We recently enrolled in Club Connect to assist my son in his virtual learning. My son comes bouncing out of school every day. He is having a great experience in the toughest of times. His teacher is organized and always get him signed into class on time. They also have fun activities for him after school is over everyday to keep him engaged and learning. Lastly, our principal is in touch with the teacher at my sons home school to ensure everything runs smoothly. The staff is very supportive. We are so grateful for this wonderful experience!

Both of my kids attend this preschool. Quality program and curriculum. Great administration. Most of the teachers are wonderful. And most importantly, my kids are happy.

The faculty and teachers are so nice and love taking care of the kids. So happy with our 2 years there. Mrs. Tucker (pre-k) is exactly the kind of teacher you hope your kids have.

My two year old son has attended Chesterbrook Academy for almost a year, and he loves it. They do so many activities each day, including art and Spanish, and the curriculum is fantastic! Communication with parents is great in person and though the app, as well as the monthly folder sent home with great information on how to reinforce teachings at home. The school regularly hosts great activities for parents to meet their childs classmates and fellow parents. We are so appreciative of the love and care the faculty has shown our boy!

I have been happy with Chesterbrook. We love the teachers there. Its really important that I feel like Im leaving my kids with people I trust, and that I know will treat my child like one of their own. Plus, its not just daycare, they have a structured day full of learning and activities.

My 2 year old and I absolutely love Chesterbrook at Stony Point. Every morning my son gets so excited to go to school and “see friends and teachers!” He has learned an incredible amount in our five months at Chesterbrook. Principal Amber always greets us with a smile and goes above and beyond to meet our needs. The facility is clean and well maintained. I would recommend Chesterbrook Academy to any family.

My son has been attending Chesterbrook Academy at Stony Point. I had the best experience there. First, they took him almost immediately, while most of other childcares would require to be on some sort of a waiting list. Second, the staff is extremely helpful. I will use their drop-in service for the day to bring my other child when her childcare would be closed. They would always find place for her. Also, the childcare facility itself is next to the park. There are so many trees around, which makes the air and the whole ambience. I toured some other highly rated childcares, but they would often be inside the mall, which would give a cement feel. Also, the advantage of this childcare is that they feed my child warm food that they cook there. It’s also super convenient because I don’t need to pack lunches. Also, whether I would forget to bring my son’s sheets from home, they would always find spare sheets for him. The care for child is on top there! The leadership team, Amber and Sara, are extremely helpful and pleasant! I have had a great experience so far!

I have enrolled both my son and daughter into Chesterbrook Academy. My son started Chesterbrook when he was 3 (graduated in 2018) and my daughter also started going to this school when she was 3 (graduates in 2020). Chesterbrook is like one big family! My son enjoyed his time at Chesterbrook and the staff still shows him love when I drop my daughter off to school. I love how the classes are split and how they give you a daily report (including pictures) of your childs day. Also, the academics are fantastic! My kids have learned so much and Im very thankful we decided to stick with Chesterbrook Stony Point even after moving all the way to Midlothian. I will definitely recommend this school to others. It is definitely worth it!

We love Chesterbrook! We moved to Chesterbrook when my son turned 2, and he just turned 4 for reference. He’s experienced love and laughter in each classroom. I always felt comfort when dropping him off as each teacher has always been happy to see him and helpful in peeling him off me. While staff turnover is extremely common in this field, the Principal thought it might be good to form a Teacher Appreciation Committee in effort to retain teachers by reminding them of their value. I served on the TAC for a year and at its conclusion, the new Principal and Asst. Principal (Sara’s the best and a CONSTANT) were able to relieve us of our duties and to keep the ball rolling on their own. And while we’ve seen a couple Principals come and go, I’m extremely impressed with the way Amber has come in, assessed each staff-member’s strengths and weaknesses and shuffled the deck accordingly. She also waited to do it during the Summer so it would be less disruptive to the curriculum that the school year brings. And then, there’s Ms. Tucker and Ms. Bobbie, THE best Pre-K teachers in town. Our son is already able to identify the entire alphabet, write his name and is now onto sight words. He will be the youngest kindergartner in next year’s class, but I have full faith that he will be more than ready, thanks to our Chesterbrook family.

Our daughter absolutely loves Chesterbrook. The teachers at each level have been amazing. They are very caring and supportive and treat each child like one of their own. She has made tremendous developmental progress since starting at there. We are so happy that we decided to enroll her at Chesterbrook!

