Best mma/kickboxing/ju-jitsu gym in town in my experience. Best pricing and there is more one-on-one time available than other places. Because it has a smaller clientele it feels like the members are a little closer than at other gyms.disclaimer - I havent tried the new Stock Martial Arts though yet either :)

Showed up with no grappling experience, but was welcomed. Great workout, but great for any levels or to go at your own pace! Got plenty of help from the more experienced members as well. Plenty of room, amenities, and parking in the new location.

The new gym is an incredible upgrade from the previous facility! The head coach/co-owner is very easy to work with and always helpful in answering all my questions. Would strongly recommend for anyone interested in trying out martial arts and looking for a gym in the Rochester area!

The coaches are committed to constant improvement and work with each student to reach their specific goals. The muay thai classes are very welcoming and focus on locking down the basics before moving into advanced techniques. Imperial even adapted during COVID and provided video lessons, which helped keep me from losing all my skills during the months at home. I really love this gym!

Imperial Training Center is very professional place, and at the same time it’s a place to learn and have fun!They are very professional when it comes to safety, because currently we’re in a middle of a pandemic(COVID-19), and Imperial Training Center is taking great precautions in keeping everyone safe. They have plenty of room to train and keep everyone safely six feet apart, while wearing our mask in between training classes. When walking in the door your temperature is taken and hand sanitizer is given to you. The place is always sanitized, wiped down, and extremely clean.The environment is a great place to learn new techniques and skills. Imperial Training Center is a great environment , because the coach’s observe you while your training and they give suggestions on how you can improve your form, technique, skill or stance. The coaches also explain their logic and reasoning behind each improvement or new techniques and skills.This is a great place for someone who wants to try something new and challenging. Especially for me... I strive to always have small goals and taking Brazilian Ju Jitzu allows me to see my progress, such as ranking up in belts. I enjoy taking classes here because I feel like when I am training I am being my authentic self. The Muay Thai classes is a form of cardio and I find that more enjoyable than the basic running. I also like the aspect of Muay Thai because it’s teaches you real life combat skills.Overall I think it’s a phenomenal place in Rochester Minnesota, and I am blessed to be a member of the Imperial Training Center community and I’m grateful to be given the opportunity to train here.Thank you!-Cleveland Nguyen

Cool, fun, atmosphere where everyone is there to learn and help each other no matter what skill level you are at. Its a great family friendly place to learn self defense no matter how young or old.

Honestly very unprofessional gym. Theres much better options available if you are a legit fighter in Rochester and actually want to improve your skill.

Great place to train! They really cater to every level, Ive never done anything like this and signed up for muay thai kickboxing. What a blast, excellent atmosphere where everyone is encouraging.

Amazing place to train at, very energetic atmosphere. The instructors are always walking around and helping during class. One of the best places Ive been able to train at.

I was in town for a week and wanted to train BJJ. Thinh, Dan, and the students were very welcoming. If you are looking for a place to train BJJ, give them a try. I also watched them with the kids and they have a great kids class.

Awesome staff! A great student to teacher ratio. Fun and intense! Kids love it!
