I attended this day care when I was a young child; four and five years old, in 1974. No offence to those who wrote the first and third reviews, but I have very fond memories of the place. The teachers were loving and had one-on-one relationships with the kids, and I remember sitting on their laps, etc. I had previously been to a cold and regimented daycare, but once I got transferred here, things improved. Naptime was very relaxing for me. I rarely slept, but would lie quietly on my back and listen to the records that were being played on the record player. I hope the place is just as good now as it was in 1974. My one hope is that the teachers are now on first-name basis with the kids. When I was there, they werent (the teachers at the other daycare werent either).
They cut their food with scissors. The cook is very adamant that you TELL NO ONE ABOUT THE SCISSORS.Plus, toddlers are in a basement with no toys. Hey, at least they were washing the toys. . .
