It was a birthday gift and I loved it. Mark was super nice and neighbourly since our first contact over the phone. I wanted to fly at the same time as my partner so Mike and his colleague were there at the same time so we did fly together and we even got really close to each other and got some nice pictures and videos and enjoyed it all just like I wished for.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing!!! I couldn’t ask for a better instructor. Mark was amazing and made sure I was comfortable. If you want to give paragliding a try, then your first experience should be with Elite Paragliding!!!

My son and I went tandem paragliding with Mark yesterday. He was amazing from the first phone call I made to speak with him. Communication beforehand by text was great as well. Mark was knowledgeable and informative about the equipment and answered all my questions. I felt that my 13 year old son was completely safe in Mark’s care and when I took a turn and struggled a little, he was great. I also encountered other paragliders who spoke very highly of Mark while my son was flying. He’s top notch. Highly recommend.

Elite Paragliding is amazing! I have gone paragliding three times in SF, the first time being with Paragliding San Francisco, and the next two with Elite and I havent looked back! Elite will take you up for a longer time and they will do some tricks (depending on your comfort level) which are a total blast. Mark and the rest of the staff are super nice, chill, and helpful. I wouldnt recommend paragliding with anyone else!

An amazing and safe experience! Mark is a skilled, experienced professional who answered all the questions I had before, during, and after, and had all kinds of useful and local knowledge about the area, conditions, and history. I had done some research prior and it was great to have him confirm what I had read, in particular that tandem flying with an experienced pro is safe, so I was able to focus on the exhilaration of the experience. We chose a fun route, cool sights to see, and did a few fun tricks at the end as he asked about my comfort level to make sure I was doing well. Truly a fantastic experience!

I have gone on 2 flights so far with Elite Paragliding and the experience is thrilling and throughly exhilarating. I felt completely safe, as Mark double checked all harnesses prior to our flights and clearly explained every aspect of what I should expect prior to my tandem flights and while in flight and landing. I had previously taken paragliding classes with other agencies, and I met Mark, as one of my instructors. He was the best, teacher as well. Once in a lifetime experience!!! I was apprehensive at first since I consider myself heavy at 235lb and not knowing any of the equipment that they use. When we got there, Mark showed me the equipment and my confidence rose and after take off, all my concerns were forgotten. It was amazing to be able to see part of San Francisco from such a different vantage point. Seeing the small strip of highway 101 and how much the coast line has changed. Flying withing 10 to 20 feet of a park to over 500 or more feet above the waves. Overall a fantastic 30-40min flying experience will definitely recommend to everyone that visit San Francisco

Mark is a great pilot who is exceptional about navigating while on air, he made me feel safe and even let me try and fly the wings. I had the greatest time! This was my first time ever doing anything like this and I am so glad Mark was there to be the guy taking me up! As soon as we were in the air, Mark’s obvious experience and capability put me at ease. He was fun, accommodating and safe! Can’t wait to go back up! Would highly highly recommend him!

First, I want to say I felt very safe paragliding with Mark. He’s very experienced and confident at paragliding. Mark is good at feeling out your comfort level while paragliding and keeps up a good conversation. I went to Mussel Rock, was which was as an amazing view.Overall I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend if anyone wants to do it to go with Mark!

I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I am a fixed wing pilot, hot air balloonist and new to powered paragliding as well, but have never had the chance to do free flight paragliding. It was awesome !! I am trying to talk my wife into letting me buy another toy. Mark Zinkel is a fantastic, safe pilot. I cant wait to fly with him again soon

I went paragliding with Mark yesterday for my birthday, and to say it was phenomenal would be an understatement! He kept me updated the day before and day of my flight about weather conditions, what to expect and where to meet. While we were getting ready he explained what it is that we are wearing and how everything worked. He kept giving me words of encouragement because he knew how nervous I was. My comfort and safety was first priority on and off land. While we were soaring through the sky, he pointed out landmarks that were visible and asked if I was up to doing a few tricks. It was hands down the best experience I’ve had! I would 100% go back to fly with Elite Paragliding!

I went up flying around with Mark on a Saturday three weeks ago and it was an awesome experience! After deciding to do this and signing up, Mark prior to the day of flight itself, kept you updated with practical stuff (recommended clothing and weather forecast) and answered any questions you might have.Arriving the location early, I first met up with his business partner (and flying partner) Rob who walked me through waivers and some general talk and q&a before Mark arrived. There were several potential launching spots, so it was informational and interesting (and comforting) to know that even though their passion for flying was superb, security was key.We then walked to the launching site (which btw was at Mussel Rock, about 10-15 from Daly City) and throughout the process of gearing up Mark explained everything around that and how the parachute worked + the take-off process.Everything went smoothly! Absolutely no problems, great weather conditions with excellent drift from the wind. Couldnt have been a greater experience flying around up there! And yes, truly a peaceful yet exciting experience! Absolutely recommended if you want to feel like a bird for a while!Ole M

Paragliding in San Francisco was absolutely awesome! We soared along the coast of the ocean near Pacifica with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Sutro tower.. (They say they often see whales and dolphins, but I wasnt lucky enough for that.) It was smooth and peaceful, and when asked if I wanted some thrills we did some maneuvers that were exciting as well. I can see that Elite Paragliding is focused on safety first and they wont fly if the conditions arent excellent. I cant wait for another opportunity to fly with Elite Paragliding!
