My son absolutely loves these Martial Arts classes. He gets so excited to show us new his moves - he’s so proud of himself!! The instructors are amazing with kids! Highly recommend.

We started with a trial for our younger son. After watching one class, our older son wanted in too! Now they are both enrolled in the Ninjas class, and they look forward to these classes more than any other sport weve tried, and they want to practice all their moves at home too. Plus it instills good behaviors and concepts like self-efficacy that will serve them well outside of class. Nothing but happy with New Era Martial Arts.

We have been happy with our sons experience so far at New Era Martial Arts. Originally, we hoped our son would get skill development and reinforcement in such areas as self-control, direction following and goal setting. In addition to all of these, the instructors abilities to make learning fun has made Tanner look forward to every class. We highly recommend New Era!

Great place! My kid is having so much fun doing karate. Her ability to follow directions has increased greatly since she joined as well as her physical strength.

The program here is great. Sansei and Deshi are good instructors, very patient and fun to work with. They’re great with the kids and keep them focused. The kids learn about self defense, what to do in a bullying situation, how to respect each other and discipline. Classes are for Adults and Children.

New Era is a great place the Instructors are very patient and positive.My daughter has improved in gaining self confidence and positive manners towards everything. She has lots of fun while developing physical and mental health.Love this place..

My son has been going here since February 2020. When the pandemic hit and we couldn’t leave that didn’t stop the learning and practicing. There were multiple zoom meetings a week and it helped so much! Master L is great with the kids. I’m glad we made the choice to go here for martial arts.

Excellent place to train, learn and have fun. Encouraging and awesome instructors who have your best interest in mind. Always a pleasure to attend classes and gain new skills. Master L and Deshi rock!I especially love all the self defense drills and skills and how they are taught in such a practical way. I’ve been here for 5 years and I still learn new things all the time. Whether it’s fine tuning skills or perfecting techniques I’ve grown so much because of this awesome place.

I am so glad I found New Era! I took Tae Kwon Do as a kid and have always regretting giving it up. Taking classes here has gotten me back into being active and really challenges your mental focus and coordination. Kids and adult classes are available and Master L and Deshi cater the classes differently for adults & kids. The instructors are so patient with everyone and make sure to challenge everyone at class, no matter what their learning level is. Ive really enjoyed what Ive learned this past year and am looking forward to continuing training here for years to come.

My boys and I are all learning at New Era. The classes are fun and diverse and allow for all skill levels. Master L and Deshi teach a wide range of martia arts so you are sure to experience something from them all. Deshi’s Cardio classes will leave you sweaty and Master L’s combos are an awesome mental and physical challenge.The boys love going and really enjoy the games tailored around the weekly skill themes. My oldest started as a little ninja and is now in the juniors class loving the challenge and being able to spar.You become part of the family at this Dojo!

New Era is a great place for kids. Master L and Deshi work well with kids and really care. We are glad we send our son there!

Ive known Sensei Lavalle for three years and I am happy to be training under him again. New Era is a place where people of all ability levels can train together working toward fitness goals and developing confidence. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I cant think of any place Id rather be!

I have been impressed with the fun and friendly attitude both the instructors and other students have exhibited. Each class is well prepared ahead of time and Sensei L makes each one different and exciting. All the instructors take time to help you whenever they see you struggling and are extremely patient. They are welcoming and always available after class to help with any issues you might be having.It has been (and continues to be) a joy to go to class every week. They even offer free BJJ classes to students.Overall, there seems to be a sense of community that you dont always find in other Dojos. And I think this is what makes New Era especially stand out.

Amazing staff, great safe environment and develop your skills as a martial artist

They say they teach BJJ, but really its just them teaching you the same stuff that can be found on the Gracie Combative DVDs. They charge $99 a month for their striking classes and BJJ; however, if you want to do just BJJ, you still get charged $99 a month. They said that Joe, the head instructor, is a Blue belt in BJJ, but so far his references havent checked out. Watch out, these people are just in it for the money. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Response to Joe: Number one, it wasnt several weeks, it was two classes. Great Classes? Its the same thing off of the combatives DVDs, dont give yourself too much credit. As far as only wanting to do BJJ, god forbid someone doesnt want to learn your style of MMA. The thing is, you keep mentioning over and over how I wanted things for free, well heres the thing Joe, (and I told you this before as well) If you were an established BJJ training place, then I wouldnt have an issue paying you the monthly requirement. The money is never an issue, its the quality of an education that I am paying for and trust me I got enough money to cover it. As far as my comments on FB go, those arent rants, they are to ensure enough people hear my opinion on your BJJ Program.
