My son has been at Rochester Academy Elementary school this year and I have yet to ever be invited or shown the inside of the school! I have NEVER MET OR Seen their school principal!!! And for the end of the year , the kids could NOT have a Moving up ceremony for the kindergarteners because of “Covd restrictions” but every other school in Rochester gave their kids a ceremony and allowed them to attend ! I feel the staff here iS VERY LAZY AND UNPROFESSIONAL

THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN AMERICA

The school staff is nice and engages children in learning. I am not sure why this school is considered christian because they dont even teach that. Plus I asked the very nice female principle about the religious demographic here and she claimed all religions attending are fine. Honestly this school is great. Oh and they do have uniforms but for the last friday on the month they have a free dress day

Rochester Academy Charter School is the best choice for a high school years.I have been going to Rochester Academy for about 5 years now. The teachers have always been nice to me, the students are nice and good to have around. Some of the teachers make you want to learn new things everyday. I got the opportunity to travel to Turkey thanks to the Turkish class. I went to New York, Boston, Connecticut and Buffalo with the school. If I did not attend Rochester Academy Charter School I would not have had those chances.

I️ sub at this school. The staff is so friendly, every faculty member who walks by greets you and helps out. This school is organized, has order, and overall has a great school environment. I️ would have full confidence recommending this school.

Ive been at Rochester Academy since the 7th grade. I believe that the school has gotten better over the years and will continue to get better in the future. They offer many extra curricular activities such as Science Olympiad, Student Council, Yearbook Club and Prom Committee. They also offer college preparation classes. Im proud to say that I will be graduating from Rochester Academy.

I never wanted to come to this school at the beginning because I never knew about it but when I got to experience its academic role in the school industry I liked it a lot. I even wanted to come back to the school which I have never done before because my familys always moving. Now this school has become my second family because of theyre commitment of teaching you how to succeed in life. When I say one on one attention I mean literally one on one. The teachers visited my house to tell my parents how progress is or how grades are, etc. After a brief statues of how Im doing in school, my mother felt satisfied that she chose this school for me to attend.Thanks to RACS and their staff members.

Rochester Academy Charter School is a amazing school. i have been in this school for 4 years and its awesome, they put me in so many different opportunities, for example, they put me in the Science Olympiad where i compete with kids around America for metals and scholarships for college. So far i got two 3rd place metals. Also they have lots of college readiness programs, like STEP and CRP. That takes you to trips for example we went to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, RIT, University Of Rochester, and etc. So far i enjoy this school and it will bring me a great future.

RACS is an amazing school if I must say so myself. In September I will be starting my 10th grade year. The 3 years that I have been here has been absolutely nothing but amazing! Ive had the wonderful opportunity to meet new people, expand my knowledge and figure out who I am! I love the safe, warm atmosphere the school provides for me and I admire the big cultural differences! Each year I compare the lessons we are taught there to the lessons other city schools teach their students and we not only learn more but at a faster rate which allows us to learn advanced subjects. I recently traveled to two foreign countries through this school and this school opens so many doors for me. I cant wait until the 2012-2013 school year begins!-Destiny Bowman, student of 3 years

I have been here since 8th grade. overall my experience has been amazing. The teachers here are very helpful and have helped me suceed. I am a current senior and applying to colleges through Common App. without the help of RACS I would have never made it this far.

RACS is a terrible school and I would not recommend no one sending their child to this school. The school is ran mostly by Turkish people that do not care about the kids of other ethinicity at all. My daughter had a experience with the gym teacher where he put his hands on her and drags her on the floor by her foot so by defending herself trying to get loose she slapped him. No one contacted me of the incident I called the principal first and he verbally expelled her from the school. He was not willing to hear her side of the story at all, he just immediately expelled her from the school although he did not go through the proper process. I had to request a meeting with him and all parties involved,which he acted like he did not really want to have. So to make all long story short they will cover up and protect their own and dont care what the situation is whether the staff is wrong the student dont have any hope. Plus this is not the first time that this teacher had a incident with a student and nothing happened. What a example and a great school.
