school helps foster that love in a fun and age appropriate way to help set the foundation for their future.

I unfortunately ignored the signs of unprofessionalism because I’d heard great things about the whole Goddard name. Let’s just say, all ARE NOT the same. The level that the director and owner will go to when they feel that you are leaving is outrageous! They had my little one for the better part of a year. They called me almost weekly with boo-boo reports that occurred at school because he was extremely rambunctious (as most 3 year olds are). It wasn’t until he received yet ANOTHER bump on his head and of course NO ONE knew how it got there, I decided that he was better off not there and somewhere with cameras. Upon hearing that we were leaving, they stooped to desperately low measures. So yeah, this place will NEVER get any business from me or ANYONE THAT I KNOW. I’m absolutely disgusted by this place and it’s so sad to be that ignorant in handling family affairs. Losing business should never make ANYONE stoop so low. So sad. So, save yourself from this huge mistake. It will be great until it’s not. Just a warning.

My husband and I were new to the area and I toured 5 different schools in the area all within the same price range. One thing that took getting used to (but was a good thing) was that they have 1 main teacher for each room and several floaters. So when we would show up it took a while to get used to seeing different faces with our kids. BUT I saw and learned later that this helps with the transitions between rooms. And everyone is familiar now. We have 3 kids currently attending. Our twins began in the infant room and have just recently moved up to the First Steps room with Ms. Candis. The infant room treated our kids great. They always had a PLAN for the infants just as sensory activities, art, motor skills etc. The only cautionary thing I would say is that our twins have been really light sleepers since birth so napping was a issue. But they both love coming to school and enjoyed their time. They just moved up to the First Steps room and Ms. Candis has help with their napping. Our older son has also been in two different rooms. He began with Ms. Colleen and had a great time in the room. He is now in the Get Set room. Ms. ZOey is awesome. She communicates well and our son has flourished. The Get Set room is where potty training occurs. But they have been wonderful. They ask about MY thoughts and how we are potty training at home so they can adapt to me.Overall, I am very happy with the school. My husband and I have found the staff to be friendly and open as well. The staff is also great about sending pictures to their app which I LOVE!

My son started at The Goddard School in March of this year. He started out in the infant room. The teachers in that room were beyond excellent and are by no means the reason for the one star rating. My son turned a year old last month, around his birthday we got the notice that he was going to be transitioned to the First Steps room. On the notice it stated that transitioning was a part of life and if a child had difficulty with it, they would work with them to ease them into the transition. As soon as the transition started, I noticed an extreme change in my son. In his new room, they have a set nap time from 12-1:15 pm. Well my son is currently cutting several teeth, and as any parent that has had a teething child knows, they do not sleep very well at night. So having a 12 month old go from 5 am-12 pm with no nap is nothing more than a recipe for disaster. I was told several times that my son would try to go lay down in the morning, but they could not allow him to fall asleep since he would then not nap during the set nap time. Now if they wanted to be so strict on this new nap schedule, I would think that it would be a good idea to try and implement this well in advance of his transition so he could get accustomed to his new schedule. After all, he is only 12 months old. In addition to this, on his first day in his new room, I was told by his new teacher that my son liked to be held and they just werent able to do that in the First Steps room because with the 2 teachers that were in there, one would be cleaning, while the other was changing diapers, so there was no one to hold any of the babies. Each day that I picked him up, I was told that he was upset most of the day, so with them not holding my son leads me to believe that my son was left to cry on the floor most of the day. The behavior changes that we saw in my son after his transition were extreme. Gone was my happy and smiling child. We now had a child that screamed and held onto us for dear life at drop off. Gone were the daily photos of my sons smiling face. We now received photos that showed him either crying, or photos of him looking miserable. We made the abrupt decision to look into a new daycare on Thursday. I sent the director and owner and email informing them that Friday would be my sons last day. The response I received stated the same cookie cutter response that transitions are hard for some children Well my son started his new daycare yesterday, and had no problems at all. So clearly he has no issues with transitioning since I was able to TRANSITION him to an entirely new facility and this school couldnt even move him rooms without incident. He only had an issue with the First Steps room. I have no idea what happened in that room. All I know is that my son HATED being in there for some reason or another and he has never acted like that.