Both of my children started at Chesterbrook Academy Stony Point in January and the difference we have seen in them is wonderful! The curriculum has been very beneficial and the communication to the parents is consistent and helpful. My favorite aspect of the school is the wonderful teachers. Both my children are thriving and I truly believe it is because of the caring nature of the teachers. We are so happy we made the change to Chesterbrook Academy Stony Point and look forward to how much our children will grow and learn while they are there!

My little has been attending Chesterbrook for several years now. Could NOT RECOMMEND IT MORE!!! Love all the staff and my daughter runs in every morning, excited to see everyone. We now use them for before and after care and that too has been wonderful. She was completely prepared for the start of kindergarten, as well.

I am so pleased that we decided to send our son to Chesterbrook! The staff is great/ They provide a warm and loving environment. We love getting reports on areas of learning/focus. My son is worn out when we get home - exactly how he should be. There is a good balance between learning and play. I also love the emailed daily reports on what my son is learning for the week along with the school menu.

The teachers are really what make the school an amazing place for our kids. They go out of their way to make sure the kids are happy and cared for whether its grabbing breakfast when were late in the morning or giving extra cuddles on a cranky Monday morning. Our kids have been in every class up to Intermediates (right now in the Toddler and Intermediate classes) and have had great experiences in each one. Were happy to be a part of the Chesterbrook family.

We have two little ones at Chesterbrook and couldnt be happier with their progress. Our three-year-old is learning at an amazing pace. Seemingly everyday he comes home with a new skill (counting, letters, days of the week, etc....Spanish, too!). His teachers are attentive, caring, and always willing to talk with us about his day at pickup. We are amazed at all the things he learns each week.We also have a baby in the infant room and - most importantly when it comes to kids that age - we have no reservations at all about dropping him off each morning. His teachers are patient and caring. They often send fun photos during the day featuring the class activity. Right now, our guy is learning to eat solid food, and his teachers have been wonderful working with him (even if that means trying the jar a second time an hour or two later).Overall we are very happy with Chesterbrook and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for not just childcare, but an educational experience for their children, too.

My son has had a great experience at Chesterbrook. He loves going to school now and is learning so much in the Pre-K room. He said the Pledge of Allegiance from start to finish the other day without any mistakes and he just turned 4 years old! Clearly something he was taught at school and I was impressed. The teachers are very friendly and I know he is in good hands during the daytime.

Great, caring staff - everyone is very engaged with the kids. It seems everyday is a good day at school, with the perfect balance between fun and learning! My 4 year old loves his class and teachers, all the activities are so well executed.

My son started going to Chesterbrook (Stony Point) since last summer when he was a little over 2 and he has blossomed so much. The teachers and staff are awesome. The preschool is also super cozy, not like other preschools Ive visited. I highly recommend it!

My son has been at Chesterbrook for almost 2 years now. His vocabulary and independence has grown so quickly since coming there, his teachers have been so loving and supportive of his growth. He is now in the beginner classroom, and the teachers have been awesome helping him to be consistent about using his growing vocabulary and helping us get him ready to be a big kid. I couldnt imagine another location with better leadership and communication.

I LOVE MY INFANT ROOM TEACHERS/ CARE GIVERS. Any anxiety I have leaving my 6 month old is quickly alleviated when I reach his room. They always make me feel like my son is top priority (which he is ;) ). 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Chesterbrook Academy provides a safe and secure building/learning environment and offers a strong curriculum with qualified/attentive teachers in each classroom. Communication is also a strength of the school, which helps me as a parent feel engaged and informed about how my children are doing throughout the week. My wife and I have been very pleased with the education and care provided to our two children (currently in the Beginners class & Nursery) and can recommend this school without hesitation.

We have had both of our kids in Chesterbrook over the past few years and have been very pleased. The teachers and staff truly care about each child. The curriculum is excellent and the kids have so much fun while they learn. Its very comforting to know that our kids are in a safe and loving environment every day.

The staff is thoughtful and dedicated to education. The facility is clean and updates are always popping up. When my daughter entered first grade, she new all the material, giving her the confidence to do well and adjust emotionally.

We love Chesterbrook! Our daughter has been here for 3.5 years since age 17 months. We will miss Chesterbrook so much when she starts kindergarten, but also know she will have an amazing foundation for elementary school thanks to the teachers and curriculum at Chesterbrook. It feels like family - the children, the teachers, other parents - we feel so fortunate that Chesterbrook was a special part of our daughters early childhood.

