Came in as an absolute beginner and have been training here for the past 3 months. Recommend 200%. A female friendly gym and a perfect example of what people say -- that the instructor sets the tone/atmosphere for the gym. If you want to train with an experienced and knowledgeable instructor who is also very humble and approchable, along with a team of encouraging students passionate about the sport, then this is the place for you!Christian is a very patient and encouraging instructor committed to bringing out the best in his students. His passion for the sport/teaching is truly inspiring and can be felt everywhere in the gym.

I went to the Wednesday’s free try-out and coach Christian gave us a fantastic Muay Thai class!The gym facility is also super nice and clean. I’d go back there again!

I ENJOYED! I am from Singapore and was in Rochester for 1 week course. I decided to join a gym to spend my free time practicing Muay Thai. After reading the review, i found Rochester Muay Thai and I chose the correct gym. Christian is a very welcoming and attentive coach. The people in the gym are very friendly. I did not felt like a stranger in the gym. The training was great! I went 4 times in 7 days. Thank You Rochester Muay Thai!

Rochester Muay Thai and Coach Christian Nunez are FANTASTIC. Im from NYC. I am in the area for a few weeks and looked vigorously for a boxing or muay thai gym in the area. I tried a few places that sucked horribly before I found Rochester Muay Thai. Coach Nunez and the team have been extremely accommodating and welcoming to me from the get-go. More importantly, the training is A+++. They are keeping me in shape and sharp during my stay in the area. Whether youre looking for a good workout or looking to foster your muay thai skills, Rochester Muay Thai is the place to be if youre in the area. You should definitely give them a shot and sign-up. If I lived here, I know that Id be a full time member for life!

Rochester Muay Thai is amazing! Christian is such a great and patient instructor. He really takes the time to explain how to properly do the movements and is encouraging throughout the whole process.It was really important to me to find a place where not only the instructor was great but also the students. I had no desire to go to a place with big egos and where people are trying to knock my head off.It is truly a wonderful learning environment and if you are looking for a place to get a incredible workout while learning some great self defense skills, look no further and check this place out!

Rochester Muay Thai is a great place. As I’m a total novice to Muay Thai (or any martial art for that matter) I was a bit apprehensive, but Christian is a fantastic teacher who keeps the atmosphere super friendly, though demanding (in a good way). I’ll definitely keep going.

FANTASTIC!!! Christian is a relaxed, patient and welcoming trainer. His training style is exactly what I need. As a 1st timer at his gym, he partnered with me reinforcing stance and technique while still individualizing instruction with every other other student. I didn’t once stand around feeling clueless and uncomfortable (which is common occurrence at other gyms). I was thoroughly impressed with the 1st hour pace of teacher led warm up into the 2nd hour of execution of routines/practice. Cardio, conditioning, self defense, quality of detail/technique are bundled into high quality class. As a school teacher, I’d rate Christian and his gym as gems and the place learn Muay Thai.

Christian Nunez is my hero, hes got a cool down to earth demeanor about him. Great instructor with no ego, fantastic environment.

Fantastic place, great atmosphere. Christian is a great instructor and will you push you pass your comfort zone. Youll improve every class, and perform techniques youd never thought youd be able to thanks to how very detailed and patient Christian is with every student. Youre a part of a team that does nothing but encourage and help each other from start to finish. Highly recommended. Ill be training here with Christian until my shins fall off.
