The Brazilian hip hop class was a lot of fun.

Ive been coming here for about 4-5 years now, and I still love Rae Studios. Theres a wide variety of classes that you can take--whether you want to take a cardio dance class to something more technique or advanced choreography--theres something for everyone.Love the dance community Jessica has built in SF.

This place changed my life. Jessica the owner is one of the most kind and motivating people youll ever meet. The studio is by far the best looking studios in the bay.

Ive been taking classes here for more than two years, and come twice a week. Kathy is a great teacher. If youre a complete beginner, make sure to take the Intro to Ballet series as the Beginning Ballet classes are not really beginning.

Ive taken most of their classes and have had a blast in each one. The instructors are skilled, nice, and teach fun, hip dance moves. I personally enjoy Allis Jazz Funk choreography. If youve ever taken Micayas hip hop at ODC, the style and class structure is similar.Sessions are held one at a time in a single room. Most are very popular and usually filled with a healthy number of class takers. They also have a changing area in the back and a comfortable waiting room with water and sometimes snacks!

So happy that I woke up early enough to take this 7am class! Playlist was poppin and the instructor, Stephanie kept us moving and fully engaged throughout. Definitely recommend this class! Thanks Stephanie!!!

One of the worst dance studios I have been too. The classes are expensive and often involve choreography that no one is able to follow. The studio has one wall made entirely of glass so everyone who comes just watches you dance (awkward, plus super distracting). The “changing room” is the size of a broom closet and the managers lead “tours” of the studio that include walking random ppl in and out of the room. Lastly the people who work there are rude. If you want an backdrop for your Instagram, come take pictures here — but then leave and spend your precious money and time somewhere else.

Nice historic (?) building. Classes dont seem to have caps so they can be crowded sometimes.