Our son has been going to Chesterbrook Academy for 6 months now and we have been so pleased with the teachers and administration. I especially appreciate the way the administration communicates and really makes the parents feel like partners, not just customers. And the teachers have done a great job helping my 3-year old transition from a much smaller classroom (at a prior childcare center) to a more structured environment. I definitely recommend CA!

While it’s only been a couple weeks, we believe we have found what we were looking for and more with Chesterbrook Academy. The teachers in the infant room, Mrs. Maxine, Ms. Melissa, and Ms. Jovan, are wonderful. From day one, they have been nothing but sweet and caring to our son providing him with the one on one attention we were looking for. If feels like our son is being cared for by people that truly care about him. They are patient with not only our son but with my husband and I and have really made this transition easier for us all.

My daughter started in the infant room when she was 10 weeks old and we love having her there. All of the teachers and staff are wonderful and knowing she is well cared for there leaves us at ease. We love Chesterbrook!

I am so happy our family found Chesterbrook! Both of our kids have been loved and attended to by all of the caring teachers and staff. We could not be happier with Chesterbrook Academy Stony Point. As first-time parents we were nervous about where to send our son for daycare, but Chesterbrook answered all questions and concerns wonderfully and were tremendously patient with us throughout the whole process. My son adores his teachers in the pre-toddler room and I know he is taken care of and left in very competent, loving hands. Highly recommended!

We have two children at Chesterbrook Academy and have been consistently impressed by what they are learning at school, the personal attention by the Teachers (shout out Miss Tucker and Miss Nesita), and the overall general care. Our son is reading site words, writing book reports, and doing science experiments at age 4. Our daughter is speaking Spanish, calling out colors/ shapes, and learning her numbers and letters at age 2. Its refreshing to know they are being cared for well in a great environment that encourages learning and friendship.

My daughter has been in the infant room at Chesterbrook Academy Stony Point since the beginning of January. As a first time mom, I was very nervous about leaving my baby when I returned to work. Sara, the director, as well as Ms. Kim (who opens when I drop my baby off in the mornings) and Ms. Maxine, Ms. Melissa, and Ms. Jovan, the other teachers in the infant room make me feel very comfortable leaving her every day. I know that she is in good hands and very well cared for. Every time I walk in the door babies are being held, read to, played with down on the floor, talked to. It is obvious that the teachers care for each child. I love the Tadpole communication app, it is so helpful to know exactly when baby was changed, when she last slept, or ate. I also love the pictures that they send me of the different activities.The center is clean, neat, and organized.My only complaint is the parking lot and the lack of space for parent parking.

My two girls have been at Chesterbrook for 2 1/2 years and we love the teachers and staff. They are great at challenging the kids and at the same time are warm and caring. My girls are thriving there!

I have a 3 year old and an infant in the school and I could not be more pleased with the staff, school itself, and most importantly the development of my children. Every teacher knows the kids by name, and they really go to great lengths to make my children feel special. My 3 year has wanted teachers to come to her house on multiple occasions!

Weve been a Chesterbrook family for about 3 years. We LOVE it. Our son is in the preschool group. Well be sad when he graduates this summer; however, our daughter is in the pretoddler room. She has plenty of years left with this outstanding staff.

Our son moved up from the infant to pre-toddler room recently, and we just love the care and attention all of his teachers have given him. We love getting fun photos of all the activities he does in class and the teachers always keep us updated on how hes doing and any fun, cute moments he has!

I cant say enough about the wonderful classroom and Miss Kim and Miss Bobbi. They put my mind at ease because they give personal attention to our little lady and are genuinely attentive and caring for her and all the children. It is never easy to leave your child at a daycare center, but when you know she feels safe in the arms of the teachers when you drop her in the morning, it allows you to go about your day and not have worry about your baby.They send pictures every day, and my child is learning social skills, motor skills and playing outside daily.The menu, while not perfect, is much better than many of the schools we checked out before deciding that this was the place for us. We prefer no sugar or dairy, but they are willing to give our little lady water vs milk and not give her syrup or jelly when the menu offers it.Very, very pleased. We have been with them for about 5 months now.

I whole heartedly love this school! Chesterbrook Academy has been the best decision my husband and I have made for our son and daughter. It has been such a comfort as a full-time working mother to drop off my kids and have no worries about their safety, care, learning, and socialization. From the nursery to the pre-k, I am forever grateful for the skills and confidence my children have developed over the years, and the attention and love that they receive from their extremely dedicated teachers. We used Chesterbrook for 5+ years at every classroom level. The teachers have ALL been wonderful, and interested, and caring every step of the way. The staff is caring and responsive, and the curriculum and activities are always engaging and appropriate and make learning fun!

