My son is very bright. He takes after his Dad who is a computer scientist and very good at math. We felt that the school system wasnt challenging him in mathematics and studies in general. So we signed him up for Kumon to stay ahead of the game. I cant say enough about how WONDERFUL Mr. Son and his family are. They are outstanding educators and are so concerned and patient and dedicated. We will have been in the program for two years by next month for both reading and Math. If you are thinking to sign up, be prepared for daily practice. Every day, all year long. It is truly a great discipline.

Great experience with Kumon. It is really invaluable to have kids going to this learning center and I personally saw a very good benefit for my kid. We joined her both in Math and English and definitely she is getting better and better with each class. Thanks for all the staff and keep doing the same. All the best.

Its been 1.5 year since we signed up our son at Pittsfords Kumon and we think its the best investment. He has improved considerably in his math and reading skills. We cannot believe how far he has come and we feel more confident than ever about his abilities. His gained confidence is evident in his interactions with peers at school.

My kids enjoy Kumon. They enjoy doing math after coming to Kumon. My 3rd grade daughter felt too much repetition in multiplication. your previous location was better. This location is too much traffic in the evening. Would prefer a different location

My children attend Kumon classes since kindergarten. Kumon has helped them grow tremendously in reading and math. Both my daughters read above grade level and work with math above grade level. I am very satisfied with my experience with Kumon classes. Teachers at Kumon are very good and are on top of everything.

I have two children enrolled in Kumon and have been extremely impressed with the progress they have made after only attending for a year. The staff are kind, patient and extremely supportive. I enjoy seeing them build confidence in math and succeed in school.

My son has been doing both reading and math for several years. My wife and I have been very satisfied with what he has achieved so far. To complete assignments given 7 days a week, over the years he has developed a great habit of studying alone math and reading everyday usually early in the morning before he goes to school. Thanks to Kumon, now he is in triple-accelerated math class. Mr. and Mrs. Son truly cares about their students. I know they have been invited to and attended important life events of many of their current/past students, such as graduation, concerts, and even weddings, which proves their truthful relationships with students and parents.

I highly recommend Kumon for kids as early as kindergarten. Great facility and very good teachers. I get regular updates about the progress and can see my kid improve in math and reading.

I am very impressed with both Mr and Mrs Son! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I have had an informative session with them and was able to learn a lot about how Kumon is able to enrich my kids in both math and reading! After comparing notes with other learning centers, I have chosen to sign my four kids into their Kumon center........now 12 months later.....my kids are one of the brightest kids in their grades. My kids will be successful in their future academic years......thanks to Kumon center run by Mr and Mrs Son!!!!!!!

Kumon has been amazing for our son who was struggling in school with math and reading. The twice weekly visits helped him focus on his challenges and the daily 15 minute mini-micro homework assignments have created a ritual of doing just a little bit of studying everyday. The staff there are patient and friendly. Mr Sun has always treated us with respect and my son absolutely adores him. Thank you for saving our son!!!

Kumon has been very helpful, my kids have developed a love for math and reading. My kids are excelling in these subjects and have developed the good habit of being able to concentrate and stay on task. Thank you Mr Son and team we are grateful for your help.

This Kumon center and the instructor is excellent. Our child likes the instructor, tutors and overall experiences. The homeworks are crafted mixing easy and difficult problems or repeating similar problems. This motivates children to try out the homework as it makes them feel that every homework will not challenge their mind or thinking or learning. It also solidifies mastering the materials they know / learned. Kumon also help toddler writing alphabets and numbers ahead of kindergarten. Kumon is much better to teach toddler alphabets than many early childhood development centers. Our child developed the habit of doing homework every day.

My daughter has been doing Kumon for about 1.5yr, she has gotten so much better concentration, Math skills and has started to read on her own.

I normally don’t write any reviews but when I read the bad comments about this place, I am very shocked. My son started Kumon 2 years ago at the lowest level and has already exceeded his school grade level. His Math teacher said that he is very smart and doing great at school.

Kumon is good learning place, since last year i have noticed big change in my duaghter skill level in english and in math. child spends mostly 30 minutes on one subject. it is quite expensive when it comes to payment. kumon does not focus on kids handwriting, my daughter handwriting has been not good since we started at kumon and it hasnt hanged much.There could be improvement on moving to kids in a fast pace. overall its a good place for english, than math.

We checked out Kumon the moment we heard about what it was all about. Though my child was quite strong in Math to begin with, we all (including the teachers) thought there’s always room for improvement - particularly here the speed in solving problems. Kumon did not disappoint in helping achieve that.Kumon starts from the bottom to get the students master the basics first. When that level is achieved, everything else follows naturally. Mastering the basics helps the students work independently and with confidence.My child attended the Kumon in Fairport NY. The owners, Mr. & Mrs. Woogie Son & their son, Kevin are three of the nicest people we have ever known. They are very responsive, accommodating, helpful, patient, understanding, and very nurturing. I don’t think my child would have finished the Kumon Math program if they were not as encouraging as they had been. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Son & Kevin!We believe the Kumon program is very beneficial. My child received monetary scholarships from scoring the highest in their high school entrance math exam. Also got double accelerated in math, and continuously excelled in all math subjects. Another Kumon win was getting a perfect 800 in their SAT Math II subject test. Thank you again, Kumon!

Good startup learning and help my daughter lot in math and reading

I highly recommend this center for any child that may be struggling with reading. My son has greatly improved in speed and fluency.

Mr. Son runs his learning center with integrity and cares for each and every child who comes through the door. Ive worked with him for many years and can honestly say that he cares and respects each childs pace of learning. He tailors lesson plans to each and every childs needs. He is also a fair and generous employer. I moved out of the area but I miss him and his wife dearly. I know way too many students who have gone through the program and have aced the math section of the SATs and who have built excellent foundations for college. Some people struggle with the program because they want immediate results but the program is designed to build childrens confidence and self-discipline (with parental support) over time. If you are looking for a program that will teach your children lifelong discipline and learning skills, I highly recommend the program. And I cant think of anyone more patient and willing to go the extra mile for his students than Mr. Son.

Mr Son has very good work ethic, helps kids understand things and ensure they are thorough before going into next level

I began Kumon in the fifth grade after realizing that my basic math skills were below average. After been in Kumon my entire middle school year and start of high school I was excelling at math. I was above my grade level in school and doing very well. My basic math skills (multiplication and divison) were excellent, many people (teachers included) were amazed by my quick reactions with math. Unfortunately, I had to stop Kumon up until this week (my own decision) because of a TBI I had. Mr. Son was very supportive and wished for my best and hoped I would return, and I did. He welcomed me back with open arms and a big smile on his face. His entire family (son and wife) were very happy to see me return. I am glad that I have Kumon although it takes dedication everyday, it really is benefitical for my daily math skills and class but it will also be helpful for SATs which I will be taking this spring.

My son did not have a good experience here. The wife of the man who runs it is very rude and hates children. Its very expensive and the instructors there give little or no help. No concepts are ever taught, just drilled and practiced. Not worth the money!

Chinese guy runs this and the Webster one. He keeps very less people in his office so kids have to wait for a long time for checking. He holds back kids to go in next level just so he can squeeze little more money every month.... Not only this he takes too many leaves to save his money.... If I have other option I will leave this Kumon Right away! I just saw something online will go with that coz they realy do not teach anything, everything parents have to do... they just give you papers..