My son is registered in the infant room and has been since December 2018. Every day we are greeted with smiles and the space feels welcoming and happy. I speak with my sons teachers every day and Ms. Esperanza, Ms. Petress, Ms. Faviola, and the other lead teachers always provide great updates. Since this is my first son and our first experience with daycare, I was worried the handoff between parents and teachers would be minimal and uncaring. The teachers at The Goddard School Long Meadow Farms put so much care into their children, remembering each infants favorite toy or their routines (prefers to nap in the morning, or likes to play after eating). I get to hear about my sons day EVERY day and any updates or changes that we need to make to his feeding/sleeping schedule. Again, Im just so happy at how engaged and caring the staff at Goddard have been. I hope to see this carry out through the rest of my sons stay at daycare, but so far we are thrilled with the group and love seeing our son so happy every day.

I wasnt fully satisfied with my current daycare and when they did not have room for my youngest son I thought this was an opportunity to maybe find a better school. I am so glad that I did! This school is amazing! Its more like a family than a facility or daycare! As stated before, the two teachers that I have the most contact with was Ms. Nighat and Ms. Lanekka. Ms. Nighat is my five-year-olds teacher and her curriculum for her students is above average. My child is most definitely being prepped for kindergarten and will be more than ready when that time comes. She provides structure, she makes learning fun and treats the children as if they belong to her. I cant speak of her more highly! She is awesome! Ms. LaNekka is the lead teacher in my 1 year olds class and is super sweet and nurturing! My little one just adores her! I absolutely recommend this school! We all worry about dropping our babies off, especially for the first time. However this school has safety features in place that would calm even the most nervous minds, not to mention its clean and well maintained. You need a pin code and a hand print to get past the front door, which also has a staff member present to greet you as you come in. If an incident happens or your kid gets hurt they are diligent about letting you know immediately. My child stuck a bead up his nose and a tornado hit while we attended Goddard, both situations were handled with expert care. The teachers are fantastic as well, my son had Ms Stephanie and you can really tell she loves the kids and her job. Throughout the day you get reports and pictures of your kid so you feel like youre still a part of their life even though you arent there. I wouldnt hesitate for a moment taking my child to Goddard, in fact it was a little sad to leave for kindergarten.

I enrolled my son here in April. He started in the Toddlers classroom. The teachers were amazing! They communicated with me daily, gave me updates on my son’s progress and were so welcoming. I thought we had finally found a childcare center that we loved. The first issue I had was with the director Ms. AnnMarie. Anytime I had a question or if I needed to tell her something she was very short with me and not welcoming at all! From that point on I went to the owner Ms. Tamkeen. Ms. AnnMarie was the first problem. It didn’t sit well with me the fact that I couldn’t communicate with the director about anything but I disregarded my feelings because the teachers were so amazing! Once I met the assistant director Ms. Mackenzie it was a different experience for me. She was always so helpful and friendly. I could talk to her about a issue I had and she would take care of it. I’m very appreciative of Ms. Mackenzie! Once my son moved up to the next class Get Set it was horrible! I explained everything to the Lead Teacher the first day. My son has Eczema so I asked her if they could apply his Aveeno Eczema cream once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I also told her my son was a very picky eater. I wanted them to offer him the school lunch but if he refused to offer him what I brought from home. The first week they didn’t. I emailed the owner about this and she said that the director communicated with his teacher about this. When I asked the teacher she said no one spoke to her about it! Communication was the second problem! Then one day when I picked my son up he was crying. I asked the Lead Teacher why was he crying and she said he had just hit his head. I asked her if an incident report was filled out and she said no because he didn’t have a bump. I’m sorry but I’ve worked in three different childcare centers. If a child bumps their head you still write a report. A bump or knot could appear later. Staff not being properly trained was the third problem. On my son’s last day I got all his stuff and when I came home I had another problem. As I’m going through my son’s stuff I noticed they never once used his water wipes that I brought the first day. I brought four packs of wipes. They gave me back all four packs not opened. I’m confused! So what were they wiping my son with??? My son is very sensitive and breaks out that’s why we use water wipes. But clearly they didn’t. Then I noticed that his Aveeno Eczema cream was never opened. So all this time they had never applied his Eczema cream. I was furious!!!! They only care about money, they don’t listen to the parents, the director acts like she’s too good to greet parents and they don’t properly train their staff! I’ve had my fair share of horrible childcare experiences but this is by far the WORST!

