Kat is an amazing dance teacher and you will not regret working with her.My partner and I took private salsa lessons with Kat for about 2 years. I had danced salsa before on my college dance team, and my partner had two left feet. We wanted to dance salsa as a hobby and get comfortable on the dance floor for social dancing.We tried lessons with other dance instructors but had negative experiences – some teachers were even condescending. We were so lucky to come across Kat. She is incredibly patient and was able to craft lessons that addressed both of our dancing levels / experience. My partner has gone from not being able to recognize a salsa rhythm to confidently putting together dance sequences. I have grown a lot as a follower – learning how to take cues and add in styling.One of my favorite things about dancing with Kat is she is so knowledgeable. She was a wealth of knowledge on the background and history of various moves, as well as the physical mechanics of how the moves work.If you want to learn a lot and have a great time doing so, I highly recommend dancing with SalsaKat.
