My oldest child has been attending Moving Arts when it first started and we have continued ever since. They offer superb programs for every level including camps. Even more impressive is the amazing effort Alyce and her team have put into keeping the studio open safely for students during the pandemic while so many other programs have not been able to do so. In-person instruction is a godsend and a must and its been a joy to see how beneficial formal dance instruction has been for my kids over the years. Im also grateful that the end-of-year recitals do not involve the purchase of a costume that gets worn once for the event and then discarded simply because theres no other practical use for it.

I highly recommend Alyce’s studio and its offerings. Alyce and her staff teachers offer a high quality, curriculum-based, disciplined yet fun and inspiring ballet training (and end of year show) to my daughter who has been attending since Alyce founded the school some years ago.My daughter looks forward to classes every week and especially after safely returning to taking classes in the spacious studio recently, following months of virtual classes from home.

My daughter is in her second semester of ballet at moving arts studio and absolutely loves it! The quality of the ballet education is great and Alyce is very welcoming and inclusive of families different needs. She and her staff are very professional and thankfully have been been able to keep the studio safely open during the pandemic. My daughter has been taking classes at Moving Arts for 2.5 years. It has been a great experience for her and our family. The new location is spacious and bright. The instructors are talented and have decades of experience and creativity and they work well with the dancers of any age group. We are so proud of the skills our daughter has learned with the guidance of Moving Arts. She looks forward to her classes every week.

Alyce has created an absolutely lovely space for dance. The space is large with lots of natural light, high ceilings and a quality sound system. It is a breeze to rent via the website and her rates are as reasonable as it gets in San Francisco.

Very well run programs with extremely high level of instruction quality, my daughters take ballet classes there, are learning quickly and absolutely love it. Have done camps too and enjoy the mixed program, they got good exposure to ballet etc but also had a blast doing other activities. The studio is tucked away but very large and nice, w/parent amenities like waiting room, wifi, and easy parking nearby. Teacher is amazing.