This is my response to Jennifer Albas review. I am the director at the school. My door is always open to all families who have concerns. You were more than welcome to come to me for any issues that you were having. I never received an email or phone call from you voicing any concerns. All your communication was through the owner or the assistant director. Once I was informed about any issues you had I addressed it with the teachers immediately. I did have a pleasant conversation with you about a mosquito bite your child had. You and I were surprised at how it made your childs face swell. We also discussed how the doctors thought that kind of reaction to a bite was no big deal and it surprised the both of us. You and your family were greeted by me, in fact your child was greeted by his first name. I know the names of each child enrolled in our school. Everyone is greeted with respect. You mentioned how you loved the toddler teachers, however, they tell a different story. As for your childs food, you never wrote anything down for specifics on his meals and what you wanted. The teacher in the Get set room asked you about specifics so that she understood what you wanted for your child. She was confused because snacks such as cheezits, cookies, gummies, muffins, and applesauce do not constitute as a healthy meal. This concerned the teacher. She gave you child the school lunch and snacks, and this made you upset? The bump on your childs head was addressed, you walked into the class 5 minutes after he bumped his head. The teacher was consoling him and was going to write the report. You did not want to wait for it so they wrote it up after you left and had you sign it the next day. You made the Get Set teachers very uncomfortable and even made one of them want to resign. I spoke to the teacher about his cream and she said he had unopened tubes in his cubby. There was one that was opened and was in the basket that the teacher was using daily. She applied the cream to him before nap each day. His wipes were in the restroom as well and used as needed. There were also unopened packs of wipes in his cubby. When I searched your childs file to look at his child assessment form from the state (form 7293) you never indicated that your son had eczema and needed lotion for that condition, never the less the teacher still applied the lotion according to your wishes. The condition wasnt listed in his health statement from your childs physician as well. Our staff is properly trained through Goddard University, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, Applebaum training. We also offer CDA classes to all our staff. You can also check out the credentials of our teachers online, they are amazing. As for our school being about money, here are a list of activities that are free when you enroll your child, book of the month, lunch, carnivals, music with Mr. Tony, Stretch and Grow with Ms. Cicley, yoga, Chess at 3 and countless other activities. As for your comment that I think Im too good to greet parents, youre wrong. I say hello to everyone, even if they dont respond back to me. I am so sorry you are having so many issues with so many centers. Its a shame that your child has been through so many centers and he is only 2.5 years of age. We wish you all the best and will miss your child dearly.

Horrible school. I could write pages and pages of why this place is trash but to make it simple... This place is run by amateurs, simple as that. The director doesnt know what shes doing. Most of the teachers dont have experience and/or also dont know what theyre doing. They care more about making money than they do about the kids and thats why they have lawsuit against them. I would NOT recommend anyone bringing their kids here.It is very sad that director puts up a professional front when in reality she and the school is very unprofessional. I was employed at this location and I didnt like the way they ran their school. I left by CHOICE after the director resfused to give me a morning off to go to my ultrasound appointment for my high risk pregnancy. I am now working at another Goddard with a humble and kind owner in Katy, Tx and I could not be happier. Investigate throughly before enrolling your kids in a place where the teachers get paid to babysit your children, because thats what they do. They dont teach, they babysit. Take it from someone whos worked there and has seen it all.UPDATE: The only reason they have so many “5 Star” reviews is because they ASKED the parents to write reviews as a “game” to up their ratings 😂 Notice how most reviews are all done at the same time, exactly 5 months ago. There are only a handful decent teachers that make this school relevant. Parents only know what they see at drop off and pick up. As a teacher you have an inside view that they don’t and I have experienced firsthand bulling and emotional discrimination from teachers to students in various forms, which is one of the many reasons I left. No one asked me to leave, I left voluntarily after experiencing discrimination from the administration. After refusing me the right to attend an appointment with my OBGYN while I was pregnant, I continued to be discriminated for placing a two week notice. They tell the parents what they want to hear to make this school sound like the best place to leave your child, when in reality it is the worst. I hope more people are encouraged to speak up and voice their real opinions because I know there’s a lot of us out there, some too afraid to put it out for everyone to see.
