We have two kids who have very different education and emotional needs and DFES has been a wonderful place for both of them to thrive and succeed. The principal, teachers and staff are committed to providing the best education and the most healthy atmosphere they can for their students. We love this school!

My Opinion:My child is not a happy camper here, (hides when its time for school) Not much empathy /acceptance at the school for new transfers. Kids tell her she cant play with them and throw leaves at her face during lunch.The federally funded wellness center is locked daily. Dont know where the social worker is... or what they do with cash given for wellness center, maybe PTA spends it elsewhere.

I am in 8th grade now but I really miss this school I now go to school with about 5 other kids (that I know of lol)who also went to Dianne Feinstein with me and we all miss it there the teachers there were the best and super supportive going to that school was so fun sometimes me and a few of my friends still have those moments where we just go I wish we were still in elementary school I seriously miss that school lol anyway GO TO THIS SCHOOL U WILL LOVE IT!😀

I wish I could give this school half stars. I was here for 6 years, and I didnt really enjoy this school. This is because the teachers randomly make people skip learning time because somebody got in trouble. For example, if someone flung a piece of food, the whole lunch table gets the blame.Conclusion: Dont go to this school.

Iron Fist Principal never listens to parents complaints. This is the common feeling at the school.From our experience Ive filed a complaint with the DEPT OF EDUCATION.Failing to respond to SST by teachersDiscrimination by teachers and principalRepeated emails and letters asking for helpScreaming at parent about undiagnosised disability of child causing absents.Calling CPSMy child has since been diagnosed not to attend school from the disability until she gets help. And the teacher refused to let her even go to sst aproved bathroom visits and tested her undiagnosed disabilities.If this is a case of uneducation staff on how to deal with a disablity I dont know.Good school ? NoThey let my child sit unhelped for 1 year before helping her while her grades went down hill.Childrens Rights are at stake here!All of the Children!~