Our family loves Chesterbrook Academy at Stony Point! The teachers and principal truly care about each and every child! My oldest daughter, now in 2nd grade, started when she was 13 months old. She always loved learning new things. Chesterbrook helped her to grow and blossom into a smart and fun loving little girl. My youngest, who is in Pre-K this year, was very shy when she began at Chesterbrook. Now, her personality is shining through. Her imagination has come to life and so has her love for learning. Chesterbrook Academy does not just focus on preparing students for the academics of Kindergarten, but also exposes students to culture and provides opportunities to be good citizens within our community.

Our son started attending when he was 8 weeks old and went for 16 months. As the older reviews detail, this used to be a fantastic school because the teachers were so warm and loving with the children and very open in communicating with the parents. About four months ago, a new principal came in and things seem to have fallen apart since then. First, they got rid of the lead teacher designations and moved a bunch of teachers to new classrooms. They also changed the age cut offs for the different infant and toddler classrooms more than once and swapped the physical locations of the classrooms more than once. Shortly after, multiple teachers quit. Within a span of about a week, we were notified that three teachers were leaving. As of right now, only one infant/toddler teacher out of the eight has been at Chesterbrook in an infant/toddler classroom for more than 3 months. Only two have worked there for more than 3 or 4 months. At some point, they also started changing the teachers schedules each week, so we never knew who wed be dropping our son off to. All of this combined meant he was constantly with new kids, in new spaces, with new teachers. With so many teacher changes so quickly it became obvious that they hadnt had time to learn the classrooms curriculum or get to know the kids. The result is total chaos. My son was being bitten and/or hit at least once a day (that we know of). For us, the last straw was a week where he came home with a deep bite mark that had broken the skin. We had no incident report and no verbal communication from staff. Nobody could figure out how or when it happened. The next day he had a large scratch on his forehead and again, no incident report and nobody knew how it had happened. That day, my husband saw a four year old having a temper tantrum in the hall and a staff member yanking him by the arm and telling him if he was going to act like a baby, he would go in the baby room. We requested a meeting with the principal and expressed all of these concerns. We asked for a plan regarding staff retention and helping our son with his separation anxiety at drop off. We got neither. We gave notice the same day my husband tried to drop our son off and witnessed him being hit by another child while one of his new teachers sat in the corner, oblivious. Immediately after, a child walked up to another and whacked him with a book. When we gave notice, the principal tried to remind is that we were required to give four weeks notice, aka. pay a months tuition. On my sons last day, I saw the same teacher who put his hands on the four year old out on the playground yelling at some kids. So he still works there, and to our knowledge, was never disciplined for assaulting someones child. Other parents have started to pull their kids out as well. My sons best friends parents pulled him out after they picked him up three times with a high fever that staff hadnt noticed. It breaks my heart to see how much this place has changed. We still love the Assistant Principal Sara, and appreciated that the executive director waived the four weeks notice when we advised her that our son was coming home with injuries almost every day. (They checked his incident reports and verified this). Hopefully they can get back on track, but right now I wouldnt feel comfortable recommending it to anyone.ETA:. They also do a drawing for a free weeks tuition when you review them online, which is why a lot of the reviews are clustered around certain time periods.

My son has thrived and grown at Chesterbrook Academy. The pre-k program has been phenomenal! He adores his teachers and pals at the school. This is a great place!!

My son goes to this location and he is in the Beginners classroom. I really love Ms. Nesita, Ms. Cierra and Ms. Emily. Im a super overprotective mom, but I feel so secure knowing my son is there in class with them because they really show the children love and he learns so much. They are very nurturing and patient and that really is a huge weight lifted off my back knowing that whenever he is there hes having fun and loving on his other favorite ladies.

Our two children have been at Chesterbrook for the past two years, so weve had experience with most of the classes (Infant, Pre-toddler, Toddler, Intermediate, Pre-K). We are very thankful that we are part of the Chesterbrook community! The things we appreciate most are: 1) The communication is excellent. Not only do we get daily reports about the children, but also the teachers communicate personally with us about both progress and concerns. I feel like the teachers really know our children and take a personal interest in them. 2) Our family is vegan, and the teachers have been great about working with us regarding our food preferences. 3) Our children are exposed to a diversity of perspectives as well as experiences. My 4-year old loves the science projects and dress-up center. 4) The teachers are always willing to give our 2-year old the extra cuddles he requires in the morning :)

My daughter has been attending Chesterbrook Stony Point for about a year now and I cant say enough good things about our experience! We started in the Infant Room, but we have recently moved to the Pre Toddler class, and both experiences have been a delight. The teachers and the administration are obviously a caring, attentive, and loving bunch. In our short time in the Pre Toddler class, my daughter has gone from throwing tantrums when I leave to running off to play or to see her teachers before I can say goodbye. I think her evolution is a testament to the wonderful work that Kim and Bobbie do with the class and the comfortable and welcoming educational/play environment they work to create! Thank you!

We couldnt be happier with the education and care our 3 year old is receiving at CBA Stony Point. He can speak Spanish, call out shapes and colors, and is a counting fool! The staff is dedicated to what they do and we cant imagine our boy anywhere else!

We are very pleased with all of the different aspects of CBA our kids experience each day: caring teachers, organized staff, great curriculum, good food, and fun activities. Our kids already enjoy going to school!

We love having both our boys at Chesterbrook. My oldest started in the pre-toddler room and is now in the beginners room. My youngest recently moved up to the pre-toddler room from the infant room. I always know that they are well taken care of and I know the teachers and staff really care about them! The curriculum is great also. Its fun when you realize your kid can count to ten in English AND Spanish, when you had no idea that he could! or when they come home singing a new song they learned.Theyve also really helped with motor and social skills for both our boys. Super recommend!!

My daughter has been going to chesterbrook academy since she was 3 mos old in the infant classroom. Ms. Maxine, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Nesita were so great with her. As a new mom it’s always difficult to leave your baby behind but I noticed how well she was doing socially and how much she was learning and it made it all worth it. She is now in the pre-toddler class and Ms. Kim and Ms. Bobbie have also been wonderful with her. They take such care in getting the children involved in activities and reading and I notice everyday how much she’s learning. Grateful for great schools and wonderful teachers !!!

We transitioned our son from home care to Chesterbrook’s beginners classroom about a year ago and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From helping him count to 10 in English & Spanish to starting to get him potty trained. Ms nesita, cierra & Emily and the other teachers that fill in between help make it easier for me when I drop off the little guy. Everyone on staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend it to any parent looking to send their kid here.

Chesterbrook has taken wonderful care of both of my baby girls! Also, the teachers at my oldest daughter’s elementary school say they see a HUGE difference in terms of kindergarten readiness with the kids that graduate from Chesterbrook’s pre-K.

Updated review - November 2020I wanted to update my review to reflect my continued confidence in Chesterbrook Academy (we are now a year 5 family)! They have handled the changes required to mitigate the risk of COVID19 with grace and efficiency. They have limited class sizes, enforce mask wearing for staff and students over age 3, increased cleaning and other smart practices. We returned to the center in June and our experience has been the same excellence we have come to appreciate. My oldest is now in Kindergarten, and her success in areas such as reading, classroom behavior, and social skills are due in large part to the great foundation she received at CBA.My experience with Chesterbrook has been very positive! We have been enrolled for over 3 years now. The curriculum is effective, and my child has learned a lot of academic, personal and social skills that I credit Chesterbrook for! The focus on independence for the intermediates class has generalized very well at home. The staff are kind and loving, in particular, the infant room teachers are wonderful and provide a caring environment for babies. The teachers are receptive to ideas and provide great feedback about my kids days. The biggest area for improvement would be to increase the amount of fresh fruits/veggies on the menu. Thank you to the staff at Chesterbrook for taking such great care of my kids!

Update - 11/19One year later, this review still rings true. Mrs. Amber has done a tremendous job stepping in as school principal and Mrs. Sara continues to be a rockstar as well. There has been a lot of change and transition, but the communication has been incredible and Ive never felt as though its impacted our children negatively. Kudos to the CBA staff and teachers - you are amazing and I will continue to recommend!!We have absolutely loved our experience at Chesterbrook. The curriculum is top notch, the staff is wonderful and I always feel like our questions/needs are met by Sara (school principal). Ms. Emily, Ms. Cierra and Ms. Nesita have taken such great care of our beginner - he is excited to go to school every day, and comes home tired from a big day of play and learning. Ms. Maxine, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Jovan have made our infants transition to school an easy one. They care for our daughter so well and keep us posted on fun milestones. We love Chesterbrook!
